in my opinion: I aint watching this it looks like one of those shitty movies on netflix that get made for like dirt cheap. The girl comes across as cliche and nothings special, probably becuase theres people in real life who act like this and it comes across as cingey like they think they in a movie.
Such a puritanical statement though, horniness can build love, love and sex are intertwined in many cases, just cause people being horny with each other isn't always a long term relationship, love as a couple can start like that, even if you don't like knowing some people are overtly sexual, it's none of your business anyway.
Get rekt, "anti-woke" is just a product of ignorance, and added to companies trying to monetise identification matters so it just feels like people want them to mean one single rainbow-y image, but actual lgbtq+ is much more diverse. It helps to actually get to know more lgbt people online so you stop being so reactionary to media showing a sellable image of lgbt ppl.

There were character moments about a shapeshifter making a friend. There was no story about such.
@@Bobby90 Nimona is an allegorical character representing trans people. The Institute and The Director represent religious conservatives (the symbolic reason why their law enforcement consists of knights even though they've got sci-fi technology is that they're an advanced society with medieval world-views). Nimona's struggles, both with acceptance against the religious conservatives' demonization of her as well as her suicidal ideations, reflect trans struggles. Her intentions are to find acceptance and overthrow the old society and replace it with one in which she can belong. Why did a shapeshifter, someone who could be anyone, not just be anyone? That's kinda like asking why trans people don't just stay in their closets... And she tells you herself in the movie: She wouldn't be living if she did. Why did she seemingly only make two attempts at making a friend in a thousand years? Why haven't trans people tried to get their rights until now? Do you think it has something to do with systemic rejections from mankind in general? Why did the group formed to challenge her know nothing about her? You mean aside from "she's a monster"? For the same reason religious conservatives reduce the targets of their bigotry to almost mythicized monsters and one-dimensional caricatures, rather than human beings with their own feelings, reasons and complexities.

@@shudrr When you throw out common sense for a theme that's not a good film. If you had someone who could shapeshift you would ask questions. That's actually open minded, the film seems to be bashing you round the head with the theme. We got it, now just explain the rules so we know the stakes. If your audience doesn't know a characters limitations that's not good, unless the character doesn't know their full limitations. In which case that still has stakes. Also asking people to blindly trust you is not good, I got the message but there should be more than a message like common sense.
@@shudrrAlso she tries to off herself in a kids film.
how does disney from all companies denie this. they are the ones pushing the rainbow forcefully in eery movie. And they do it wrong. At least this movie shows a normal believable couple only gay.
Because Blue skies was being shut down. That is the reason, thats the main reason. Media just likes to be a bit full of bs.
Disney engage in rainbow capitalism. They'll support LGBTQ+ in their movies to rake in a couple of extra dollars so long as they can easily edit out their support for the international releases and never actually have to give their LGBTQ+ employees any kind of protection from discrimination.
it looks unfinished
It has a good plot 👍🏼
Nice animation
Wasn’t bothered by the relatively LGBT two individuals; took up less time and nothing more.
in my opinion: I aint watching this it looks like one of those shitty movies on netflix that get made for like dirt cheap. The girl comes across as cliche and nothings special, probably becuase theres people in real life who act like this and it comes across as cingey like they think they in a movie.
I have to agree, but the animation is good.
There's a difference between love and horniness.
Such a puritanical statement though, horniness can build love, love and sex are intertwined in many cases, just cause people being horny with each other isn't always a long term relationship, love as a couple can start like that, even if you don't like knowing some people are overtly sexual, it's none of your business anyway.
The gold knight and the black knight aren't exactly army material.
That would be very historically accurate.
I'm confused. This movie is woke but it's good.
gay people existing isn’t woke lmfao
Get rekt, "anti-woke" is just a product of ignorance, and added to companies trying to monetise identification matters so it just feels like people want them to mean one single rainbow-y image, but actual lgbtq+ is much more diverse. It helps to actually get to know more lgbt people online so you stop being so reactionary to media showing a sellable image of lgbt ppl.
Woke is a meaningless buzzword
@@burner555 yep, it has become so. Though listening to Redbone by Childish Gambino may shine a light on the real meaning of woke, back before people turned it into yet another demonized word
@@jplveiga i'd hardly call it demonized. People behind it are the real reason why no one likes it.
Great animation but no real story.
You must be kidding 😂
@@oliverseiler2871 Its more character fluff than character or story development. Nimona finding Boldheart "just because" which applies to much of the movie including worldbuilding.
Not saying it was bad or i didn't like it, just that story could have used as much polish as the animation got.
@@Bobby90did you watch the whole film? Her real intentions are revealed in the end
@@Henw1 If you're talking about something other than self harm, you're going to have to explain.
While you're at it, how about explaining why a shapeshifter, someone who could be anyone, didn't just be anyone. Why they seemingly only made two attempts to make a friend in a thousand years, or why the group formed to challenge them knew nothing about them.
No it's bad for children don't let your kids watch it please. God loves you.🙏🏼
What's wrong with it that it's bad for kids to watch it?
You afraid they will question lies you told them ?
But why tho 😂😂

Gay characters?
Bad movie
Why?
@@moon7shinev150 Forced Agenda pushing
I'm so glad people disregard all aspects of storytelling and filmmaking because they don't like gay or non-binary characters.
Because it has characters that have something to do with the lgbtq community doesn’t mean its a bad movie, i haven’t watched it yet but will on Friday when it comes out but based of off how good the graphic novel and web comic was, i doubt it’ll be bad. And i doubt even more it’ll be “worse” because it has “gay characters”.
@@GOldenPROdigy115 You're not very smart huh?
For me I don't like it I only like the character Nimona I don't like the gay dude why does it have to be gay💀
Grow up
Well, why do people have to be straight? You see how stupid that question sounds? The movie's lesson and messages about the intolerance of people who are different really went over your head huh?
So sorry to tell you this, but Nimona is trans. It’s about as subtle as a brick to the face.
Because he is?
Well... People are gay :/ Why did you have to have such eyes ?
