All the other buildings in that area of the park are also [something] Factory. The ride is called Lipovitan Rocket☆Luna and like every other ride in that part of the park, it's sponsored, this time by a drink called Taisho Ripobitan D.
Well we are getting a Monsters, Inc. themed coaster at DHS and that's gonna be Disney's first suspended coaster and I'm very excited to check it out once it opens in a few years!

I was on that ride and I think you supposed to scream or clapp on one point of the ride. If you’re loud enough you get a higher score and the pink lady gets rescued by Lipovitan D Man. It’s a vitamin company and there are videos in the queue that explain this. Maybe you guys had a fast pass or it was empty that day that you didn’t see the videos throughout the queue.
I thought this would be the ideal model for the Monsters Inc. door warehouse coaster going to Hollywood Studios. Gerstlauer's website says they can they can even do a vertical elevator. Doesn't mention anything about launches, but with the forward and backward swinging ( just like the doors n the movie), I would think it would feel like it's accelerating and stopping faster than it actually is, so a few tire drives probably wouldn't be that hard to work in. They could work as block zones and probably do multiple layouts within the factory to really make it seem like doors are flying all around you (not to mention multiple credits). Of coarse this is just a dream, because we know Disney's going to use Vekoma!
@@ethanshackleton True, but Vekoma is all too happy to give them what they ask for and soak up that ludicrous budget. The question is does Disney ever look at what other manufacturers are doing to see who has the best fit for their needs?
@ Disney needs reliability, which cuts the number of manufactures in half, no Gerstlaur (too prone to wear and tear) Premier (too low capacity) or RMC (too extreme or low capacity), they’ve worked with Intamin and Vekoma before so that’s who they’re going to stay with. Before you say B&M remember they had basically had no family coasters until ten years ago.
What an odd ride. In the video, the 40% appears to be your... "Fight power"? And then the lady thanks you, and then says something about "if you had been a moment longer..." (Hard to hear this bit) And then when the bad guys showed up, there was a moon quake. ...yeah, that didn't clear up anything. It's still strange even if you understand the Japanese LOL

If Disney want an element they’ll get that element, the manufacturer doesn’t matter when the budget is ludicrous.

@@timk987 that’s why I’m excited OLC chose Intamin for the new space mountain at Tokyo Disney. Hopefully more manufactures come to all the parks 🤲

That was a cool ride. I remember a few sudden stops that i found annoying. Perfect for my little daughter to ride a big girl coaster.
