For real it got kick flips in 3 days i was practicing and practicing non stop saw his videos just looked over all the mistakes and the process and it became so clear subscribe to this channel for life :D btw thanks Aaron helped me alot i had no real confidence until i landed that first kick flip today
Daniel Hodges Thats awesome! Congrats bro! Yeah I never knew kickflips were so much about the slide and flick UP until I finally landed one. It's awesome
I landed my first heelflip yesterday, followed by 3 more :) Today I got 2 in like, 10 minutes. This video really helped me out, just wanted to stop by and say thanks for keeping me motivated, peace!
I think that I have written the following words under a lot of videos but I have to say it so often because it impresses me in every video: Lance is my hope! Really. I think I am as old as him and I want to learn skateboarding. And for me he is the living proof that I am not to old for this! Thx for the videos!
It's cool seeing someone actually learn these tricks after failing over and over again. With videos today, it's easy to forget how many times guys miss tricks in real life.
+XxSoreThumbGamesxX I think it's just the kick of the heelflip that people can't get their head around so they just give up with it and go onto kickflips... but for actually landing a flip i reckon heelflips would be easier, it takes more time to work out how to flick it properly but the time to actually land it is usually cut in half which makes up for the time needing to learn the flick as opposed to a kickflip if that makes any sense? so i definitely think people need to revise what they say about heelflips and acknowledge that they just skipped a whole step haha instead of calling it hard
I'm glad you guys are doing the Lance live support and after this one knowing that he is 24. I will be 26 this year I skated for a while when I was 17-18 but never got good and gave up. Here I am trying again, makes me feel better seeing someone around my age learning these things
Gotta Hand It to Lance, that Heel Flip was Clean. I think Lance although inexperienced, has potential to be great at skating. Still though he has been skating on and off for many years, so the reason he picks up so fast is because with age comes wisdom he just needed a little guidance. What most people may not realize is that a person who is newer to skateboarding won't pick up these tricks as fast as Lance so don't be discouraged if you can't learn these tricks as fast as he has. Just thought it was an eye opener that needed to be stated. Hope you all become great skaters and thanks for these videos Aaron.
Do more of these live skate support videos Aaron! They are really inspiring and really cool! I'd also like to watch lance as he progresses! Great job Lance! That heelflip was perfect. Even for someone who already knows how to do them!
sidyT9 Aaron also says heelflips aren't his strongest thing, weaker than his kickflips despite learning them earlier. Does it even matter? Not every trick comes naturally to every skater, why be a douche about it?
terrabun I don`t want to be a douche about it but Heelflips, Kickflips and Shuv its are the foundation to like ten billion other tricks so it might make Aaron an even better skater than he already is. Besides that, it`s better to have the tricks really down yourself before you try to teach other people how to do them.
Just do them reaallyy slow and build up, also dont always try to go big, just a comfortable height. Ive started skating again and have really low and slow ollies and fakie ollies, so yeh just start small and build up.
Not trying to be rude at all, but that probably means your learning technique needs improving because it sounds like you were not correcting what was wrong. Try to break down what you are doing, same as Aaron does, examine your stance/posture/foot position (filming it helps) and try changing something if it;s not working. If you do change something, change one thing at a time.
What I found really helped for rolling ollies was to first ride along and just do little jumps on the board to get used to unweighting and being in the air and off the board... then gradually pop a bit harder and suddenly you're doing rolling ollies.
it took me i think 3 months! i was on and off but i think one day i spent a whole 2 HOURS! and i never got it but i learned it all by myself! :) the only advice i had from my brother was pop and slide the front foot up and take your back foot off. That is a really big step and just keep doing that about a 1000 TIMES! and you should learn the mechanics of it pretty well :) i believe in you :)
Hey, Aaron I am so thankfull, because of skateboarding made simple I landed all the tricks. Today I landed the heel flip. I just need to land it every time and them I have mastered the basic tricks to skateboarding. And now I know how to nollie, stairs, and I learned rock tho fakie's a week ago. Thanks so much
+Charlton Lepkofker doing it the right way, aaron is a good teacher, he can see what lance was doing wrong and correct them. it's not hard if you learn with somebody else who knows how to do it well, skate with friends!
But Lance said that he has never landed heelflip since he was 14, and now he is 24. So I can suggest, that he had a lot of practice before they started this live skate support, and he did not learn some tricks from the beginning.
Afrika Bambaataa Move your front foots toes off the board more, then pop hard and jump really high. Thats what i did! I got crazy bruises on my achilles afterwards when i was trying to get it again!
Ok, he learned heelflips fast, which makes since. I mean it's only kicking your foot out in front of you. But I swear to god, if he learns kickflips just as fast I am going to kill somebody. That trick took me an easy 5-6 months and it made me so frustrated at times.
This is so deprimating I'm now skating since nearly 2 years and I needed months to learn tricks. I even haven't got my kickflips down but i'm stuck at them since more than a year... All the other tricks go well... BUT DUDE: Heelflip in 3 DAMN DAYS?!! I HATE YA
Gotta' hand it to you Aaron. These live skate supports of Lance are really pushing me to learn. I can ollie, fs 180, and pop shove, but i can't bs 180, front shove, heelflip, or kickflip. If Lance can do it, then i can do it too.
That first heelflip Lance landed was so clean! He even caught it in the air! It is better than mine I'd say but wow lance you are learning really really fast
That looked so sick! Hell yeah Lance! I just restarted skating a few days ago... had to use some alcohol to get my confidence up so I could land moving ollies LOL
LANCE IS SO FAST AT LEARNING TRICKS!!!!!!!!!!! I started earlier than him and now his on HEELFLIPS NOW!!!! and I'm still with my front shove...............THIS IS AMAZING!!!
He landed that freaking perfect. But I learned front side and backside 180 and the ollie in 1 day cause of his video "skateboarding made simple " thanks man your good at teaching this stuff.
If you guys are having trouble landing your back foot try and have it more central/ where you put it in an ollie. After this I am landing both kick and heels. Hope this helps.
Hey Aaron after I watched this video I was determined to land a heelflip I already have kick flips but today I landed my first heelflip because of you thanks so much and let me know if you want me to send it to you so it can be in a progress video
Man that heelflip was perfect
Could see how impressed Aaron was watching the replay, beautiful.
I want to cry. Lance has accomplished more skate tricks in three days then I have in seven months! Lance For BATB8!!!!!!!
hes learned more tricks in 1 day than i have in 11 months
Bwahahaha
Well hes older and has been doing it longer then you guys hes just practicing not learning new tricks but making them better
Lance :(
He learned a heelflip in one day and I've been practicing every day for a year and still can't heelflip
He does 7 tricks in 3 days thats it im done with skating.
i tried skating once, i f*cked up.
Why not take this as inspiration? If he can do it so can you.
Pretty Sure without professional help(Aaaron or s.o. else) This is Sooo Impssible
DaCracky Lp Arron helps you by making tutorials and as you can See in the video he don't help that much.
They have a proffesional with him!
I love how his first flip trick is like 5 feet in the air
This is so sick!! Live skate supports help so much, Can't wait to try these tomorrow, I have a lot of confidence now :D
Awesome! Take it down!
CrossVanityGaming Yea and i am gonna finally get new independents for my board so i can skate all daaay errry day
That heelflip was one of the most beautiful flatground heelflips that I think I have ever seen.
I landed my first heelflip yesterday, followed by 3 more :) Today I got 2 in like, 10 minutes. This video really helped me out, just wanted to stop by and say thanks for keeping me motivated, peace!
So clean . He definitely has perfect timing on the pop and flick. And so quick to get it down.
Am I the only one who agrees that even if you really don't care about skateboarding this channel is extremely entertaining.
I think that I have written the following words under a lot of videos but I have to say it so often because it impresses me in every video: Lance is my hope! Really. I think I am as old as him and I want to learn skateboarding. And for me he is the living proof that I am not to old for this! Thx for the videos!
WTF!!! This was the trick that made me quit for a year and he lands it in three days.
if one trick makes you quit something you love for a whole year, i dont think you are every going to land it.
Luke Johns ever*
D
I
D
Luke Johns Nah I landed it I just needed to watch this dudes videos. lol
same
It's cool seeing someone actually learn these tricks after failing over and over again. With videos today, it's easy to forget how many times guys miss tricks in real life.
I find heelflips like 5x easier than kickflips, is that weird? a lot of people say its much harder

+Jesse Cook ive never thought of it that way lol good points
I know right
+Jesse Cook that's true but remember they didn't do anything wrong. there is no rules to skateboarding
So true
I'm glad you guys are doing the Lance live support and after this one knowing that he is 24. I will be 26 this year I skated for a while when I was 17-18 but never got good and gave up. Here I am trying again, makes me feel better seeing someone around my age learning these things
That was a high ass heel flip. He caught it and everything.
Good job, Lance.
Aaron your skateboarding made simple vol 1 helped so much in 2 days I learned Ollie shuvits pop shuvits front side 180 backside 180's and kickflips

Do more of these live skate support videos Aaron! They are really inspiring and really cool! I'd also like to watch lance as he progresses! Great job Lance! That heelflip was perfect. Even for someone who already knows how to do them!
Aaron, Lance's first Heelflip was better than most of yours. Maybe he can teach you now how to Heelflip.
He didn't even try to Heelflip...
Lol!
mikey41rules Yes, but you can see his Heelflips in some Skate Supports.
sidyT9 Aaron also says heelflips aren't his strongest thing, weaker than his kickflips despite learning them earlier. Does it even matter? Not every trick comes naturally to every skater, why be a douche about it?

Such a clean Heel. That slow-mo inspires me
Why can't Aaron be my skating teacher!?!?!
I shall help you receive his help.
Lance is actually a baller at learning tricks, lol. He almost has his unique style already. Awesome. Loving these skate support videos.
He learns tricks so fast! It took me just 7 months to learn standing Ollie's and I still can't do moving ones ugh
Just do them reaallyy slow and build up, also dont always try to go big, just a comfortable height. Ive started skating again and have really low and slow ollies and fakie ollies, so yeh just start small and build up.

You'll get there man. Listen to what these guys above me are saying. It takes time but you'll get it.
it took me i think 3 months! i was on and off but i think one day i spent a whole 2 HOURS! and i never got it but i learned it all by myself! :) the only advice i had from my brother was pop and slide the front foot up and take your back foot off.
It's cool to see how much Lance has progressed. I am happy for him

Gotta' hand it to you Aaron. These live skate supports of Lance are really pushing me to learn. I can ollie, fs 180, and pop shove, but i can't bs 180, front shove, heelflip, or kickflip. If Lance can do it, then i can do it too.
