I bought my cello case used from a guy who said he took it on tour with Brandi Carlile (who I have loved for ages, so it was already pretty damn cool) and just now realised while watching this video (which happens to be one of my favorite B.C songs) that my case made a guest appearance at 1:28!! Never getting rid of it now! The stickers are much more worn now, but they are all there! Recognized it in a heartbeat when it flashed on the screen. Crazy!

She is so warm and welcoming, seems happy to be there, willing to play all the songs everyone came to hear, plays with covers of songs you know but not too many. And when she, the twins, and drummer sing a cappella, well, just get yourself there to hear it. I've seen her at different venues but she had fun playing with the acoustics at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, MI. I only regret letting the girl next to me snag the guitar pick she threw that landed at my feet. :)

I was made aware of Brandi’s music early on when I worked for an indie radio station. Over the years I sort of forgot about this song. Tonight it popped into my head and is perfect for me at this time of my life. Brandi said she started playing music so people would feel something. Mission accomplished. And thank you for your humanitarian efforts and using your platform and fame to better our world.
Brandi really does have an astounding voice to the point where its hard to compare her to other singers. Really excited to hear her new album next week. Woo!

I too have seen Brandi at least 3 times the first was when she was an opening act for Indigo Girls and have loved her voice ever since.
