Great site, HH. It's refreshing to see a site cared for and open to the public. The amount of work required to cut through that much granite is staggering. This is another excellent video presentation; I can't wait for the other parts. May both of you be safe and well. I trust EE is recovering from his pneumonia.
Totally agree , so much work involved. Such a interesting place. EE is starting to feel much better now. Was such 2 tough weeks for him but now he is smiling :) Thanks my friend :)

Amazing preservation of the German positions, they certainly knew all about defensive work. Thank you for sharing with us as always, and glad to hear that EE is recovering well from his bike accident.
EE is healing up every day. This was recorded some time ago my friend. Thanks for your FANTASTIC support. EE says thank you here and we send our greetings from us :)
So pleased 😀 to see Eli is feeling better and also you are doing ok what a lovely video what wonderful scenery take care look forward to seeing your next adventure in history hunter 😊
It's always nice to see a spectacular location like this one, not just being maintained, but, actively being managed, signposted, and illuminated, so that people can explore and learn about history as they wish. The German crews certainly had an amazing beautiful outlook to point their guns at, and the amount of work, cutting out those tunnels, and running trenches, is as always, just astounding. Looking forward to seeing what else you guys found in this amazing place. Cheers to you both! EE, hope you're feeling much, much, better! Stay well both of you!
We loved it yes and such a interesting place it is. Lots of work involved creating that there. EE is healing up , slowly but surely. Thanks so much my friend :)
Great video HH and EE. Always enjoy your Atlantic Wall tours, especially if they have tunnels. Thank you for the tour, can't wait to see parts 2 and 3. Hope EE is getting better.
It’s hard to imagine the amount of work that was put into building these locations. What a surprise to see the webbing for the camouflage canvas still there. Always interesting to see the tunnel systems and follow along with you as you explore them. Very nice well kept location.
Very interesting exploration history hunter and eagle eyes thanks for sharing it with us I hope that Eagle eyes is feeling better by now I look forward to seeing exploration x with you guys
I was stationed near Nurnberg in the 1980s. I really liked Germany. I regret not going out and seeing these important sights including West Berlin and the concentration camps. Thank you for your channel.
What a beautiful area!! Loved the underground storage areas; very clever. Curious at 23:50,top left corner of video, I noticed what looked like a "small" cross. Why is it there? Looking forward to part 2. Thanks.
What a great place so many underground bunker systems and ammo storages. I'm really glad everything is open to explore. Thank you for the amazing video history, hunter, and Eagle Eye's.
As soon as I heard Eagle Eye's voice I went "This is from an older trip." What a great site. Do love these coastal artillery sites. Enjoyed you pointing out the building the band used. Reminded me of Building 205 at Fort Worden State Park. Was a coastal artillery fort here in the state of Washington which was the home of the 14th Coastal Artillery Regiment. Building 205 was the barracks for the 14th CAC (Coastal Artillery Corps) Band. Unlike the main barracks where the troops lived in 40-bunk rooms, band members lived in three-bunk rooms. Definitely were a lot of tunnels there and they are very interesting not to mention the buildings, foundations of buildings there and the trenches. Great that at the gun site they still had the mil-radiant plates around the gun pedestal. Thanks for taking us along as usual!
Yes a earlier trip that is. Interesting story of the band my friend. This place is very interesting and will share more soon. Thanks and keep building those models :)
Ah, now we see the proper way to display a WWII location. After the recent finding of what could have been an amazing location full of incredibly interesting buildings and bunkers and tunnels, only to find them completely locked down, this is a breath of fresh air. And to see a lot of the original features, such as camouflage netting and metal parts is a real bonus. Can't wait for the next installment from this place 🙂
What a beautiful place! I'm so happy they are taking care and letting people in this tunnel system I love how they've put lights in there. Their trenches are fascinating. Their own fortified road more or less. Thank you HH and EE for taking me along on this grand adventure. Eagle Eyes, I'm so glad you are doing well. Both of you take care and stay safe. 💖💯
So much history still around that can be seen and the view, was there anything out on that island that's out from the gun emplacement. Great video and Hope EE make a full recovery, stay safe, and see you on the next one..
Very interesting position to walk around, great to see that it is being looked after and people are allowed to visit. Fantastic views over the sea at the end, look forward to the next instalment.
Sometimes the best discoveries are made when you are not searching for them! What a fantastic location! I absolutely love the fact that this location is open to the public to explore are see the remnants of the Second World War! Thanks for sharing this with all of us!❤
What an amazing view and an an amazing tunnel system! EE sounds so much younger, so i guess this is a little older recording? I hope he's recovering from pneumonia ok.
Another incredible maze of tunnels in a mountain constructed by the Germans! The Germans must have kept miners very busy building this group of tunnels in the mountain. As I follow you on your tour I consider how you keep from getting lost in the maze underground. I would be very confused! Thanks for taking us along!
I do have to chuckle when you comment about "massive" tunnels. Have you ever seen the factory codenamed concrete in Ebensee ? 400ft high and 100ft across inside the mountains.
This video had to be taken during the summer. No way that green during the winter. That water would be frozen in front of the tunnels. But, great video!!

The amount of work required. Do you mean the amount of Jews that it took to do this. Day and night until they died. It's not amazing it's an atrocity.
