What if Darth Vader WASN'T weak to sith lightning
He wasn't weak, but it would have damaged him worse than the opponnet because of his cybernetics.

Could be wrong in cannon tho. Luke uses force judgement with his cybernetic hand in legends.

This is why Vader was heavily weakened/dying when he threw Palpatine down the shaft. The force lightning damaged his to the point where it could no longer keep him alive.
So the answer of “What if they all survived Phantom Menace?” is that ‘everyone but Qui-gon kicks the bucket in Attack of the Clones essentially. Neat.

Agreed, although I highly disagree Obi-Wan would lose to Dooku at this point. He would be in his prime around 34 years of age, having become THE master of form 3. I would agree to meet in the middle and say Obi-Wan wouldn't win, but he most definitely wouldn't lose and just keep on the defensive until Qui Gon got back in the fight
Well, age is difficult for force users, as traditionally they have an age range for their prime, but they also grow much stronger with age, such as sidious and plo koon, so the physical prime isn’t equal to their force prime

Everytime the council ignores Maul as a threat literally somthing horrible always happens....it's like they learned nothing after Qui Gon and Adi Gallias death...
Although tragic, the way Dooku stunned Obi-Wan before stabbing him through the torso was a clever allusion to the way Maul took out Qui-Gon in the main story.
Was wanting to see one where Qui-Gon survived The Phantom Menace.
I liked the focus on Qui-Gon and how he dealt with all his losses and moved on. Sad that Obi-Wan and Anakin had to die so young but well played

Darth Maul: How do we tell him?
the answer is simple. If Qui-Gon survived TPM, he would have uncovered Sidious plan and would oust him as the Sith Lord, so Sidious would have found a different way to assassinate him before that happened. Qui-Gon's death is a fixed point in order for Sidious' plan to succeed so, theres your answer.
Qui-gon's death was also a fluke, it was never meant to happen by the Forces design, Maul was destined to lose that first fight, but he didn't.

What if Obi Wan turned to the dark side right after Qui Gon died? I feel like this could go one of two ways, where he either defeats Maul and gets picked up by Sidious or maybe he loses and Maul trains him or something. I feel like it could be a cool idea 🤔

What if Anakin wasnt an outcast in the Jedi Temple? What if he was *too* popular and started making the other younglings more like him?

Truthfully, I don’t think Anakin would go down like this- none of the three would have let their guard down with Maul. Anakin would have blocked/dodged, leading to Obi/Qui/Anakin vs Maul vs Sidious & Dooku
I'd love a follow up to this with Qui Gon and Ahsoka! I think they'd have a cool dynamic. Maybe have them do a mission with Jaro Tapal and Cal, that could be fun.
I think that Darth Maul surviving this also and coming back in about another five years, would be a good continuation.
Absolutely loved this what if! Great work on this one mate. I personally would have had Maul meeting his brother Savage during the 10 year timeskip between episodes 1 and 2 and training with Savage for those 10 years considering he was in Dathomir although that’s just my opinion, still a good what if.

Maul is lucky Anakin took Shmi back home first because she may not be force sensitive or a warrior but she's a mother and if she saw Maul use her to lure her son there just to kill him, Sidious would have been the least of his worries.

i love it when there is a slight sadness and a happiness to an ending after many characters die and you did it perfectly with this one.

Well done story. Anakin's death was the unexpected surprise, but it made sense. Maul wanted revenge, Palpatine wanted Anakin, Anakin was the Jedi chosen one, revenge against both was handled in one surprising stroke. I am glad you let Anakin's mother survive, I thought for sure she would die to do the whole drive Anakin to the dark side, but he was the targeted for death, not exploitation. Well done all around.

Firstly; Welcome back!
Secondly What if; Thrawn was a Jedi, Aayla Secura was the Chosen One and became Darth Talon, Sheem was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Padme was a Sith Lord trained by Palpatine Part 2, Grogu was Yoda’s son and trained with him on Dagoba, Sabine and Ezra fell in Love, Maul left the Sith and returned to Mother Talzin, and finally Darth Nihlis’ mask/rakghoul virus resurfaced during the Clone Wars?
But it doesn’t make sense for him to do what if Padma was a sith trained by palpy because that story ended with them hiding away.

I always thought Maul knew about the clone army. When Oppress finds him in Clone Wars, Maul says that the Clone Wars started without him, indicating he knew what Sidious had planned.
I think Maul would attack Obi-Wan first, as he was the one who defeated Maul in the duel of fates, throwing him to the shaft by the debris. But if so, Dooku would then kill Anakin instead of Obi-Wan, and all will be the same.
Also, Maul's survival in a duel against Dooku seems a little plot armor-ish to me. Would be fun if Maul survived the duel of fates, but then immediately fall by the hand of Dooku.
This one broke my heart. 10/10

Qui Gon delving into the Dark Side briefly without succumbing to it would absolutely be in his character. He is a strong willed and pragmatic warrior, yet compassionate and level headed.

I just can't see this happening, obi wan had had to concentrate to so much as move qui gons lightsaber, I can't see him being able to tear parts out of the wall or bring down the ceiling or whatever it was that he did, I just can't see this happening. Also I don't think that maul would kill the jedi, he showed clearly when he fought sidious in canon that he has a full idea of the strength of sidious, he would be fully aware that he needs all the help he can get against sidious, he can always kill the jedi afterwards if he wants to.
Can we get some Original trilogy what ifs?

If anakin is 19 then that would make padme 24. So perhaps there's a chance that padme could be carrying the skywalker twins it's rare but sometimes just one night of love can result in conception. So that means that after ahsoka tano's training by master Qui-gon Jinn is complete both she and master jinn could train the skywalker twins. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.

What if Maul learned nightsifter magic. Having been trained as a sith and Talzin.
I can't see Dooku trying to kill Qui-gon, especially when the entirty of the Sith is fighitng each other nearby. It would be too easy to join with them and then attack the winner of the Sith duel.
For part 2 padme could be pregnant with the skywalker twins luke and leia. Anakin could have been planning to leave the jedi order to marry padme not knowing of her possibly being pregnant. After all just what had padme and anakin been doing at night that made him so tired the next day. Maybe obi-wan kanobi and duchess satine kryze had a secret marriage. With duchess satine giving birth to a force senstive child. Also perhaps thrawn could lead a chiss ascendency infiltration of the crime syndicates, the CIS and the galactic Republic. Although it's up to you to figure out thrawn's end game and how it evolves into the plan for the defeat of the ssi ruu and grysk empires. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.
