Hey, not a trump-guy, but I gotta ask for some of these: What the fuck is QAnon, Trumpists, and Tankies doing up there? I geniunely do not know how they have the political power to actually do that. Like are there actual "MAGAs" in Belarus?
I like how Lithuania and Belarus, two similar countries right next to each other, represent a complete contrast in nations. Lithuania is the model NATO-EU ally, punching above it's weight in diplomatic roles and making an effort to participate in almost every NATO operation with unwavering loyalty. Belarus is the opposite, the model "Eastern" ally, supporting every anti-Western regime since the 1990s, perfectly conforming to all characteristics of an authoritarian rogue state and serving Russia's interests with unwavering loyalty.
Unwavering loyalty to Russia? Just how little of Belarus-Russia relations do you know? The very fact that Belarus remains independent goes against Russian desires for annexation.
