Hi, I’m very new to illustrator. To put that color palette and patterns in my drawing file I underneath the art board I’m about to work on, I would just copy and paste them in the drawing? Instead of just dropping them in the swatches panel? I assume it’s better way to have them under the art board and just using the eye dropper tool to quickly select what color I need. The swatches panel is so tiny, this seems like a much easier way to go about it.
Hi there! We also find the swatches panel way too tiny to work with. Just like you said, we just copy and paste the colors we'll use under the artboard. We have many step-by-step Illustrator tutorials to speed up your learning process, highly recommend that you check them out!
Hi there! If you open the tool’s options (by doube-clicking the eyedropper icon the toolbar), you’ll see a window with check boxes. Check the two ‘Appearance’ options on top. This should enable you to apply pattern swatches. Hope this helps!

We're so glad that you liked it 🥰
