having a racing team doesnt mean anything. what about nike? they do running, bmx, skating, fitness and other. doesnt mean they are a sell out. just means they have a bigger market. and yeah you can by the shoes at walmart, but that is so kids that possibly dont have as much money can buy a pair of skate shoes. dc is just a huge market in the world of sports. you should be happy that dc has such a good skate team and not hating on them because they make more money than most companys.

Hope this guy still focuses on his street skating though, I'd hate to see him stop putting out parts and stick with street league like a few skaters have done...

you mean "we can respectably wear DC's again." Team is good, particularly Wes Kramer and Evan Smith, and the OGs of course, but I still can't handle the marketing/business/money-making side of it. if all you kids wanna talk about selling out, here: DC isn't selling out. true they are a monster of a company now, but they originally started with skateboarding, thats their foundation. Nike on the other hand would be selling out more since they're a sports company who decided to get into skateboarding after seeing how much money it makes. so when pure skate companies like eS go out of business i don't support Nike anymore.
