I know it just a visual comparison and simply “eyeballing it” from old videos but Nolan Ryan must have been consistently over 100mph as measured today.
@@SonicCollectionsPS2Noisesz What 20minutes forgot to mention is that Kirby had the lowest walk rate in the majors with 0.9 per 9 innings which has not been done since 1950. Not gonna say he is guaranteed a Cy Young but as he matures he will definitely be one of the most dangerous pitchers in the league.
Dane Dunnings fastest pitch was 94 mph, yet he pitched the most innings for the Rangers and had a 3.7 ERA.
Ryu throwing 91 between 99 100s is a pure humor
MLB the show needs to see this. Instead of giving everyone and their grandmother the ability to throw 103

you forgot 00 mph at 4:06
@@JaredGoofball that pitch was 98 MPH it was just a technical error
@@anonymousperson7337 oh really!
Has anyone noticed the broadcast error on the pitch speed at 4:10 😂
thats very weird!
4:06 a nice 00 mph pitch
Sale still being able to throw 96+ is an amazing sign
Bobby Witt shows up in this video at least 5 times

No doubt. Pretty sure velo now is measured right out of the pitchers hand (at its peak velocity)
He was regularly touching 98 mph in his final season as a 46-year-old, there’s no way prime Angels Nolan wasn’t easily sitting 102-105
What about Triston mckenzie
No DeGrom?
there were only two hits in this video. pitchers should consider throwing harder so they let up less hits
and injure themselves more? the speeds pitchers throw at are already at the human limit. at some point, they start breaking down. just look at degrom.
@@XTreme-ko9dwi was fully joking when i said this
@@johnlilly680 oh lol.
No Marco Gonzalez??
Only threw 50 innings due to his flexor strain
@@MLBPitching37 dawg the people want to see that 89.4 mph 4-seamer in here!

all im gonna say is if kirby ever starts hitting that kind of velo consistently, the AL cy young race is over

Only threw 33.1 innings

Bro forgot the literal cy young winner 💀
He showed Gerritt Cole
what are you talking about all 3 cy young finalists are on there
Gray is wining the award
@@kingastro3667he showed Cole but I have a hard time believing his fastest pitch was 100. Could’ve sworn he threw a 101 at some point no?
@@bigpictureguys8415 Nah he rarely got up to 100 or over. Was consistently throwing 97-98.
