One thing I always have is a bit of rubber fuel pipe after watching my mates carb fuel pipe split after it went brittle. The carb mount is a good idea as well.
Full set of cables. Oil. Spare carb rubber. Spare plug and cable ties. Spare bulbs. 2:06 And a few tools. Anything else is usually not fixable at road side so no point carrying it for me if it can’t be done with basic tools.
With all the modern new parts out on the market, scooters should be as reliable as modern motorcycles. The only tools I take on the bike are what came with it. I should say I'm only on a 15bhp 240 RT and I bimble more than I thrash 😎
I lost my tool roll riding on the 10 freeway here in LA, and I only carry 10mm, 11mm and 13mm spanners in my backpack. If going somewhere and not just riding locally I try to carry: 1 spare gear cable, one clutch cable, one throttle cable (all inners), one carb rubber mount for TMX 35, spare exhaust gasket and nuts. If on a long journey I bring a spare piston and a spare inner tube, just in case. And a spare side cover gasket. It wouldn't hurt to bring a spare set of reeds, either. My tool roll typically had 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 17mm spanners and sockets, a large crescent wrench, spring puller, multi screwdriver, 8mm and 7mm nut drivers, ratcheting 1/4 and 3/8 drives, 3rd hand tool, wire stripper / crimper, rear hub puller, flywheel puller, prop stand, spare hardware, throttle nipple, trunnions for clutch and gear cables, wire ties, electrical tape, full Allen key set, and from now on a hammer! :)
Virtually everything that you guys pack I pack, when on the T5 but as I'm using tubed tyres I carry a spare inner tube and a spare wheel ....always go with the mindset that I don't want to be sat at the side of the road if its something that can be fixed !
I did carry a few to many tools a few years ago. A small furnace, Anvil, Selection of hammers, Pillar drill and a Bow saw did take some time to load safely. Pulling up on a ESSO garage forecourt and firing up the furnace to remanufacture a bent con rod didn't go down to well either. It was the only dry undercover place for miles though.

You are so right but you know what people are like and some of them don’t maintain their scooters just like back in the 80’s 😂😂☹️👍🍺
Very good video this lads thanks ...I tend to carry far too much that tbh I would never use ...apart from the spare pants 😁
Recovery service is all ya really need, then can have a few beers lol 😂🍻🍻

@@shedtune81 along with his big blunt screwdriver that doubles as a chisel, crowbar, tyre lever, spring compressor and fire pit poker.
Jam doughnuts
I find the beer squashes them in the toolbox, but once you have drunk lots of beer you don’t care anymore lol 😂
Doughnuts over beer for me, not that it shows 😬
A spare tested stator, an extra pick up, a small gas soldering iron and solder, etc. I could go on but you'd go to sleep.🛵
