Kieran is the first rival in pokemon who I genuinely want to not loose to, and want to pull out all of the stops for. Not because he's some evil villain, but because he feels like an actual rival.

I had the most COCKY ASS GRIN on my face during the battle against Kieran and I won with JUST my Galvantula left, definitely felt like I had earned that victory
I felt bad for him when I battled him because he managed to only K.O one pokemon with his Hydrapple and the whole battle was just a cakewalk for me. (Buddy put up rain infront of my Archaludon with the damp rock)

@@thomasrobertson3630I'd imagine he has very mixed emotions of both love,hate and respect for the player. The player is what made him this way.
If Kieran’s highest level Pokémon was 76, after clearing the main story before entering Kitakami, then imagine his team at Blueberry Academy might be somewhere around level 80’s at best. There’s possibly a shot of him even being in level range similarly to Red’s team in hgss or Cynthia’s rematch team in bdsp.
I'm starting to think that in this DLC we will have the first ever fight against a level 100 without counting Battle facilities. It may be Kieran, may be Terapagos, or maybe even battles post DLC.
The people who got access to the preview were given a team competitively built level 88s for Amarys with the warning that they might still lose. And bare in mind Blueberry Academy is a doubles focused environment. This might just go beyond BDSP Rematch Cynthia tier!

Then, remember that Kieran will be the champion, so he must be a bunch of levels above Drayton. *Then,* remember that Kieran won't be the final boss, it will probably be Terapagos, who must be a few levels above Kieran.
Yeah, I think we are getting a fight against a Pokemon maybe as strong as Ultra Necrozma but at level 100 so we can't surpass him, and probably inmune to status like other bosses in the games because Gamefreak has been improving a lot this bossfights over time.

If you pay attention to Kieran’s attire, he was wearing a tie under his jacket in the Teal Mask, and now in the indigo disk, he’s wearing a tank top.
I think that is the league uniform. He’s just wearing his blazer/jacket over it. Poor dude must be freezing.
This is a bop, and I haven’t even finished listening! I hope some of the Poké tubers going over the leaks hear this, they’d love it!
Fun fact: everything in the yellow pouch of his in the teal mask are sweets, in the indigo disc,he still has it. I’m sure his poke balls are hidden in the pile under the candy somewhere 😂😂
Bringing Ogerpon into the battle only for it to almost die to one (1) of dragonite’s rain dance hurricanes was so humbling.

@@MetalZuko This is post-game content in the age of the internet. Casual play and the "original demographic" can very easily just train up their pokemon with candies and vitamins, both of which are in ample supply and easy to obtain nowadays. Heck, many high-end raids already essentially require it anyways. But hey, if you want to make up excuses for willingly handicapping yourself needlessly, you do you.
@@MetalZuko Ok, could you please stop leaving hate to all comments on this video? I agree that there is horrible people in the pokemon community that ask for difficulty and then gets angry when they get it, but all the people I've seen you talk to are just saying what they think it's going to happen in the DLC with the clues we have, and almost all point to the DLC being hard.
You like it or not, it seems that GF is going to make this DLC pretty hard, and there's no problem with that. Some people enjoy hard games while other people enjoy easy games. The base game was pretty easy, so I think there is no problem with making the DLC harder.
And don't say we don't think of casual players. If you remember well, players will have both Kor/Miraidon and Ogerpon for this battle, if they use them they will probably sweep him, if that's what they want. The only difference is that against a good team the battle turns from being a game where you only need to use a super effective move (which for a final boss is pretty boring) to a game in which you'll have to think a little bit more. At the end of the day, there's even a lot of casual players who want hard games.
Again, I agree that there's a lot of horrible people in the pokemon community that should just abandon the saga, but I think you are not attacking the right people.

for narritive reasons i AM going to use ogerpon lol at level 80. Im starting the DLC with ogerpon and the gifted shiny lucario both at lv 80. and finish the rest of my team with pokemon i catch in the terrarium.
I recommend anyone who fights him use ogerpon, its worth it trust me

(Altho if I remember correctly, Rapunzel didn't betray Cassandra in any way - Cassandra was misled. I'm...still upset the game makes us lie to Kieran, altho maybe he would have been mad at us catching Ogerpon regardless.)

Waaaait. Even I know this won't be Champion Kieran official theme, it's very likely that he would have a new theme for his Champion Battle. So, this would make Kieran the first trainer with three battle themes. The first for the battles in Kitakami, the second for the Ogerpon fight, and the third as his Champion Theme!
I imagine it will have some leitmotifs from his final battle theme in Teal Mask.

Before I heard the real theme. This released and I thought it was a leak of the theme. This theme was so fire I thought it was a real Pokémon theme.
