  • Qarağandı (Kazakh: Қарағанды) or Karaganda (Russian: Караганда) is a city in Kazakhstan and the administrative capital of Karaganda oblys. It is located 187 km southeast of Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan. Its population was 480,075 in 2013.
After exceeding 600,000 inhabitants in 1989, Karaganda saw its population decrease sharply during the 1990s (a drop of more than -25% between 1989 and 1999), just after the breakup of the Soviet Union. The city's population has been reduced by more than 25% between 1989 and 1999, just after the breakup of the Soviet Union. Almost 300,000 people of European origin left for Russia, Germany or other countries. Karaganda is in 2013 the fourth largest city in Kazakhstan after Almaty, Astana and Chimkent. Kazakhs now make up more than 35% of the population, up from less than 10% in 1989.

Nice. I am working on a personal book where the Axis powers won WWII by writing about every nation in the world. Even though I did all the countries, I am currently editing or adding some things to the first countries that I wrote about. Right now, I have arrived to my fictional country called: ‘Green Movement of Karaganda’

did you consider the facts exposing the lies behind WWII as well? or went on with the old official narrative?

Well, you must know that this is alternate history and I more based myself on the fictional leader of the Green Movement of Karaganda, Erasyl Akhatov. In this alternate timeline he was a Kazakh Kulak (rich peasant) who treated his fellow subordinates well, but his entire Farm and personnel were persecuted by Stalin’s red terror. His farm was burned to the ground and with help of one of his personnel he escaped, being the only survivor. For a few days he walked aimlessly and began to think that communism had doomed him. Eventually he found refuge in an underground base of anti-communist Kazakhs and formed a movement where farming and environmentalism stand central. Eventually as the Nazis and Japanese defeated the USSR (Germany claimed everything west of the Ural Mountains and Ural River and claimed the Ural Mountains themselves, and Japan claimed everything east of the Lena river, the Selene and Baikal Lake) the remaining of the USSR served as a buffer between the 2 superpowers, but is soon fell into 6 (later 7) new factions and one of these is the Green Movement of Karaganda, led by Akhatov.

For sure, I don't work with the national organisation scholarship provider. If you want an admission, there I can help. Try to wait... Anyway, they didn't decide yet.
