Some of my 3 favorite ladies! So happy to see 3 generations working together!
Doesn’t matter what you are doing, just watching you, your Mom and Gramma together is so awesome. God bless you all ❤
I loved seeing your grandma in these last couple of videos. You have such a strong bond with both your mom and grandma. I miss my mom dearly and wish that I could have done something like this with her. Thank you for continuing to share your knowledge with all of us. It is great to see your subscribers grow in leaps and bonds!! You share knowledge that we can all use to keep our bodies healthy!
Your lemon faces tickled me but, the funniest part was grandma getting her taste buds ready 😂 it was precious ❤
I enjoy your videos very much. You’ve really inspired me to build my own little glass door apothecary . Wish I could send a picture. 😊
I love seeing 3 generations together. Cherish all of it.
Hi Grandma 🤗 Glad to see you in the Apothecary with our favorite ladies of Homesteading. Heard the snap, waiting for the pucker...Love Lemons in Tea. Once you cut one open, you taste it in your mouth. 🍋🍋
You're always fun to watch. I always love watching the 3 generations. That's special!
What a blessing, a grandmother, a mother and a daughter. Three great minds at work. I came across your youtube because I am interest in to learning about herbs.
And my daughter is getting into herbs as well!
Holy Basil with lemon!
Ohhh yes!!!!
Yes!!
What a great relationship ❤️ you'll are having fun and so am I . The tea looks delicious. "chi chin" I love hibiscus 🌺 and lemon balm . Thank you !!! You'll are the best. How sweet of Lori for the gift .that was very touchy even I wanted to cry 😢 how kind of her. They are so so cute with bees 🐝 😍 💕
I love seeing 3 generations come together to create and enjoy a new concoction! Wish we could all sit around and enjoy your tea and good conversation! Blessings!
I dont have a freeze dryer but I have been dehydrating blood oranges for a few years now to use in my tea blends. One of my favourite blends for winter (I am in Australia so we are going in to our cold and flu season) is mullein, sage, peppermint and blood orange, my favourite blend for summer was tulsi and blood orange, nice and simple sweetened with some raw honey
I love the energy you three have together. You can tell Grandma is very wise. You all have learned a lot from her! Happy Spring!! So glad its here!!
Those aprons were beautiful and such an amazing gift. Thanks for sharing. You both inspire me to wanna learn something old.
Grammy looks so glamours sitting there! So lovely.
Hi you two and too your grandma ❤. I really enjoy your channel. So honest and upfront & just being just as your are.
God's blessings to you are. Thanks for just being you😊
Thank you for sharing these blends! I'll be popping lemons in the freeze dryer this afternoon 🍋
We are just emerging from the hardest winter of my life. The most snow, ice and cold. Collapsed buildings, downed fences Bees didn't fare well 😢 I NEED this tea in my life NOW❤ Thanks ladies for your sharing your wealth of knowledge.
We make powder out of the lemon, and other citrus after running it through the freeze dryer. We add it to spice mixes, freeze dried recipes that call for citrus, and teas etc. So many wonderful things!
I SO love your family! Your Mom is such a sweet lady! She’s the kind of Mom we all should have! And Grandma….I’d give anything to have my grandma’s back with me! One was very Swedish and the other was VERY Tennessee! The Tennessee grandma only ever cooked on a wood stove. Her food was always incredible! The other grandma was a wonderful cook too. I miss them both! You’re so lucky to have Grandma with you! Are her seeds sprouting yet??? All my gardening now is done with either pots or GreenStalks! I’m still planting things for them! Y’all are wonderful!!! ❤
💛 I bet you had some great memories! No sprouts yet, but hopefully soon!
@@TheHoneystead I have incredible memories of my Tennessee Grandmas farm and then home when they moved to “town”. They finally got a real bathroom when I was about 10! You had to go outside on the porch to get to it but there was a tub and a toilet! First time I knew Tennessee had “indoor plumbing”1. I wouldn’t change my childhood with them if I could! For whatever reason, my mom never got my Grandmas recipes. She only did scratch cooking. I miss her and I miss the old house they lived in before they moved to town! NO toilets, plumbing at all, only a pump at the kitchen sink. Wood stove that she mastered at a young age….homemade butter, buttermilk, etc. Everything scratch! My mom liked mixes and easy things….I wish she had learned more from my Grandma but she didn’t, or if she did, she never shared it with me. Best biscuit recipe in the world! What I’d give to have it! I know she used lard….home rendered too! Everything was homemade. I miss “Mama” and her homemade biscuits, made every single day, her fried corn, soup that I just HAD to pick the okra out of because it was slimy (haha), fried chicken, desserts, etc…..she could cook everything with a bit of this, a bit of that and an egg sized piece of the other….no recipes, just hand measurements and everything was incredible. Now that I’m OLD, I miss not having those recipes! Mama would be so surprised that I now LOVE fried okra! She’s been gone since the late 1960’s but I miss her as much now as I did then. Cherish your Grandma while you can! She’s pure GOLD! ❤️❤️❤️
Your grandmother is so sweet. The tea looks great. What a great ideal on the Lemons and limes.
What beautiful aprons you received along with the corner bookmarks.
My mouth started to water when Grandma and Mom bit into the lemons. I love lemons. When I was little I would eat them like an orange. Yum! But you make things that are out of my reach. I can’t afford a freeze dryer, they are over $3,000.00 US dollars. I would only be able to make it with fresh citrus. But you own an apothecary so I can see how you need it for that. But please remember when you make these recipes not everyone has the money to buy a freeze dryer. I enjoy seeing the three generations.
You can use other methods but it requires a pump and buchner funnels... cheaper but does a similar job using more work and labor if you are doing big batches.... but gets the job done. Tyler Markwart explains (buchner funnel method by tyler markwart) this advice i have told and saved people hundreds... many of them heh
Fresh citrus is perfect!!!! The freeze dryer is an investment, but the amount of herbs and food saved has been huge!!
Regular dehydrators work almost as well, and can be reasonably inexpensive. The Nesco brand is very economical. Some ovens and air fryers even have dehydrator functions, which is how I started. Research it and see if that would work for you. Good luck.
You and your mom and grandmom look very youthful
First time I ever met Grandma.
Such sweet gifts from Lori ❤❤
Thanks to you lovely ladies my son and I have begun growing our own edible/ medicinal garden 🥰
I love watching and learning from your channel. You and your family are such a inspiration. You make me laugh and cry but in a good way way please keep sharing

This is so inspirational! Thank you so much for all of the efforts and energy that you and your family put into these videos!
Awww I miss my gramma 😢 she and I would garden together.
My kid would love those lemon slices! He loves the really short stuff!
I have been drinking Hibiscus and lemon peel tea for years - both are dehydrated and I drink it hot or cold all year through, when I get the sniffles I add a little ginger and honey - tastes amazing. In the summer I freeze it and then drink it as it melts - I also make lollipops for the grandbabies in the summer
Dude...made me start to tear up!! Super sweet aprons!! 😊
Again this time it was a beautiful video and story.

If you do Hibiscus with ginger roots and pineapple 🍍. With some of those lemon wheels! If you want a healthy add clove of garlic with clovess. So delicious if you sweeten with honey !
Love you guys and enjoy your videos so much!! I have learned so much from you. I have got my herb garden started because of you and your mom. I will be able to take care of my family and teach my daughters these things now.

What a beautiful gift to receive! So perfect 😍 you’ve both inspired so many of us to grow herbs, I literally just bought some lemon verbena plants on my birthday on Monday (3rd April) and they’re sitting on my desk as I’m waiting for the rain to stop so I can plant them outside. Blessings to you both, Kate xx
You gals are such herbal rock stars ! seriously the passion and knowledge you share with your RUclips audience is infectious! Just discovered you two days ago and I’m mapping out an medicinal herb garden thank you 🙏
Three generations, such a blessing to be together. If you have a great granddaughter, maybe have a four generations video. Tea tasting is so fun 😊

How great to see all three generations! Your grandma seems like a sweetie ☺️ Great job guys! 👏👏👏 How long do the lemons store for?
That looks simply amazing 💞. You have really inspired me to continue to learn about what we can forage and grow!!
I just planted my first hibiscus seeds ever! This vid has me so excited for them to grow! I had planned on using the buds in mead, but I didn't know about the cooling properties. So cool!
Thank you guys for all you do! You have inspired me to want to try some of these things that y’all are doing and to be a better gardener because I’m still fairly new at this even though I’ve been doing a park for years also to a fellow Virginian because I live right outside of Virginia I mean right out side of Richmond and Henrico, and plan on moving to the country within 5 years or back to the country.
Wow, great vlog! Thanks for sharing! I just dehydrated some organic lemon peels yesterday. I don’t have a freeze dryer yet. I’m going to try this tea! Blessings to all 🤗💜🇨🇦
I freeze my lemons in slices in the freezer. Works great!
I just can't wait to get a freeze dryer!!! It's still going to be a little while, but I'm so excited for when that time comes!
Ohh you will be amazed at it!
Wow so beautiful the gift tears on my eyes too 😊😢 I loved it
I want one for me lol 😅
Hibiscus tea has been my go to summer drink for several years now. I love it plain at room temperature. I just drink it out of a quart mason jar, and it is yummy. I will definitely try blending it with lemon balm.
Just found your channel and I really love it. I just started a channel and hope to see it grow like yours. Best to you all.
💛💛💛
I have read that book! I have been trying to find it again. Very hard to follow but them when it clicks it is amazing.
