I'm lucky enough to work at London City and its always nice to have the smaller aircraft coming in - bit like the old days there though Air Antwerp is a fairly recent service. Used to be run by VLM
Very nice! What a pleasant surprice to see EBAW in this vid. Although a live in Holland, I'm from Antwerp. Spend many hours there plain spotting. In the 70's I took my first flight also from RWY 29 in a Fokker F-27 (I think they operated Fairchild's at that time). Hopefully Air Antwerp stays in the air for a long, long time. Succes, and keep the blue side up!
Words can't describe this video, I love flying in all weather and during any time of the day. Taking off and landing in rainy weather is awesome, that sunset is beautiful, cloud surfing is awesome as you go climb or preparing to land, the night lights of the city is amazing, and the view of the city is just wow. You really went all out in this video and I just love it all. Very amazing and beautiful video, thank you for sharing this to us.
Really glad you enjoyed this video Shannon, we did get lucky with some amazing views on this film. Fokker 50 probably not the best known type of aircraft but the views make up for it :) Thank you!
7:06 Looks a bit weird when you see buildings and equipment placed at the end of airstrip. You just can imagine what happens if plane overruns in case of abrupted take-off
Don’t know if it’s just shoddy editing or what really happened, but in the one landing the pilot is say “final approach briefing complete” and the plane is like 3 seconds before the runway threshold.
The countdown tells the pilot how many feet above the ground they are. In larger aircraft it’s not always as easy to sense this without the call outs due to the main landing gear being well behind the pilots. The call outs are also used as cues for certain actions like retarding the power during the flare.
From London to Antwerp back to London.....back & forth daily.... Y’all have to be careful for flying to London City Airport. That’s downtown.... It could be disaster to city if y’all fly careless and unproperly......boom!!!!

The views on that last approach sequence...oh my goodness. Breathtaking to say the least. Another stellar video
Beautiful night vision of London. You get to see this most days & they pay you as well. I like your office. Great video, keep them coming.
14:16 What an impressive view! :O Great production JustPlanes! Congrats and greetings from Argentina.
What a beautiful trip on the F-50! Absolutely incredible! Thank you for letting us ride along! All the best from the west coast of Florida USA!!!
Some cracking footage there. Glide slope into London City looks seriously extreme from the cockpit view. Must be one heck of a ride in.
The glide scope can't be used into london city as it's too steep same for the Auto Pilot. Pilots need special certification to land at this airport.
You gotta love those Fokkers!
Wow, that photography is amazing, the video and audio very well edited, and the flight was so scenic! Amazing video!!!
Amazing views!! Loved the approaching shots during last landing in London City! Thanks for sharing this masterpiece! Regards from BCN!
Thanks very much for watching and glad you enjoyed it too!

@@justplanes A plane is a plane, big or small, they all still do one purpose, it's to fly from Point A to Point B. :)
Une superbe video, bravo Air Antwerp!

Nice work. Just a question, what was your TAS (true air speed) during cruise?
Very nice.
What a wonderful video ! It just reminded me how beautiful this job is 😍
By the way, may I know the music at 10:30 please ?
14:20 excellent visibility, night time, final for Runway 27 at London City. There’s your money shot!

Would have been better with just the raw audio and no distracting music
Please do some 360 videos too
11:50🤗
Oh. My. Gosh! A 30-second commercial, followed by a 3:23 commercial. Just to watch a brief video. You have got to be kidding!
Whenever I have used London City we have taken off eastwards and landed westwards so I have never flown over Canary Wharf. I feel cheated!
that departure is not antwerp though?!
Why do pilot have to countdown before landing?
Altura sobre a pista até tocar no solo. É o piloto automático
The countdown tells the pilot how many feet above the ground they are. In larger aircraft it’s not always as easy to sense this without the call outs due to the main landing gear being well behind the pilots. The call outs are also used as cues for certain actions like retarding the power during the flare.
Pithy that Fokker does not exist anymore as airplane manufacturer.
15:41 flybe😭
Ya thats too bad indeed. We filmed them a long time ago, sad to see them go!
just heard the news...
my only flight on them happened to be from London City :(
@@CraZy291 Me too. The crew were really nice. I hope they get new jobs soon.
