I grew up in deep east Texas, way behind the Pine Curtain as it's sometimes referred to. The Duckmen VHS tapes, particularly this one, were the Holy Grail of staying up late on Friday nights getting ready to hunt or fish early Saturday morning. We wore that tape out over a few years. All I wanted out of life back then was a green Stanley coffee thermos, a Mossberg 500 and a big John the Baptist beard. Check check and check.
I'm a first year waterfowler out on the St Lawrence River and I have me a green Stanley Thermos, Mossberg 500 and currently working on the beard. These videos are a goldmine of information, especially the earlier videos of Phil working ducks into the spread that are better than any new video out there
This reminds me of me and my dad and grandpa hunting when I was 10 to 19 yrs old the best times of my life other than now when I have my own family my boy is 6 going to give him a couple more years hopefully he will have as much fun as I did with my dad
The introduction was cool. Blue amazes me she is so diligent, such a hard worker and loves what she does. You are very lucky to have her Phil. Hope she does well in retirement.
Shows how much you know. Biting the ducks head is a quick way to put it out it's misery instead of inhumanly letting it suffer. It's a common practice among veteran duck hunters. Your mama should have taught you to keep your trap shut when you don't know what you're talking about?
It's amazing how these videos are "new" to people. This was the Robertson Family before going mainstream.
AARON FULWIDER yup. These are they’re best videos too.
And I hope they make more

That dog is awesome, retrieving two at once. I'll fly away is my favorite song!!!
Appreciate the comment. That was our Maggie. Lost her back in 2011. She was a great dog and we miss her. Wish they could live forever.

This year is when they made the switch from their beloved browning golds to the real duck slocker benelli sbe!!!
