I honestly love Mikey Taylor parts. It's not like they blow you away in terms of tech or how big he goes, but he never seems to be far behind in terms of progression, his tricks ALWAYS look amazing the way he does them, and his music choices are consistently fit. Skate videos don't awlays need to push the envelope, sometimes it's nice to have parts like this that just make you want to go skate

yea i dont like him, lots of more deserving kids, with way more drive and talent. i am not one of them nor do intend to bash this "pro skater " hes is alright.
that guy I agree, all artists deserve to make a living as long as they are providing a service. Whether it's acting, music, painting, or skating. It is only a problem when the person gets greedy, or stops providing the service. Mikey is clearly still skating and progressing. I like Rob Dyrdek but he is a prime example of someone in it for the money.
Don Johnson Rob's on the business side of things now. Of course he's gonna find ways to make money for the companies he's part of.

Does anyone know what the fuck Mikey has been doing the past two years? I know he's got all the street league and other tour footage but film-wise, is he filming for something? It's been two years since this sick part and nothing has surfaced (that I'm aware of) of a future project.

I feel it dude. I work my ass off with a job and being a full time college student and, like you said, I just can't drop it all so I can skate all the time. Yeah, I might be a bit happier without the added stress but I know for a fact I'll never be a professional skateboarder nor will I have any significant place in skateboarding. So the most I can do is work hard now so I can skate more later.
The problem with everyone, including Mikey Taylor is that everyone is comparing him to all the other top pros. Mikey may not be the most technical, or go the biggest, but he has an aazming style, and and amazing personality. A lot of the tricks he does, look simple, but think about yourself doing them The're scary. They for the most part switch and or nollie too. He is amazing in every aspect! Much Respect Mikey! :D

its nice to see that pro skaters are like regular people like normal i hope one day to be as good and be where mikey and the other pros are now i love skating and i am determined to be a pro and i want to dedicate all my time to it it if it wasnt for skating things in life would be alot worse...................
why is noone addressing the problem with skateshoes biting other brands designs like they didnt. qill there ever be original skate designs again? dc in particular simply copies another shoes companys design and passes it off as their own. ive only skated two pair of dcs in my life and they both were horrible shoes.

I love Mikey Taylor, honestly he is the guy who should represent skateboarding. Always has a positive attitude and a good time, and truly just loves to skate and hang with his friends. mikey deserves better than dc, just like wes, morgan smith and matt miller. those dudes go way under the radar and are over shadowed by 6 year old non skaters by boring ass dudes like nyjah houston. blah. morgan smith is pro, and hes not even on the website for crying out loud!
I think this is one of the best footage if not the best, of Mikey Taylor! I love this guy, he's so talented and fun. I would love to see Mikey Taylor ripping it a lil bit better in street league but I feel like he's not a contest guy although he rips it on the streets.
Had two pairs of his shoes already. Best shoe yet to me. And he's not someone who only skates competitions to win he skated them to have fun. Because to him and many others in skateboarding do it for the love of and passion to skating. Not winning.

As much as I love skateboarding, I can't simply quit my education and job for it. My country is too demanding. Without education, you can't survive in my country. But still, I find time to love skateboarding. Love to see people living their dreams.
Dunno bout anyone else but it's kinda weird watching him skate in those ankle tapper type jeans. I've always loved watching him skate, but I kinda preferred how his style looked in looser jeans. He still kills it regardless.
mikey has got the best attitude and you can see that without even knowing him, he is just always smiling ! it would be cool if every skater had the same attitude as him cause people like nyjah are waaay to arrogant !

Haha me and my friends were randomly skating down the street and met mikey when he was shooting the first clip of the fs tail slide, he was really nice and tall and had a really grippy handshake
street league is like 0.00000000000000000000001% of skateboarding. Look at Andrew Reynolds, he's never been in the competition yet still is regarded as one of the best skaters of all time.

Well, I did say "ever done," but he is pretty sick. He's not as technical as some, but his style and cleanliness in his tricks is what separates him from everyones else.
