I was so sick of losing every time I played a Squishmallow Claw Machine (AKA Crane Game) at the arcade that I decided to buy my own. After building a Mini Claw machine and realizing Claw Machines are actually rigged so players lose, I changed the rules by updating the settings in my own Claw Machine. And I won prize after prize after prize. I finally fulfilled my dream of winning, with the most satisfying Claw Machine wins.
I spent DAYS transforming my Claw Machine into a fish tank. It was hard work, but I'm so happy with how it turned out. Watch as I make this satisfying transformation, add insanely colorful Glo Fish and even surprise one of YOU at the end. You're not gonna wanna miss this!

I love how she doesn’t put them in tanks to small, and how unique and beautiful they are, she also makes them fish friendly and fish safe. Some of the videos that I see (not on is channel) are straight up fish abuse, but she is creative and smart. Also she should make a guitar fish tank.

I have to rant about them for a sec because I am a bioengineer and I learned about them way early on when I was first deciding on career stuff, and did a project on them.
I first learned about GloFish in my Bioengineering class in High School. (It went over like a bunch of snippets of potential careers of what you could do with BioE, and of course one of them is tissue eng and genetic engineering. I went the electrical/ biomechanical devices route, but I’m still super fascinated by the “squishy” side of the field and respect the heck out of the people who work with it!)
GloFish are such pretty fluorescent little dudes. And after the initial gene splicing, that gene can keep being passed down through the generations.
IIRC, GloFish that are sold as pets just have the GFP always expressing (not just in cases of polluted waters). They will always fluoresce under blacklight, like a jellyfish. They were like a “first step” toward other applications of the same research, such as, like you said, pollution indicator fish (which would use that gene in combination with other genes to switch it on and off in the presence of certain chemical signals I’m assuming).
Applications of this same protein used in Bioengineering today are really cool! They use the code for GFP and other fluorescent stuff a lot as an indicator tag within pieces of DNA that they are trying to splice into native segments, in many different organisms. This means that if the splice was successful, they can tell the organism will have the new desired genes in its code (even though the traits are invisible) if it is also fluorescing under blacklight because that means that the gfp tag (part of the same new piece of Dna) was also taken up successfully and the body is reading it and making that protein. You usually see this with bacterial plasmid modification- which is a really common way a lot of pharmaceuticals are made these days! (Yeah we have used customized viruses to inject another organism’s DNA into bacteria so that we can grow them in factories to make life saving drugs for us. Yay science? Sounds like something out of a cyberpunk dystopia novel. But that is commonplace modern genetic engineering! Cool and creepy all at once!)
Anyway. These pretty little fishies are part of something so much bigger than their lovely neon tails could ever imagine. And their reaction: Swimming carefree in ignorant bliss in a cool-ass claw machine tank oasis. I love that for them :)
This brings me back to when i used to work in the arcades. Plus what a great idea with the waterfall, i would definitely give it a go.

If your parents won’t let you get fish, you can also ask them for sea monkey’s which is really good for its price, It’s like taking care of fish but easier

Jaime thats why its Stinks.. the Silicone used in aquariums and other.. this is compared with Vinegar.. the smell of the Silicone.. but few days it will go... try to look old school aquarium makers.. in my country i know a person can make long big aquariums at your specifications.. but not Rimless.. he still makes a aquarium support on four sides of the aquarium ... 😊
