As usual, I really like your take here. Your emphasis on having peace tied to Christ alone is of course of the essence. I trust Jesus paid the price for my sins. My fear is that sometimes I doubt as I've had friends betray me and Satan works into my mind and tells me that God will reject me, too, even though I believe.
Never project onto God the traits of fallen man. People can and will hurt you, let you down, betray you, not come through, etc, but none of that should ever reflect on a perfect, holy, loving God. Get with God in prayer and His Word and let Him refresh your perspective. God bless!
From time to time i struggle with this because i get thoughts of when the holy spirit drew you that morning you believed on the Lord Jesus to save you asking him to save you, no i didnt doubt that he could and during that moment expressing to the Lord Jesus that i believed in his birth, death on the cross, what he did for me on the cross shedding his blood and dying and rising again the third day that god almighty raised him from the dead and felt such peace and joy and love, but get a feeling or thought that im not saved, almost thinking well i didn't say the right thing or something but its not about that i know, i know satan wants us to doubt especially as im praying and believing for my childrens salvation and other things in my life, he'll come at you hard.
We're saved by faith, not how we feel. If your children don't feel like they're your children, are they still? Of course, and we are the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus (Gal 3:26, John 1:12-13). We walk by faith, not by sight (or feelings, emotions, fear, etc. 2 Cor 5:7). If satan/the demonic can get you feeling a certain way, they can usually manipulate you into doubt, fear, depression, etc. performance, you'll always have room for doubt. When your eyes are set on Jesus, you'll have no fear because you know that He did it all. Stand on the objective truth of God's Word, and not the subjective experiences/thoughts/feelings/emotions we can all have. HE did it for us. We trust in that. That's the gospel (1 Cor 15:1-4). God bless!
Thank you brother for this wonderful message. God bless you. Can you make videos about the 1000 years reign on earth, second coming of Christ. Is it for us gentiles or the Jews. I am really confused on this topic. Thank you❤
I'll do something like that at some point, but in short all saved people will be with Jesus during His reign on earth for the millenium. People who survived the tribulation in faith will populate the world at that time, and we'll be in our new (glorified) bodies.
What if you don't believe in progressive sanctification, but you do believe the Gospel; but continue as (for example) as a mafia hit man, involved in trafficking, and you pay no attention to the Holy Spirit trying to change your character, or convict you of sin, righteousness and judgement. Would such a person be guaranteed salvation, regardless of his lifestyle?
Salvation is a gift (eph2:8-9, rom 6:23), and God never revoked His gifts (rom 11:29). He gives us a new heart with new and right desires (ezk 36:26), and the Holy Spirit to help us, but we still Have to choose to follow Him. David had a man murdered after he took the guys wife, Solomon built pagan shrines and burnt incense on them (1 kings 11:1-13), etc. they never lost their salvation. If your bad works cost you salvation, you would be saved by good works. We’re saved by believing the gospel, not of works (eph 2:8-9). Bad works bring consequence, loss of rewards, punishment, etc.
When you become a believer in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit will be dwelling in you and will make you more sensitive to the sins you commit and probably didn't care about before knowing the Lord. It could make you think you're a worse person than before. No, that is a lie the enemy could feed you. Instead of focusing on what you SHOULD NOT DO, focus on what you SHOULD DO. Follow Paul's advice (Galatians 5:22-23 and Phil. 4:4-8) or just yield to the urges of the Holy Spirit. God's power in your life did not stop at the moment you believe in Christ. You have to stop living in sin and repent to him and ask for forgiveness of your sins. Without hollyness noone will see God. You cannot say that you are saved and then do whatever you want (sin) and proclaim rigteusness and Jesus. We cannot be hypochrytes. Imagine now you are going to drink, gamble, fornicate...etc. and then you claim that you are saved by continuing to do so till the day of your death or rapture. You will have rude awakening in eternity when he says to you depart from me because i never knew you you worker of iniquity and you will go to hell. So if you do not stop living in sin and ask for forgiveness this is the final judgment for all those who refuse to accept Jesus and his call. Wake up.
He says that to the people who think they can somehow stop sinning and need to in order to get to Him. Those who simply believe the gospel that Jesus paid it all will not have the desire to sin. Stop putting the cart before the horse.
You live ignorantly. You did not receive your full salvation yet, but you have to receive Jesus and his Holly Spirit to be marked untill the day of redemption. There is no such a thing as faith alone that saves people, but in Ephensians it says that we are saved by grace through faith, not of our works so that noone can boost because we are created in Christ Jesus to do good works that God predestined for us to do. So if you do not forsake sin today and turn to God and live according to the scripture you will not receive salvation neither you will be raptured because Jesus Christ is coming for a pure and spottless bride and nothing unclean will enter heaven.
I’m glad that you have it all together and don’t have ANY sin in you. Because ALL sin is offensive to God. Perhaps you should do a study on salvation vs discipleship.
@@NeighborhoodStreetrat Their spirit does not have the desire to sin because it doesn’t sin however our flesh does desire sin which it does. Paul makes this clear in his teachings…this is why we are encouraged to crucify the flesh daily and live by the spirit. Jesus is our advocate when we sin as believers. We are sealed with the Holy Spirt promise until the day of redemption.

I need to hear from you in the gospel everyday, you explain in a way i understand, please consider doing a part everyday 🙏🕊️🩷
Haha thanks, I'm trying!
Wake up.
Depart from me I never knew you is talking to the unbelievers….

Their spirit does not have the desire to sin because it doesn’t sin however our flesh does desire sin which it does. Paul makes this clear in his teachings…this is why we are encouraged to crucify the flesh daily and live by the spirit. Jesus is our advocate when we sin as believers. We are sealed with the Holy Spirt promise until the day of redemption.
