No, they stay cool as they are rated for 9v but only use 8v
I have one I replaced the belts. It will FF rewind and play but it plays at a slow speed. Any suggestions?
On the back of the motor is a hole, it's a speed adjustment screw. You can try turning it up a little but if that doesn't work, you will need to replace the caps on the board!
