Two suggestions: lightweight waders for the flooded bunkers and maybe a camera that can be pushed through narrow openings or down ventilation shafts when doors are blocked?
Amazing video again my friend!! What a location.. So much History to find there.. And everything is still in stunning condition too! Thanks for sharing, be careful out there!
I just can't imagine how overwhelming it would have to be to be walking around in such a place like that. Just incredible. Not only is it absolutely beautiful there, but history is literally everywhere. I can't thank you enough for sharing this fantastic site with us. Just amazing! Please keep the outstanding videos coming and God bless you and your family, my friend!
Amazing stuff. Lovely to see original light switches, WT80 stoves, painted brickwork and original slogans in the bunkers. The three embrasure MG turret at 14:11 is a Type 3P7 turret, 17 tons of steel between 120 to 130 mm thick. Some beautiful bunkers up there.
Crazy Adventures, you & EE progressively discover more clues along with intact bunkers. Priceless hand painted work on those walls as well. Thank you for sharing, My Best Jesse
Great location, can't believe that bunker oven is still in there and the walls in such good shape. Thanks for sharing this place gets better with each part you share. Can't wait for the next episode. Take care and stay safe my friend.
Again one of the best video by the most hardworking person who's going to field and do research rather than copy paste videos what others do, most hardworking guy unbiased historian who tells side of losers too. Let's make him one million at earliest in subscription. Respect for brave loyal German soldiers.
For the age of these bunkers, they seem to be in pretty good shape. As you were going out the first one I enjoyed seeing the light switches on the wall. It was unbelievable to see that complete bunker oven . The handy work of the soldiers to make it look like a fire place was interesting. The painted tiles on the walls looked almost real. I guess they wanted them to look as much like home as they could. So much to see in this video.
It is somewhat surprising that as many of these places have survived as intact as they are. Thanks for bringing them to us, I realize how hard your job is.
Incredible. That is a very interesting bunker system and the old gun was really something. Thanks for making these videos so we can all see this part of history.
I think you found something REALLY important here. This is by far the best preserved WW2 bunker I have ever seen (at least based on first few minutes of your film). This really ought to be protected and preserved. It's an important piece of history. Certainly I have not seen any other of your films where you have found so many original fittings in situ. Incredible. This really ought to be a site that is protected.
It’s very nice to see the bunker oven complete. Amazing bunker . Thanks so much 💜💜💜👍👍👍 can’t believe there is an actual gun sitting there. Nice finds there, I think you should explore some more there
Extremely interesting bunker . They made it as comfy as possible with the bunker oven. Bunker was well made and in really good shape. Thanks for taking us there.
4:13 That first ammo storage room still had the light fixtures on the wall! How cool! That first bunker, were it not for the peeling paint and the rusted metal parts, it looks like they could have left it just yesterday!
@@WW2HistoryHunter was that really the original PAK gun?? I question it because it just looked in too good of condition, the tire rubber wasn’t degraded and there weren’t any signs of age or rust.

Your video certainly helps to see the importance this site had to the German forces. Protect the radar at all cost. which would be a normal thought during WWII and the importance of radar stations to all combatants... Be Safe and Be Well...
Was the blue writing on the wall of the first bunker done by the soldiers that lived there or by the builders of the bunker? Very cool to see the complete oven and sink along with the metal covers in the escape tunnel. Then to be walking along and find a German penny in a trash dumping location just laying there. Imagine how many people have walked by there just thinking it was trash and not thinking it may containing treasures from the past. Then seeing the gun tucked back into it’s shelter. You are so lucky to live near such historical locations.

Another great video the bunker with the complete oven and barracks facilities amazing especially with the German writing this site just gets better and better 😎
From now on, I'm buying German paint! I can't believe how well some of it has stood up through all this time. Very cool site, and finding coal stoves too! You should really pack a cheap pair of rubber boots so you can put them on and go into some of the wet places. While they may suffer damage from moisture, they could also be less disturbed because of it too. Don't you think?
Another great video and location. Why would they have painted the walls to give the impression of brick? Would that have been an officers location perhaps?
It is still a special location, with so many original details. the march is going well, but you should lead in the German language. 10:10 Is that cannon original and left there? 2:20 wonder how they got the steel dome on site.
As fr as i know all guns there had a purpose there. Steel dome was transported by huge special trucks and wagons. They made roads into the area. Thanks Oma.
Did you save/recover the German bunker stove at the start of the video? I hope so. I also hope that you and Eagle Eyes got back there to scratch around in the rubbish dump!
Every time we turn a corner we see something different all the time not very often do you get to see them bunker ovens I hope that you have one restored for yourself well thank you very much for sharing that with us that's why I'm proud to be a German
It seems that a basic principle follows through with a lot of these installations and that is the standardization of a lot of their materials and fittings, such as doors, windows and armored doors. Out of curiosity, were there companies formed that specialized in stripping these installations for useful items and did people ever use these for homes after the war ?

I can't believe you guys didn't have a closer look at that gun.
More to come later. Thanks.
Don't you think?
well we shall see. Often we carry so much gear that only the most needed will be brought each time. Thanks for comment and for watching Jim
Another great video and location. Why would they have painted the walls to give the impression of brick? Would that have been an officers location perhaps?
i think it was just a way of making it a bit like home perhaps ? Thanks joe H
Hi HH
There’s probably special items
All over waiting to be uncovered
Cheers
There might be more then we see Martin :) Thanks.
Thanks Oma.
@@WW2HistoryHunter Was it some kind of a museum?
Did you save/recover the German bunker stove at the start of the video? I hope so. I also hope that you and Eagle Eyes got back there to scratch around in the rubbish dump!
No we did not it belongs there i think. Thanks
So that's how the bunker ovens were set up with brick walls amazing.👍👍 plus an anti-tank gun also. 👍👍
yes finally i could show some of that. Great place Robert and more to come soon :)
Amazing that gun was still there! Also something good could be behind that door? Did you keep the stove?
No no my friend , the stove belongs to the place , not me. Thanks for watching.
@@WW2HistoryHunter was wondering i would leave it also. Thanks for the video's
The History Hunter

Every time we turn a corner we see something different all the time not very often do you get to see them bunker ovens I hope that you have one restored for yourself well thank you very much for sharing that with us that's why I'm proud to be a German
Thanks for comment and for watching.
I really loved that place
Thanks Dirk
Holy Madonna that was a cool video of the artwork slogan.
Great place and glad to have shared with you :)
It seems that a basic principle follows through with a lot of these installations and that is the standardization of a lot of their materials and fittings, such as doors, windows and armored doors. Out of curiosity, were there companies formed that specialized in stripping these installations for useful items and did people ever use these for homes after the war ?
Not that i know of. Thanks for watching.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, you make a brilliant father and great video's too 👍👍👍
wow very much appreciated Paul G and greetings from us.
@@WW2HistoryHunter Happy and safe new year sir 👍👍👍
My German sucks but seems like something about "real satisfaction is service in/of the fatherland" on the wall there.
Thanks for watching.
Amazing bunker oven, too bad you could take it with and restore it! What did the German writing on the wall say?
Very glad you enjoyed it and thanks :)
No boots, no shovel, no flashlight? Still a great video. Better upgrade that backpack.
