I am a fan of Jen and Angela forever! I am so inspired by their creativity and wonderful quilting skills. Perhaps it is time to transition to modern quilting, starting with those wonderful colors, accents, and use of negative space!

I'm a self taught quilter of a few years but to me all quilts were modern in the era in which they were made.
A lot of "modern quilters" think they invented the whole thing their such divas about their patterns.
The problem is modern quilts look very dated after a while, where as, traditional quilts are timeless.
I honestly do not like all the fancy quilting as some of it OBLITERATE the piecing and even at times
    hides poor piecing.

Definitivamente acolchar es un arte, mi persona lo hace así, cada espacio del quilt tiene su propio diseño de acolchado

I would love to be a modern quilter BUT I have a huge stash of older fabrics not in the modern ascetic ... So I make modern quilts with traditional fabrics, I will continue to do what I have always done... SEW ANY THING I WANT and time I want to... Breaking the rules >>> guess that makes me a modern quilter...
