It's sad to think that there are thousands of homeless people in the U.S. but still, there are huge abandoned houses just sitting around and left to rot.
Alot of homeless choose that lifestyle unfortunately alot is through addiction this house would need too much repairs for a regular family I agree and it's such a waste I see it in my country people on housing list in Ireland and many perfect houses boarded up makes no sense...

The “Self Esteem” butterfly sticker comes from the clothing line of the same name. It was available in J. C. Penney department stores in the 1990’s. The butterfly logo glitter stickers were part of the label on each item. #funfacts From the front windows and mold, I’d say this house has suffered severe storm damage- explaining the poor condition. The Spanish-style tile visible on the floor from the entrance back toward the kitchen was the height of “in” style in the late 90’s along with the stainless door handles. The laminate built-ins with stainless hardware are also typical of late 1990’s higher end decore; and the rich blue master bath tile would also date from about 1995. The linen closet with the heat lamp was super odd. I have never seen that, and I’ve seen a lot. Unless it’s meant to warm snow jackets before going out or blankets for guests, I cannot understand it. Frankly, the style of the house has a very “Miami Vice” look. You’re in upstate NY, but that home was white everywhere, Spanish floor tile, and Mediterranean tile in the Master Bath - typical of Miami design in the mid to late 90’s.
@SagePeachy I'd love to know what the town building inspector has to say about who lived there, when it was built, why it is disintegrating back into the earth? Built on wetlands? Owned by drug dealers? Mysterious. Thank you for the comments, I was thinking late 60's early 70's due to the intercom system but the relatively new garage door makes sense 1990's.
This house is huge inside I was not expecting it to be like that. Do you ever check the history behind the homes? Bad things went on in the house I have a strong feeling about that.

I know the last video he made of that old farm house he made a return there recently this is what I wish he could have done here at this place if all possible
I wonder if plumbing problems led to so much rot and the collapsed floor? Perhaps it was abandoned by the original owners much further back than 2006 and human traffickers used it as a hideout? Ot must have been a beautiful house when it was new. I love all the storage places and windows.
Crazy thing is toys not that old looking compared to the actual home meaning that children have been kept here in this horrible place, really would like to find out more, hopefully not still being used as a pick up location for abducted children, police should investigate
It's hard to speculate on the history of this house. Everyone seems to have noticed some of the obvious - 'oddities' - such as the many mattresses, and the toys (even their relative condition compared to the rest of the house); the commercial feel of some of the fixtures and furnishings such as switches. Two large 'master's bedrooms'. Padlocks and locks on various doors, seeming to indicate that rooms were locked from the outside. That this is remote and the money obviously invested in it sort of indicate that this being a typical shelter, orphanage, etc is unlikely. But here's what I noticed, and thought as I watched. There was a very institutional feel - like private institution. Toward the beginning of the video, before he got to the kitchen, he panned across two adjoining rooms, and there was a 'window' between them. This reminded me of an institution I worked in which meds were kept in a 'room' about the size of a large closet, and the person administering the meds would hand them out the 'window' to the patients. The one room had shelves in it. The other was a large open room - like a 'rec room'. The bedrooms with single mattresses - seemed dorm like. Each had their own bathrooms. I would not rule out trafficking. But honestly this is more like a privately funded institution. I've worked in them, and in our area we have one that is ran for rich families that want to stash away mentally ill family members (that still happens :( ). Just some thoughts.
You mean if someone is wealthy they can illegally put their mentally ill family away ? In this day in time? Welp I guess If you say you have seen it then it must be true . Just hard to imagine
@@soph5669 yes it is true. It isnt illegal if the person is deemed unstable. And for rich families it would be a taint on their name and lifestyle to have a mentally ill person. Think about the Rosemary Kennedy situation.
I'm thinking maybe a home for unwed mothers incorrigible Wayward teens, kids with mental disabilities their parents don't want to deal with send them to a home out of sight out of mind
@Loren Johnson they wouldn’t put troubled teens or wayward young women in a place with such huge nice windows and amenities. I think it was a normal wealthy family’s vacation home and later squatters did who knows what in there once abandoned. BUT the much newer looking toys and number of mattresses and cots (the wealthy peoples furniture is long gone and they wouldn’t put their weekend guests on cots most likely), are why everyone is thinking the worst. Hopefully it was just squatters with kids.
They had a lot of large houses up there like this built between the 60s to 80s. Either churches, clubs or companies owned them. The ones that lasted past the 80s would be sold to private owners and they rented them out to groups for skiing, camping, or family reunions, etc.
Barbara Zurek I know just sends chills knowing this could possibly be a child trafficking house. All those mattresses and the separation of the rooms. My stomach just cringed when he said someone put a lot of money into this place. 😢
Creepy. Looks like a child porn house a lot of bad things had to of happen there...... Very disturbing. I'd report this location to the FBI. This might be a place to investigate for human trafficking for possible cases that we're solved. It was either a Legit orphanage or a abusive place for children. The city must have some kind of records of this home.
Or maybe a bed and breakfast that went out of business. Hence every bedroom having a bathroom kinda like a hotel. SMH. Or you're right, maybe a child porn house. That sounds much more plausible.
The mattresses may have been added after the house was abandoned- maybe left cause of mold & shoddy work then turned into a party house. Baby may have outgrown bed-- don't think the worse of folks till you know
This house with all the windows and being able to see the trees Outside and nature would have been beautiful... hopefully nothing creepy or child abuse happened there...

I honestly felt weird vibes when you first walked in. The set-up was the first thing that I thought was strange. The mattresses are definitely weird, I find them to be weirder than the amount of toys. Who knows what that place could've been used for, especially since it's in the middle of the woods. I'm really hoping nothing sinister happened there.
There was something going on there that would probably curl your toes ...I think you should call attention to this to the sheriff of this county , district , whatever ...the amount of mold there could give you a permanent lung problem ..get an inexpensive respirator for places like this ...just the seclusion , with all the signs of children raises my hackles ...I think it's very important for authorities to investigate this .
sue eason I agree that it appears that place was used for trafficking. There are children toys and LOTS of beds and TONS of rooms in the woods! It SCREAMS children! They OBVIOUSLY left quickly! Check for fingerprints.
agreed. I cant think of any other reason as to why so many twin beds would be in such a secluded and hidden home and how majority of the belongings found were all children's items.
Maybe because twin beds cost like $60 and queen and kings are 3x to 10x that amount, they left the twin mattresses and box springs but took the larger mattresses- except the two in the most mold over grown rooms? The guy set the scene as being creepy and pointed out the mattresses so now everybody has their panties in a twist. My mom owns a 55,000 sq ft home with 5 rooms that could be bedrooms but only 3 are used as bedrooms as 2 are offices and she has accumulated so many mattresses from adult children moving and her own downsizing and upsizing of homes she probably has like 10 queen size mattresses. That doesn't mean that if she died and someone found her home abandoned with all the mattresses left inside that she was human trafficking...
@@megancasey5122 Ya, but she didn't live right in the middle of a forest and, also...how do you know for sure? I had a house that big once and when I moved I took "everything" with me. Who doesn't? That's pretty much what makes this house so damn creepy.

It was definitely a very cool explore! I am really surprised it could fall into such a state if it's only been empty since 2006(?). Someone did say they thought the place was falling into a sink hole.
YES....! This was indeed a "safe house" for battered women and their children to escape abusive ex-husbands/boyfriends. Its secluded location and relatively close proximity to Canada is also another major clue. My best wishes and prayers for everyone who passed through here; I hope they're finally free of their tormentors.
I was thinking on those lines also. This place had money put into it when it was built and a normal person just doesnt let it go like that. Somebody didnt care. That's the kind of place someone should want to get the history and investigate. The info is out there.
Yeah, same here. I was thinking if not human trafficking then, child pornography. But definitely creepy. I really hope someone finds out the truth. It looks like they sure left in a hurry.
I thought you were exploring some kind of shed like house and it turned out the size of a minor city. 😯 And with some creepy energies right through the screen...
Seems like maybe they renovated to accommodate more people, that would be my guess as to why the front is so cramped and doesn’t match the rich feel of the rest of the home.
Humanity was a mistake This house would cost way to much money 💰 to maintain for ‘homeless’ even before the decaying . Homeless people should only be helped till they get on their feet - never a life time of care .

Hank Bridges In the video they said they found it on google maps, the same way most explorers find places to explore. Also in on what? No facts just conjecture. I’ll admit it’s got some secrets...
Child traffickers don't provide toys. They hold the children for less than 24 hours. They have buyers before they kidnap the children. They couldn't care less about them being happy, comfortable, clean or any other human decency. They are treated worse than shit on the bottom of your boot.
That house was built for somebody with money. You entered by what was obviously the servant's entrance. The first room with the intercom panel was probably the housekeeper's bedroom, next to it, her bathroom and private kitchen like how Alice's bedroom was just off the kitchen in the Brady Bunch house. The built-in sound system, sauna and wine cellar all scream, "money".The furniture and mattresses left behind don't look expensive, but they would have taken their good stuff with them. As for all the beds- that house is very secluded, maybe they would give parties or family celebrations like Christmas and have their guests stay over rather than sending them far away to a hotel. Funny how they never painted the walls and there is no sign of paintings or wall hangings anywhere. Perhaps it was a vacation home, or the family bought a property that was too big for their budget? The child's Playboy bunny hat is creepy, but I don't get the impression that anything disgusting happened there. Some people just have twisted imaginations and like to project darkness where there isn't any. What a waste of an interesting house, I could have done SO MUCH with that.
You know that was my first thought when he walked in there an the hat was sitting there around a bunch of toys.there was much more going on in that house than trafficking I would say.
It would be so amazing if the previous owners saw this and responded.... like you idiots. We were trying to have an amazing bed and breakfast when our accountant stole everything. Or yep we are in jail for human trafficking as that's the reason we had this house. Either way, it would be awesome.
@@megancasey5122 Pfffft. If the owners WERE responsible for having this house be a part of child sex trafficking, I don't think they'd put themselves on blast on RUclips.
I find it weird that so many people jump to conclusions that this was linked to pedophile rings, child pornography or human trafficking, just because there were toys and mattresses around. Almost every abandoned house has mattresses in weird places, because homeless people move in. If this was abandoned in 2006, I figure many people must've moved in and out of this house in 14 years. It's not hard to imagine that one child in a house this big would've left his toys everywhere. There are so many possibilities...
No, homeless ppl dont carry a huge mattress that far into the forest thst many times. Those had to be brought in by an organized money making outfit...like drug dealers n porn filmers.
I know. It could be safe house for moms and kids, the crib could just be stored in the basement. Could be a polygamist family, cult, orphanage, pregnant teens? So many things that it's odd to just jump to child porn. Not saying bad things didn't happen there and leave creepy vibes.
Agree. Could have been a group home or had lots of fosters etc. people just want to creep themselves out. My first thought was a large foster group home, possibly for kids with special needs to be taught basic tasks like cooking, cleaning and being able to function semi independently. There are good people who run homes like that so that the children are more adoptable or can live with roommates and hold remedial jobs when they age out of foster care
I really don't wanna think the worse but there padlocks on the doors that lock on the Outside it's Secluded and there Toys and Mattresses but no Pictures of Families like most abandoned houses so this is probably a Mental Hospital but why is there Alcohol and Wine it's so huge I don't know and it's close to New York City this place is suspect but I could be wrong
That place was very strange. Too many hallways with doors. The rooms had no character to them. Like white boxes all stuck together. All the mattresses and the toys was weird too. Who knows what went on there in a "HOUSE" in the woods. It could have been a place where they had kidnapped kids used in human trafficking, or a place where women and kids lived who were running away from the men in their lives, like a woman's shelter. It didn't really seem like a family lived there. It was some kind of an institution of some sort, good or bad.
Upon seeing this video my heart is in great pain.. Especially the crib that had a board on top of it. Poor little angels that had suffered in this house This house looks like for human trafficking..
That is what i thought too but now i read the comments it worries me what all happened in this building. With that idea on my mind i wouldn't wanna live in it😖
@Gerdien Plomp I imagine it was a normal vacation house for a wealthy family who vacated before all of those mattresses and cots and toys were brought in. No one would have such a nice expensive home and put their guests on those type of cots. An abandoned house of this size and this secluded could easily be chosen from a second nefarious group... if our creeped out suspicions are close to true...
Horrible conditions. You guys take some chances, but those of us who enjoy seeing abandoned homes appreciate your effort to go explore these places. This was once one hell of a house! Must have been beautiful at one time. Thanks for sharing with us.
As a contractor I was thinking the same thing, that is definitely more than 13 yrs of damage. Makes you wonder if it was abandoned long before that and somebody was squatting there and that's their calendar.
I know there's a million and one reasons why houses end up this way but I will never understand how something this awesome and secluded ends up going this route ? Wish we knew back stories.
It's so massive right!!! I lost count of how many rooms their were but it also looked very high tech and modern for that era so it must have been built by some wealthy people!
Obviously 😒 but for the time that it would have been built (probably 20+ years ago!) The tech which is built into the home is actually quite good quality and wouldn't have been affordable or accessible to other people! It's been empty 13 years but looks like it was built many years before that due to the appliances. The inbuilt speakers and lights would have been VERY modern and expensive for back then is what I mean 🤦
*_+JPVideos_* So, this is just a theory, as everyone has had one, and I don't wish to dismiss anyone's "creep feels" about the place, but here it is: It _could_ have been some kind of vacation rental retreat, Bed & Breakfast sort of set-up, and/or meant for multiple people groups, family reunion style guests, or friend groups, etc., who wanted to spend a week or more away from civilization and hustle and bustle, while not really giving up the comforts of a modern and nice place to stay. Peaceful, or at the least, mostly private and secluded. What could have been the ultimate downfall was that black mold began inside the walls, eventually working its way outward. Literally eating away the house, and contaminating everything inside of it. People may have actually gotten sick, and it could have caused inspections and investigations. I will also say that it has to be the strangest architectural floor plan design I have ever seen. Really odd. Poorly built? It appeared to me that many of the ceilings, walls, floors, appliances and fixtures were intentionally torn out and perhaps documented for insurance and/or lawsuit inspections. It seemed methodical in certain areas where the black mold was most likely to be found in walls, floors, ceilings, etc. It just seems too strange that some places were torn out that way. For what purpose? All of that mold is also a very good reason for you adventurous explorers to wear protective gear (gloves, suits, breathing protection). Just looking out for you! ;) Most of the things left behind and abandoned, as well as more things that I wonder what they ultimately did with, such as bedding, sheets, pillows, curtains, etc. None could ever be "cleaned up" and reused anywhere else, just like all the mattresses, etc.-- _and_ those things are very expensive to be disposed of, just call your local landfill to see. Naturally, many people may say that all of the damage, decay and mold came _after_ the abandonment of the dwelling, and of course that is absolutely possible. But it is also possible that it began when occupied, ultimately caused the abandonment of the business venture, or whatever it was called. Black mold slowly sickens or kills people in nice homes in the middle of towns or in the city. It is not so far of a reach to expect it could happen in such an isolated area, especially if conditions are always humid. So, that is just a more "sanitized" and different type of _disgusting_ theory that looks in a different direction from a more sinister and nefarious explanation. It is not out of the realm of possibility that it was used for one or more of the horrific hypotheses posted. I just thought I'd share a different point of view, even if it does not carry any of the creepy feelings with it. More just "icky" in another way. Thanks for sharing your adventure and discovery. What an adventurous job (or hobby?)! Be safe out there! Thanks for letting me share one possibility of a different sort. ~Peace!
I agree with you. This place is like a business with commercial fixtures and lighting. To be honest, it looks like one of those fancy drug treatment centers you would find in California. Too many communal areas. I bet it looked nice when it was built. Maybe it was a home for pregnant teens.
Thank u. My husband and I deal with eviction and repair. I was saying that u nvr know why a house had to be abandoned. And mattresses are often the first thing people leave.
The numbers written on the bathrooms one had 1 - 3, another said 8 - 10, makes me think it was assigned bathrooms to rooms. Treatment center (my home town has one that is a historic home that is mom's with kids) or group home that was converted from a private home, which is why I think it has some of the really nice fixtures like the cigar humidor and expensive bathroom with a bidet.
I agree, and to add, the numbers you see written on the walls was probably written by insurance adjusters so they can identify which walls were in which rooms. It certainly looks like black mold devoured this building. Could have been part of the "sick house syndrome". Which was soon to become a great epidemic in American building. I estimate this house was built in the 60's, judging from the central vac, the central stereo system and the prairie style windows.
Jp to me this house looks more like safe house for mother's and kids I think you didn't notice the numbers on the wall the first floor have 1-01 true 1-15 and then when you got to the base it was B-01 true B-05 so each room had a number on the wall if you check the video you will see what am taking about I like your videos
DustyRose that's what I think it was a group home of some kind. When I was a kid these were common it would explain all the kids toys and mattreses as counselors would live in these facilities the state would pay them to house children and run these places.
A group home? Really?! With those klegal lights used for filming in one of those rooms. He didn't comment on them. And a wine cellar and liquor storage room. The liquor stickers on the door were the kinds of liquor they had in house. In a group home? I think there are videos floating around today filmed in this location. And the individual soaps like you'd find in a hotel. This place spoke of lots of sick sh__. And plenty of abused kids connected to this hideaway. Sad, sad, sad.

Tiles for Mosaic art. The Windows maybe copper? Other then that it should be taken down unless it can't be for some reason. Scrap too from the appliances. It would be interesting to know who the original owners were. Maybe they defaulted on the house payment and walked away. But it looks like someone has Vanished out of sight. And it's probably been used by many ppl over the years all for various reasons.
That's what I was thinking. That place was private for a reason. Way too many different little private spaces and rooms that do seem to fit into a normal functioning home. Excellent video. Very interesting.
Yep. And who needs a basement like that? I didn't like the vibes of the place either, and felt sick to my stomach when I saw the crib. Truly hope its not as it feels. And the house is really away from the city i will never stay with that kind of place even though it is huge and beautiful not unless im hiding something or doing something illegal
honestly , right away I got a very creepy vibe when I saw the first five mattresses stacked up in the garage , then you see 15 more mattresses , then you put it together with all those children's toys everywhere and you'd think it could be an orphanage but what makes me believe it's more sinister is that it's way deep in the woods secluded and that the place is a shambles ... maybe someone tried to destroy evidences or something ... if you just put it all together it wreaks of child sex trafficking or some sort of business making money off of kids , even selling them perhaps . I have studied a lot about child sex trafficking and advocacy against it and all the places that keep these children or teens are just like this... huge monied properties with toys and secluded either in woods or underground . They usually end up abandoned.. you gotta wonder where the heck all those children went ( with those 20 mattresses there were a lot of people there) if they all just up and left that place ... very creepy , I feel for sure there was some deviant activity there ...
Someone said it looked to be a playboy on the pink hat. I took a screenshot and blew it up and that's exactly what it is. This is so sad.. I hope I'm wrong and it's a womans hat. But come on there are so many toys and mattresses
Christan Cook I saw that! And funny you did that because I did the same exact thing ! Took a screenshot . Yeah I agree with you and it's sad if you put it all together ...
There also locks on the doors that lock from the Outside if this was a Safe Haven what's with the Wine Cellar and the Camera Lights there like one Crib you think there be more Cribs of it was a Orphanage don't they have a sign and like this location mad remote everything doesn't add up Im really trying to Rationalize the purpose of this place but I'm left with ❓❓❓
This house is creepy and one of the ugliest ones I’ve seen, it gives me the creeps. I wouldn’t have liked it brand new it’s really weird. thank you for the video you did a great job. Be safe 🤯
I wonder why so many of the doors have dead bolt locks on them, especially for a residential home. Looks like they also had a security intercom system too. Wonder what the city records show. Thanks for the video.
@@marilyn8682 that's true but it's in the middle of the woods so there probably be no place to go to if you did escape that's if something evil was happening here
@@jasoncarskadon6809 All I know is that if it were a motel then there's no way an insurance company would've let them be opened for business without a balcony upstairs, or that door couldn't be there. Too dangerous, especially if there's kids around. It definitely wouldn't make it through even one inspection. It would've needed a way out from upstairs if there was a fire, or some other kind of emergency. It'd be interesting to find out what the area is zoned for.
i am a home rehabber and go into houses like this all the time. this one is pretty typical. wait til you find a closet with fingerpainting about as high as a 7 year old could reach all done in feces. ive seen it twice in kansas city, the last was flowers painted in poop wich suggest the artist was in there for a long time. it gets pretty horrifying at times......
it looks like at one time back in the day that house was a really nice house but due to the size of it and all the rooms and the mattresses it looks like a cult owned or something like the Branch davidian you know like David koresh type of stuff
I wonder if there was some type of flood or natural disaster that occurred nearby to make the floors so bad in such a short time considering the roof was metal water had to have gotten in some other way. Great video! I love watching these types of videos it always makes me wonder why the owners left?
I was thinking flood too, I noticed on at least one wall it looked like a water mark about a quarter of the way up, but I don't know, it seems that something major happened for it to decay so fast. JP has video a lot older homes that were in a lot better shape than this one, :)
Annette Moreau it looks like most of the plumbing has been scavenged from the house for copper. If it’s well or artesian water, the water would continue to flow when the pipes were cut. 13 years of abandonment do not bring that kind of rot. With a metal roof in place it should have dated dry inside so I’m betting this is water intrusion due to cut plumbing. Even in in some of the bathrooms, there were no faucet sets, toilets ripped from the walls-
I agree. I don't think this channel spends much time going into that stuff. Much of it is online and once you know the owners you can search the papers etc. I've actually looked up the owners of a few videos he's done and in 1 I found he was a millionaire scam artists with a cult following and fake doctorates with earnings of $50,000 per city he would go through giving speaking engagements etc. It would make these videos a hundred times more interesting.
Has anyone found the address or location of this house? I'd like to see how far off the road it is. To me, I see something someone built in the mid 80s, early 90s. It's a custom home, so someone built it from their dream home idea and might have been successful, maybe even the home claims much of the land around it. Big houses of wealth can often have a long private road up to it. If this person was successful in the 80s, had a family, that family became teenagers and school was kind of an ordeal to get to everyday, they had multiple generations, and then in 2006 just before the housing economy took a dive in 2008, they may have decided it was not viable anymore. The problem with building your dream home in the woods is that mold, moisture, and accessibility all become too much. The "newer" looking toys were all very popular in that time, but those kids have to be adults now. I hesitate to get on board with this sex trafficking fear everyone has because of the uniqueness of the layout, and all the tropes of a mother in law's suite downstairs. I've seen houses with basements like that, and I have seen a lot of home saunas and none of them meant anything horrible. Twenty mattresses? Ten beds, ten mattresses, ten box springs. A lot of people get new ones when they move to not bring bugs with them. Anyway, public records will set it straight. If it was trafficking, there's a police report. If not, real estate records will have better answers.
This was probably very nice at one time. I love Mid Centry Modern homes. They are artsy and strange. Seems like this was used as a Group home possibly.
Maybe that was a secret location for sex trafficking. I live in Pennsylvania and my friends and I like to explore abandoned houses also, and red flags always go up for us also when we see houses full of mattresses.
I love how literally every explorer tries the switches knowing the light or whatever it's from does not work 😂 Well but this place gives me a strange vibe. 20+ mattresses? House placed in the middle of a forest? Kidnapping??? Yes they had a sauna and other nice stuff but that does not mean they couldn't keep children/people there...uuuugh
You can't help but wonder if the place was used for holding children. SRA is real and there are thousands of children being ritually sacrificed. Why would there be so many beds and I saw more than one baby bed frame. Scary place. I have heard so many stories from SRA victims who have survived. God bless and always be careful cause you really don't know what you might find.
Some of the toys were so clean like someone had recently brought them there to play with. Even the pink hat with the playboy bunny was clean. If those toys and hat were there for all those years they would have mold on them and look dirty.
Hope you enjoyed this abandoned adventure. What do you think took place here? Leave your thoughts.

Never was owned by any person, but was financed by a investments corporation and assigned for use for the return of investment from MGM studios. This structure was used ofr numerous movies. One I watched recently was made I believe in 1958 (and shockingly this is a 1950s structure along with its features. The last movie that showed parts taken in this structure starred Walter Mathau portraying the role of a an black mailing a man that was cheating on his wife. Those mattresses are where filming camera staff as well as some of the actors could freshen up,being just 30 minutes of a one and a half hour movie can consist of 30 days. MGM investors didnt care about the 250K spent on that when their return for just one movie brought them an entire 50 million dollars based on some 30% earning for their share. The toys scattered about? Simply people living there illegally No paint on the exterior? Because MGM didnt want to attract attention and during the movies that were made the stars and filming took place in homes in other areas that were leased. Now you know the stor. Many of these are located under ground in whats called area 51 and the UFO is a hoax only to keep people out and to make them believe its military based property. The dick van dyke show is one of may that were filmed in area 51 and above ground but covered by military tin buidings. From the front windows and mold, I’d say this house has suffered severe storm damage- explaining the poor condition.
Thanks for the fucking history lesson lmao (but actually thanks I wouldn't have noticed that unless you pointed it out)😂

@SagePeachy I'd love to know what the town building inspector has to say about who lived there, when it was built, why it is disintegrating back into the earth? Built on wetlands? I wonder if plumbing problems led to so much rot and the collapsed floor? Perhaps it was abandoned by the original owners much further back than 2006 and human traffickers used it as a hideout? Ot must have been a beautiful house when it was new. I love all the storage places and windows.

Yeah that Elmo toy looks really new
Toys also typically have dates on them
I thought the same toys look really new
It's hard to speculate on the history of this house.
The number of mattresses and the remote location, I'm thinking religious cult. With a wealthy leader or benefactor.
You mean if someone is wealthy they can illegally put their mentally ill family away ? In this day in time? Welp I guess If you say you have seen it then it must be true . Just hard to imagine
@@soph5669 actually nothing is hard to believe anymore
@@soph5669 yes it is true. It isnt illegal if the person is deemed unstable. And for rich families it would be a taint on their name and lifestyle to have a mentally ill person. Think about the Rosemary Kennedy situation.
The problem with the institution theory ... do they usually have a wine and liquor storage?
Given how much money this place would of cost I am intrigued as to what the ACTUAL history of it is.
Yeah me too☺
I'm thinking maybe a home for unwed mothers incorrigible Wayward teens, kids with mental disabilities their parents don't want to deal with send them to a home out of sight out of mind
Looks like a human trafficking house. Many rooms they had to leave in a hurry. This is just crazy!
My First thought too.

Barbara Zurek I know just sends chills knowing this could possibly be a child trafficking house. All those mattresses and the separation of the rooms. My stomach just cringed when he said someone put a lot of money into this place. 😢
Most of the toys were newer as well. Most had not been there to deteriorate nearly as long as most items throughout the house.
The FBI is the pedophiles sadly. They know. They would just cover it up
Or maybe a bed and breakfast that went out of business.

They've found something like this south of us/ phoenix and one in new mexico. Human trafficking babies and children.
I'm really perplexed about this place,. With everything going on these days you have to wonder if this place was used for human trafficking.

Can you get the address and let your audience do research on who owned that place?
I thought the exact same thing
Michelle Thorson Maybe the people that did the vid. was in on it. How did they find it?
Hank Bridges In the video they said they found it on google maps, the same way most explorers find places to explore. Also in on what? No facts just conjecture.
I’ll admit it’s got some secrets...
Child traffickers don't provide toys. They hold the children for less than 24 hours. They have buyers before they kidnap the children. They couldn't care less about them being happy, comfortable, clean or any other human decency. They are treated worse than shit on the bottom of your boot.
Maybe orphanage, nursing homes or clinic before.
I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, that you know what a Polly Pocket is!!!! :)
Thats what having a daughter taught me lol
He is a big guy and knowing what Polly Pocket is kinda funny to hear but as he explained he has a daughter. It sounds like he is a very hands-on Dad .
Deena K - my daughter had a few also 🙂
That is exactly what I thought!!!! I had to smile when he said it, lol, I'm glad I'm not the only one who made that observation.
it's a girls nick name here in tx. and her bands name.
The amount of decay is insane! That looks like it was a fairly modern house. I bet it looked amazing when it was brand new.
Ditto
You can tell from the intercom system and built in stereo systems it was built 60s or 70s
The creepy part is the Playboy Bunny hat in the room with most of the children's items. WTF?
You know that was my first thought when he walked in there an the hat was sitting there around a bunch of toys.there was much more going on in that house than trafficking I would say.
@@frankieadams1714 I thought the hat looked new. It was so clean.
I had one of those playboy hats/visors when I was like 13....
....and any, other, Hat, is a "Pimp" Hat, i reckon. When you are a Kid, it is just a Damn Hat. Good Grief.
I've had playboy bunny makeup and trainers and all sorts since I was 13, playboy doesn't automatically mean foul play
You guys should wear masks for mold and dust when going to abandon places, kool videos btw👍🏼
yeah but I would wear something like a gas mask
I found this place very disturbing..
This house was so amazing! I really want the blueprints! I would love to know the story behind who built it and why it was abandoned.
Imagine if the last person to have lived here happened to see this video
That's what I thought lol
I actually saw a video a few months ago where that happened.
Heidi S , same here 🙂
It would be so amazing if the previous owners saw this and responded.... like you idiots.
My impression is it was a place for sex slavery for wealthy people.
There were a lot of mattresses
that's what I was thinking are maybe other bad things..
That is what it looks like A Crawford Boy. That would explain the mattesses and hidden location, as well as being abandoned.
I would love to know the history on that place! Great video!
@@HelloNewMoon with sauna and a wine cava? You guys are too naive!
My thoughts as well about human trafficking.
@@juliaannegrider5734 Yes.
@Giaya Rhea Evil people don't usually leave evidence of who they are. It was a creepy building hidden away in the woods. Don't know who owned it.
@Giaya Rhea Yes they hoped to keep their presence a secret. They can't hide everything though. Always signs can be found.
Did have a haunting feel about it. Crib made me sad. Deck & big windows were great. Please be careful around mold. Look forward to all your finds!
Upon seeing this video my heart is in great pain..
Especially the crib that had a board on top of it. Poor little angels that had suffered in this house
This house looks like for human trafficking..
@Tara Rae How do you know that?
I know why it was abandoned. The owners were sick of getting lost in there!
Hahahs true
How sad to see such a beautiful home falling apart like that.
jackybaby1999 🙂👍
That is what i thought too but now i read the comments it worries me what all happened in this building. With that idea on my mind i wouldn't wanna live in it😖
Come in 2 an abandoned house. There is a guy already in there?
They work together doing these videos.
Amazes me how decrepit a house can get in just 13 years! Wow.
Seriously. This one was bad
As a contractor I was thinking the same thing, that is definitely more than 13 yrs of damage. Makes you wonder if it was abandoned long before that and somebody was squatting there and that's their calendar.
I know I was thinking the same thing..Poor workmanship or it was never maintained through out the years.
JPVideos The builders didn't build it right for me. I had 30 kids there. They're buried in the back. So, go find them! 😂
Hank Bridges you’re sick
I know there's a million and one reasons why houses end up this way but I will never understand how something this awesome and secluded ends up going this route ? Wish we knew back stories.
That's a huge, strangely laid out house. I would spend all of my time on the deck. Reminded me of a treehouse hideaway.
Very secluded so anything could of taken place here
It's so massive right!!! I lost count of how many rooms their were but it also looked very high tech and modern for that era so it must have been built by some wealthy people!
Elle Nightingale era? It’s only been empty a decade lol
Way TOO MANY DOORS 4 my liking, just saying
The room u thought was a wine cellar was a humidor for cigars
*_+JPVideos_*
So, this is just a theory, as everyone has had one, and I don't wish to dismiss anyone's "creep feels" about the place, but here it is:
It _could_ have been some kind of vacation rental retreat, Bed & Breakfast sort of set-up, and/or meant for multiple people groups, family reunion style guests, or friend groups, etc., who wanted to spend a week or more away from civilization and hustle and bustle, while not really giving up the comforts of a modern and nice place to stay.
Maybe certain walls were ripped out because money was stashed in those walls. Not uncommon for illegal activity.
What about the spotlights/light rigs in the basement?
It looks like the house was set up to be a group home, half way house or a refuge house.

Just first impressions it looks like a professional building, instead of a house.
Just a guess, but the fact that this is so secluded, and the size, etc... all adds up to probably being a women's/children's shelter for domestic violence.

Looks like a trafficking house. Creepy alright.
The intro though. Gave me chills, especially because it's a child's voice

Yes thats also what i am thinking it involves kids or young boys and girls oh my
And the house is really away from the city i will never stay with that kind of place even though it is huge and beautiful not unless im hiding something or doing something illegal
honestly , right away I got a very creepy vibe when I saw the first five mattresses stacked up in the garage , then you see 15 more mattresses , then you put it together with all those children's toys everywhere and you'd think it could be an orphanage but what makes me believe it's more sinister is that it's way deep in the woods secluded and that the place is a shambles ... maybe someone tried to destroy evidences or something ... if you just put it all together it wreaks of child sex trafficking or some sort of business making money off of kids , even selling them perhaps .

Thanks for sharing your thoughts

@@MzClementine, need more specific info than "the Catskills" to do that. Why didn't he give a more exact location?
Looks like human traffic, breeder house.
And possibly kiddie porn. Very creepy
If walls could talk, huh?
