Thank you Adam 😃 we are very pleased with the restoration works although we still have some work to do replacing both master brake cylinders - the parts are arriving next week. Any excuse to work on the gorgeous tractor 👍 don’t tell the wife!!!! 🤣
Thank you 😃 we are extremely proud of what we achieved. Hopefully your uncle will soon make a start on his 804 I will check in from time to time and subscribe to your site. 👍
@@simongleed Hi Simon Thanks a lot for answers. Think you're right, there aren't many 704 left. In Denmark I have only seen 704 Marshall, never a 704 Leyland. Mine is imported from Norway, and is very worn. Where do you come from in England ??? Regards Mads

@@simongleed Hi Simon Yes yes it all makes sense. It is a really good tractor age considering. You've renovated yours to perfection, I think, incredibly beautiful. Wales okay my son and i were in Shepton Mallet for the tractor show, first of the year when the theme was leyland, very fun. Regards Mads
She's a beauty!! Just rebuilt the engine on my 804, now to start on the cab and body. What black paint did you use? Did a nut and bolt rebuild on a ford 4100 and used sparex enamel, good finish but chips easily. I'll be happy if it turns out close to what you have achieved!
Hey Dixie thank you for your Kind words . We are extremely happy with the restoration of this iconic British tractor something to be very proud of. I’m sure you will do a fantastic restoration to your 804 and please put updates so I can follow your progress. I will speak to Ashley and find out what type of paint and colour black we used! I did some considerable amount of research regarding the white paint as so very often I see the colour white is incorrect on these Leyland/Marshall tractors. it should be old English white - I used old English white powder coat paint on the wheel rims rather than traditional paint. The harvest gold was 2k paint and truly looks fantastic. Be in touch soon.
Thanks for the info on the white, i did wonder about the colour. Too many good restos are spoiled by making the wheels so white you need sunglasses to look at them!
@@rabmurphy7089 Not a problem, anytime :) Are you talking about the hydrulic lift arms? I didn't replace anything to do with the lift arm hydrulics. Try Charnleys and Son this company seems have alot of Marshall and Leyland aparts. www.charnleys.com/parts
