Also, the possibility of getting a gold medal as a breakdance has been erased forever. History.
That is real class. She should have been awarded the gold medal. That's the problem these days people can't see quality. Her moves had a very high difficulty rating. Let's see anyone else match her.
One thing you can say about this girl is she put breaking on the map. If you surveyed a bunch of the critics I wonder how many would know who got the medals inn this sport at the games
Yo, she shouldn't have been up there. There's being original, and then there's just bombing on one of the biggest stages ever. Her performance pretty much killed breakdancing's chances of being there in the future. Especially since it came out of the Bronx in the sixties and seventies, someone else should've had her spot.

And needed to be disqualified after her 1st round ..They let her continue to face off with 3 competitors which was rediculous. Her being there wasting the spot she influenced the rankings to the gold leaving an unfair playing field for the other breakdancers. The medals may have gone to different winners if it wasn't for her being allowed to continue.
I am Aussie and white woman can do anything... I mean at least they have the power to force us to stand by and watch em try do anything and everything and if we say something we hate whomever they feel like being that day. This wasn't breakdancing. The graceless twitching and somersaulting you find on a preschool playground could be considered artful in some circles, but it doesn't belong on the world stage in the breakdancing category. Not that I'd ever compare her uncoordinated twitching with the honest fumbling of a child; she ostensibly PRACTICED to do a fair imitation of the locomotion of someone recently hit by an 18 wheeler. No physically demanding freezes. No windmills. No 1900s or 2000s. No flips or acrobatics or anything that takes a human physique beyond the boundaries of someone average's capability. It looks like something a 12 year old with 4 months of breakdancing classes would throw together to impress their parents. The fact that Australia had options and CHOSE this person as their global representative speaks volumes about how they want to be perceived.

There was a creative and technically skilled person who would have made the best of this opportunity. I'm sad for the person who missed out to show dance, creativity, athletic ability etc... I feel for all the amazing break dancing Olympians. The spotlight was stolen. She seems like a a fun well educated person. Why make a joke of something that means so much to so many.
who added all the damn sound effects, Shoes skidding, Neck breaking, Shuffling, and the fart sound while upside down
“Where she sees her routines as a form of artistic expression rather than simply a competitive display of physical prowess.”
IT’S THE FREAKING OLYMPICS. IT’S ALL ABOUT COMPETITIVE DISPLAY OF PHYSICAL PROWESS.
EXACTLY!!!!
Yep that's right if she wasn't prepared to do it properly she should not have been there
YES!!! That's what I was shouting in my livingroom.
This is history right here.
Yall remember this one time they had breakdancing at the olympics and this one woman was so bad that they straight up cancelled it.
Imagine how pissed the whole community is. The olympics would have made this sport legit on a level thats hard to archive otherwise.
Also, the possibility of getting a gold medal as a breakdance has been erased forever. History.
Thanks to her. Breakdancing is banned and never coming back to olympics.
Los Angeles decided before she competed that they were not going to have break dancing. They may have it at at Australian Olympics.
@@8_7478Oh I hope not
That is real class. She should have been awarded the gold medal. That's the problem these days people can't see quality. Her moves had a very high difficulty rating. Let's see anyone else match her.
Where are those real crews who did well at Australia got talent or Xfactors? I guess they didn't get equal opportunity as those who has so called PHD
I just feel bad for all the other Australian breakers that got beat by her
Originality and creativity are not the issues, it's the presentation that is. Raygunn is the William Hung of Breakin'.
🤣
This is crazy! Can't believe the judges didn't get it.
This woman doesn’t have a single REAL friend. 😳
Especially since it came out of the Bronx in the sixties and seventies, someone else should've had her spot.
i was a big breaker back in the mid 80"s iam 53 now and watching her was hilarious !!
Atleast the Olympics is giving people with a mental disability a chance to compete
Really? So when is Joe Biden doing his routine ?
Australia no cap yall all owe HIPHOP an apology
I really mean that.
This was a accident and not ment to seem black face but it did so an apology is very much appropriate 💯
So... She decided to do interpretative dance instead of breakdancing, thats what I'm taking from this.
she shouldn't even have got 0 points, she should have been outright disqualified
@@iainansell5930 yes after the first round
I am Aussie and white woman can do anything...
I mean at least they have the power to force us to stand by and watch em try do anything and everything and if we say something we hate whomever they feel like being that day.
Its pretty hard out here...
Just to add we have a deep-rooted hip-hop scene in every state of Australia, they could have reached out and got a 10-year-old girl who is actually a breaker and we would have done a million times better and gave a young girl some opportunity but nah in Aus what we have done is traded the white patriarchy for a white matriarchy is super progressive.
This is the white lady who dances with the black kids
😅
Reminds me of that Australian “rapper” Iggy 😂
Opponent was dancing with her cause he knew it was a locked W for him
Women compete against women. But yeah
@JonBlack-YT1 absolutely, I will become more articulate in order to prevent you from seething. Moving forward I shall procure books that encourage developing my vocabulary so that you may sleep better at night. Lol Dork.
@@WhereisDreamland do they? I could have sworn a biological man was boxing a biological woman.
@@pr6046 this isn’t boxing
@@WhereisDreamland so there is exceptions?
There is nothing you can say after a performance like that. For the judges to actually give you a score of 0, is far too generous.
I used to be an active alcoholic, i see so many similarities between woke and addicts, like thinking you are having a super cool conversation with special friends while you are the center of attention but in reality you were just speaking with strangers in a crappy bar, so sad and delusional
That’s the stupidest comment I’ve read all day, congratulations.
I think you're totally correct.
That actually makes a lot of sense… crazy
@FilJR99 nah he's on to something
Imagine meteor crushing in the Diving Event creating a tsunami like splash and your answer to the result was,
“ALL MY MOVES ARE ORIGINAL.”
0:49 was stolen from the three stooges
Firstly it is not an academic subject - just a Mickey Mouse degree and secondly it is not an Olympic sport - especially when done by this woman
idk for people that knew what they were doing it looked impressive similar to Gymnastics but more fluid
The top contenders were all incredibly talented..
The only part of the Olympics I care about in Summer is Gymnastics, so I didn't see Rachael's tribute to a seizure 😵💫. When I did, I honestly thought it was a sketch from Saturday Night Live or a comedian from Tik Tok. It never occurred to me that she _actually_ went to the Olympics and disrespected breakdancing in this manner. Wow. Just...wow.
