    you are making your workflow way harder than you need to.
    if you select by drawing the box form left then you only select stuff that are whole in the selection box, which eliminates the need to select all tiny vectors one by one like you do it here.
    instead of groups you should use blocks and edit block in place command. you don't need to group/ungroup all the time and it shows you other elements in the drawing at the same time. You don't need to go through defining blocks, just control shift+c to copy with chosen point and copy shift+V t paste new block with chosen point. Using blocks also let's separate and edit blocks without all the extra noise of snaps and qiuckens computing.
    filter command is way better than quick select and I suggest everybody learns it, because it does waht quick select does but better with more features - like having multiple filters at the same time and picking properties straight from objects in the drawing.

      Awesome tips, thank you so much! We didn't know about the filter command, so we'll definitely check that out. We had planned to show the use of blocks in a separate video, as they can indeed save a lot of time
