Always gotta be one dick out there. Everyone has got to start somewhere. You will understand that first step one day when you move out of your moms basement.
Green jasper! I love that place we found sooo much. It's funny alot of ppl know this spot for agates, but me and my husband found sooo many different lovely finds.
That waterline agate at 3:30 is beautiful. Looks like a extremely beautiful area to hunt, I love those nature scenes. Lots of beautiful material to collect. Good video 🤘✌️🔥
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! This is my favorite area period. Great views, great camping, great rockhounding, and not too far away from home. I am not on Facebook but I will check out some of those other channels, thank you!
The spot you are calling "28 mi landslide" before the landslide maybe 5 yrs ago, we climbed only about 30 ft up that hill and dug out 3 crystals. All were at least 5 inches tall and 1 inch round, all were terminated nicely. We hunted forever, but only found the 3 pieces and some smaller shards. Across the road, on the downside of the slope we found ton of multicolored seam agate in small pieces that were amazing when tumbled.
I've suspected there are some big crystals in there, I once found a little 1 cm crystal all by itself on the surface there, but never anything that big! Nice!
@@BlazeGoesRockhounding well we did not find anything spectacular, some decent red jasper in the river by the public restrooms, then on up to the slide, did not find much looks like some more has come down since you were there. Climbed up the slide and found some small shards of the green, did not did dig in the holes though all looked kind of sketchy. Started to drive on up to 28 mile and Pyramid but the road was blocked by another slide. was a nice day out though. Larry
@@larrymays5413 if you went while it was dry, it makes it very difficult to see the material that is in the 28 Mile Creek Landslide. I’m glad you at least found a few things. The road beyond that rockslide blocking the road has some good spots, I am planning to venture out there this summer for another video. Hope you can get out there again and have find some stellar stuff!
@@larrymays5413 28 Mile Creek itself is the creek that runs up that valley. I call it the 28 Mile Creek Landslide because this spot doesn’t have a name as far as I know
what do you do with your rocks when you get home? Do you tumble them? Also how do you like to display them? I have so many that idk what to do with lol
I'm not currently able to display or tumble my finds unfortunately, though I have in the past. Right now I also just have way too many, but I am hanging on to a lot of my rocks so that I can use them for knapping in the future, and maybe do some lapidary work as well. I've found myself becoming a lot more selective in what I bring home as it piles up.
Stop broadcasting the hidden gems of our local backyard, it's not fair to the people who have been relishing the agates long before you ever found any!! Think before you post please 😊
one last thing inspirerer, check the shapes like those jaspers, spleen, livers, and everything fossilizes. That's me recent shares. thank you. SELF I WHAT AM I THAT THAT non-Duo rocks got feelings too hahaha adeiu😅
I will not like your video. I will not subscribe. I will not turn my tv up that loud just to hear you. Get better equipment.

Everytime i go to this area all the good camp spots near creek are full. End up way up the mountain and dont find much. Do you have any suggestions?
I keep finding these blue rocks at the beginning! What are they?
Nice. What do you do with them?
Mostly I just enjoy looking at them, but I also cut, tumble, polish, and give them away to people!
check out old guy adventures.... he runs into blue agate himself. And I believe he's from washington himself.
I believe he calls it ellen blue
😎👍✨
have you ever seen anything that looks like pet would but it's almost just like rust
to clean up your rocks you might want to soak in citric acid to get a better look at your specimens
How much does one cost?
👍
and keep those blue agates out of the sun. they will turn grey if you don't
@2:57 it looked like a demon skull/face, looke like it had the left eye gouged, also has nose and mouth. Creepy
Nice videos, it would be helpful if you could identify ever rock you show on camera.
Thanks for watching! I wish I could! I do not have a background in geology and do not know enough to identify everything I find. I’m learning though!
