- When cymbal spill is an issue. I never find regular gates to be all that reliable. You have to tweak, then reset, then automate...it all gets messy.

How can I isolate all the drum cymbals captured by a panoramic microphone along with the snare drum and the singer's voice? If I asked a stupid question, forgive me, I'm a newbie 🤗
I think you’ve got quite a lot of jobs in there, which require different processing.
Dialog Isolate from iZotope with help isolate the vocal. This Debleed plugin may help with snare depending on the source material. As for cymbals, it’s hard to say without hearing it!
@@SamLoose Well, I obviously did some tests with iZotope de-bleed first (I only have the RX 7 but I think it's not a problem) but the result was not satisfactory, I think mostly because I'm less than a beginner. All I managed to do was equalize the track so that the cymblas frequencies stand out. then I removed the voice with music rebalance.
Anyway, I was wondering if this plugin worked better than the iZotope one, is that so? If you say yes I will buy it immediately.

@TommyGBassChannel this plugin is excellent at isolating snare from a track and removing spill, that’s what I use it for 👍 Check out the link in the description if you’re interested.
There’s a free trial. Nothing to loose if it doesn’t work.
