#ren #reaction - Видеоклипы
Every once in a blue moon an artist comes along that stops you in your tracks; that possesses that otherworldly *IT* . That transcends age groups, preconceptions and genres. Ren is such an artist.
Absolutely! It's a Blessing.
Agreed
I've been on a Ren binge since this song dropped. He is a generational talent. ( I'm 65 y.o.)
I’m 70 and I’m right there with you.
Very well put my friend
After 100+ times of hearing this I am still welling up. I can't help it. No music or in fact any piece of art has ever moved me so much.
I'm freaking 47 years old and Ive seen every reaction to his songs, like it's a drug. Can't get enough of watching someone experience this for the first time. I mean, I am a life long musician and maybe I'm just blown away by the immesurable talent he possesses but damn, it's been a long ass time since I was so moved by an artist.
@@Hello_I_am_Jeff after my first view of it. I wrote in the comments something like "One of the greatest pieces of art I've ever seen" Then I started questioning myself "Am I crazy or was that as amazing as I think it was?" That's when I first typed in "Hi Ren reaction" and quickly realized that no I wasn't crazy.
Yeah...still goosebumps after 100+ hearing. 😁
@@Hello_I_am_Jeff indeed its addictive to watch people experience it for the first time not even havin the slightest idea whats goin to happen. 😁
@@Hello_I_am_Jeff It's the best when you find an artist that really resonates with you, it ignites a spark again that many of us lose as some point, kinda brings us back home.
Ren is the closest thing to a modern bard. If you are blown away by this you should look at the Tale of Jenny and Screech.
YES, but you must listen to the full trilogy, which includes Violet's Tale. Search for the Tale of Jenny and Screech(full version), otherwise you won't get the full story.
Imo it is his other masterpiece. Make sure ypu do the full version.
Ren is a Poet, a Singer, a Rapper, a Musician, a Composer, a Songwriter, a Producer, an Actor......an Artist. Keep going down the Ren rabbit hole, there's literally nothing he can't do. This video is completely LIVE....No pre-recorded music and lip-syncing here. Don't miss out on the fact that Ren was also in a band...."The Big Push". They too have lots of videos, mostly of Busking (street performing).
Ren needs all of our Thoughts, Prayers and Love right now. At 17, Ren had been discovered by Sony Records, Busking in England. They signed him to a contract and he was on his way. As he was recording his first album, he got incredibly sick. He went to the British doctors, complaining of severe pain all over his body and in his joints. The Doctors could find nothing wrong with him and insisted that it was all in his head.
Ren spent the next 8 years of his life, looking for answers, going to hundreds of different doctors. The medical community kept saying it was ALL in his head and treating as much, with Psycho-Active/Tropic drugs for his "Mental Disorder". Meanwhile, Ren was stuck in bed 23 hours a day because of the overwhelming pain. All of this nearly drove him crazy as he KNEW he was experiencing the pain that they said was made up.
A few years ago, he found a Doctor in Belgium that finally diagnosed Ren with Lyme Disease. He had his answer. However, because the Lyme disease went untreated for 8 years, it Ravaged his body to include his brain. He even received Stem Cell treatment in Canada a while ago, but the damage was already done. He is currently BACK in Canada, for 6+/- months, to try and repair some of that damage. This will include multiple surgeries. He is there by himself, without friends or family to comfort him through this grueling ordeal.
Oh man, that's a horrible story to live. I have a friend who almost died because of Lyme and was bed ridden for 2 years. He had to re-learn how to walk again, he was paralyzed from the waist down. Luckily, he did find a holistic practitioner who helped him recover and heal. I should reach out to Ren and connect them, at least make him aware of this person, no guarantees but miracles happen every day and I have no doubt in my mind, he will come back stronger. I will pray and keep sending love and light to Ren!!! Thank you for sharing this story. Much love!
Allow me to just make a minor correction here (as I've seen you post this in a few reactions now): the stem cell treatment was done in the states by a Dr. in Los Angeles who did this for free (just want to acknowledge whoever this generous Dr. is). As Ren wrote in his gofundme, "What I didn't know at the time was that giving back in that way would save my life. Purely by chance a stem cell doctor found my videos online and offered me a free stem cell transplant, if I could make my way to LA. He told me this would help rebuild my immune system and make me strong enough to live a relatively normal life. After reading the email in shock, I booked a flight to Los Angeles that same week. I come from a poor family so the cost of this kind of treatment (in the hundreds of thousands) was never in the realms of something I thought would be possible."
@@jacquelinevanbierk Lyme sucks so much. One of my my family friend was paralyzed on half of his body for a long time because of it. If one creature should be completely exterminated it's ticks.
John Gates, I have been watching many reaction videos since I discovered him. I see you commenting in many of them and I appreciate you telling his story. thank you!
Jacqueline, you must take a look at The Tale of Jenny and Screech (the full version). You will be amazed!!!
INDEED
#facts
The full version is a MUST!!! 😊
Some ppl know me as hope , Some ppl know me as the voice that you hear when you loosen the NOOSE on the rope could be the greatest lyrics I've ever heard ♥️
I’m almost 60, and I’ve never seen anything like this before. Or, had it hit me so hard. This is art.
Like everyone else I was totally blown away the first time I saw Hi Ren, and it resonated deeply with me.
I wanted to run around all my family and friends, demanding "You have GOT to watch this!"
That's why I've watched so many reactions (it's my new hobby 🤣) - it's like hearing it again for the
first time through someone else, each reactor adding their own layer of meaning and insight.
And I still get goose bumps and floods of tears every damn time when he stands up.
I feel like he is lifting us up with him, saying "It's ok, fam. We got this."
The more I watch Hi Ren, the more impressed I am with the sheer craftsmanship on display.
Every word, every note, every riff, every voice is carefully selected and slotted into exactly the right spot.
It's a masterpiece, as well constructed as any symphony or play, and it has the impact of a freight train.
Your reaction is one of my absolute favourites, JVB.
You got it straight away, and your face was a study of human emotions.
I was also impressed by your own 'spoken word' bit at the end, it was heartfelt and insightful and loving.
You're good people, Jacqueline. 🫂
I'll be back. 😎
"Ren you have to make a musical" - Wait till you see The Take of Jenny and Screech (Full version with Violet)
I can't wait!
Welcome to Rens Rabbit hole. Next up is The Tale of Jenny and Screech (the full version) WITHOUT THE SUBTITLES. It's Shakespearian masterpiece! and an emotional roller coaster 🙂
Oh boi...I can't wait!
BARDCORE LOVE REN
Ren is a total Bard-Arse rapping raconteur a roving minstrel that meandered out of the middle ages into modern times to mesmerize us with his magnificence.
Nice understanding reaction from you. ❤️
You neglected to mention his blues and reggae ability is also off the charts.
Everyone in ‘The Big Push’ is a fantastic musician, who all also write their own music.
@@supertuscans9512 but this wasn't a Big Push song! So I neglected nothing in context
I might be wrong about this but I had the impression that ‘The Big Push’ was REN’s band but maybe I’m mistaken and it was formed by someone else and he was in someone else’s band.
@@supertuscans9512 Yeah, but this is only Ren with guitar and Pig nurse, no band
JVB, Great reaction! It really touches everyone with its universal reaching extreme rawness. He is an incredible artist that is a masterful storyteller, rapper, singer, and busker. Was waiting for you to get to this. Thanks again.
Thank you Mark. ;)
Hi Jacqueline many thanks for supporting ren the line that gets me from this song is when you hear the voice you hear when you loosen the noose on the rope it was the best voice I ever heard in my life and today I am a 67 year old great grandad with a beautiful wife and 3 amazing children my youngest daughter is miss United Kingdom and my son is at university getting a degree in music so thank you ren and a massive thanks to you Jacqueline for all the love you send out to people a round the world many thanks love and respect from the UK 👍👍👍👍👍👍🌟😀😀 amazing channel and a supper star lady 👍
Thank you so much Superstar Dave!
Brilliant reaction, he is such a multi talented artist. That speaks to so many people.
This is total performance art , poetry and raw honesty, this truly is Shakespear in the 21st century.
Wow amazing
Thank you.
Ren is THE most versatile artist I have come across. And belive me, I've had a lot of time 🤣 he reaches forward and grabs your soul
i love watching that moment when a musician goes from "this is good" to "omg this is art"
Ren...🥰👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The chord progression and the movement in the beginning and end represents the eternal dance he's talking about at the end of the video
I LOVE that when you heard the voice of hope's "source" you pulled out your cross necklace. That, I'm sure was a "risk" for you. Thank you for being venerable and real!!!
Hey Jacqui.
I have to say, you are one of few that "got it" right from the beginning.
It's not mental illness, as quite a few suggested, rather, the internal struggle we have. We may not all see it in us, but it is there. It's part of the "human condition"
A song about hope and light at the end of the tunnel. A very important and powerful message, especially for those that are lost in themselves.
❤
Brilliant reaction. Ive seen close to 100 Ren reactions and yours was so inspiring. Thank you for your positivity! Beautiful reaction vid and I hope you find more of Ren's music. Subscribed! 🥰🙏🏽❤️
truth...its the same with me ....i am crying and laughing out loud every time watching..it gets me always..nearly every reaction shows people in a daytime mood and end up in pure emotion....❤...love from a german human
Thank you and welcomeTandy! I look forward to hearing and seeing more of Ren!
Ren is such a beautiful soul, thanks for the great reaction!! Peace❣
The "Ren Reaction" has become such a popular RUclips target since this video released! And I think yours is one of the better ones. This song has touched so many lives, in different way,s that so many of us can relate to, and it's cathartic watching other people react. Thanks for your insights!
Thank you for your beautiful reaction! This song/art/performance/rap is very powerful and relatable and touched me deeply! Ren is a musical genius! Thank you for sharing your reaction 😊
Thank you Brigitte!
wow he is just amazing.....and that voice.....no words...great reaction
just be sure he s gonna be the voice for many looses nooses... god bless him
Another soul snatched by the genius ren
Can't wait for the next reaction!
Great reaction. I've seen this song like 40 times and I still get emotional thinking of the times he was on camera in desperate tears sharing his suffering. I've been through the ringer too and I love that he is not only recovering but his suffering is paying dividends and helping people. I wish him all the success in the world.
The tales of Jenny and Screech full is a epic piece of story telling 🤘
Love all I've heard and seen from Ren also chalk outlines live with chinchilla for singing
What you want and the hunger for Rap so much to absorb the man is a genius ✌️❤️🤘 new sub from Scotland 🏴
turn the captions off.. they don't keep up and take your attention away from the performance.....
Too late.
I meant to and got sucked into Ren's performance I forgot. Next time, I agree.
There is also a wonderful duet and song he sings with Chinchilla "Chalk Outlines", which is a great performance, and shows of his singing voice. But also a lot of videos with his band The Big Push. Oh, and great rap videos as well. There is a lot to discover from him, and for a lot of people he is one the most surprising and talented artists since a couple of months. For me he is!
A stunning piece of music that transcends that tag into pure art.
I'm 54, and it has captured me in a way I thought a new song couldn't, in my cynical old age.
👌 I've always loved your positivity!! Keep it up.
As far as another Ren reaction you could put all his content on the wall and throw a dart at it while blindfolded and get a winner. Can't miss!!!
Waiting for your choice.
Thank you, I appreciate that!
The thing about great art is that taps into something already inside us. It finds something hidden or brings into focus something vague and hazy and in doing so it is transformative.
Amen!
Such a fantastic, heartfelt, and intelligent reaction. Thank you, this was fantastic.
He's on next level. I love your style. I have been watching this & other's reactions for the last couple of days. I was in a pretty dark place & I can tell you. In just the last couple of days. I am coming out of that. What he brings out in people of all ages. Grown men crying. He's touched the world. People like you help add another level to his work as we all tell each other part of our stories. We need more reality in this superficial world. Everyone's getting so tired of that scene. I'll be watching more of your reactions.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you're coming out of it, we are in this together!!!
He could make a movie of his life story with this masterpiece in it.
Nice genuine well spoken reaction. It's such a superb piece of art in so many ways ❤
Your reaction. Priceless. Like me. Jawdropping eye? Hahaaaaaa
I'm struggling to recall a moment in any song that is more triumphant than when he begins to belt out, "So cower at the man I'll become, when I sing at the top of my lungs. I won't retire, I'll stand in your fire, I'll inspire the weak to be strong."
His page has soo much good music -enjoy:)
When I was a young naive teen I got in an argument with my father at breakfast. It wasn't a fight just a discussion. I dont remember the exact topic but do remember the lesson he thought me at the end and how he did it.
Some flyers came with our paper. He held out 1 of them and said 'This paper is blank'. Ofcourse I disagreed. I could clearly see the print. There was no way he could be right. Untill he turned the flyer around and revealed the other side of the paper without any print.
It sounds stupid but it really had an impact on teen me. He tought me to always consider more than 1 perspective. You never know what someone else sees that you don't. And to even be critical of the believes you hold to be true.
I really enjoyed your message at the end.
Thx, i loved watching you appreciate art...you were glowing...almost orgasmic
Somehow I missed this reaction 7 months ago. Found Ren in Feb. And really love your reaction. Gope it continues to inspire you as he does me.❤
thank you for this reaction...loved it ❤
You became so real during this song. I love this you. This is art and art is transformative. Subbed
The best response/review /comments to Hi Ren I has heard so far...your face was a picture..but you connected with it,responded to it..felt it..powerful.
Sometimes I feel like ren is the normal person & everyone is caught up in life..not living..going through the motions..
Creativity, awareness is where it's at for me..
Brilliant response..check out his back catalogue.. tales of Jenny & screech..subscribed..❤
Love your reaction and the way you can tell the music affected you. Ren is amazing.
Thank you!
Thank you Jacqui. Your last comments about giving props for resilience are very inspiring. I agree, there would be many people out there who feel they have the weight of the world on their shoulders. Still they get up every day and soldier on without a word to anyone about the aches and pains they are going through. It takes a strong person to do this. So if you are feeling down and downtrodden, remember you are strong, your circumstances may not allow you to show this but persevere because circumstances always change and you WILL see the light at the end of the tunnel. God Bless you.🙏🏻
You nailed this reaction
Great comment after this performance from Ren. Makes me feel better again. He made a lot of songs, following him on his side. Admire his strength. Glad there are people like him who press your nose on the real life and how hard it can be, but also the good things who also be there and can help you.
i'm on a Ren rabbit hole ever since discovering "Hi Ren" a few days ago. Your reaction is really insightful and you articulated it beautifully. Discovering Ren has been unexpected and inspiring.
Seeing hundred reactions of Ren's song,
and watching yours and your comments,
there's something I noticed that makes me even realize more the conciousness on every detail that he has introduced on this master piece.
The importance of WHEN/HOW he does anything on his play.
All STORIES have a beginning and an End due to their limited lenght in time, they are limited.
So we add to them... a purpose... a final explanation, a fight with a final result, a moral argument, etc...etc..etc..
And hearing you (and I don't mean at all to correct you at all, since I also fell on the same. I think we all fall into that)
There is a moment when you mentioned -at the end of his singing part-
"...And he won"... (I'm sure we all fell into that one)
What I just noticed THANKS TO YOU
Its that He is also implying that all stories, in order to reach a purpose, need that 'beginning/end'.
And as an artist, he could have sang that last part also... but he choosed not to do it.
And I just realized that He has magnifically placed "the story" on the singing part.
And Real Life 'AWAY' FROM THE MUSIC PART... on HIS monologue.
Doing this conciously, he has transcended, way beyond the "Story"
"Where there are no winners or loosers...because life is a pendulum"
Very smartly he has hooked us onto the story, to punch us in the stomach and tell us that... life, might very well not be one.
.
Because we might have to accept that all this circus of life it very well may not have ANY PURPOSE AT ALL,
and his life advice, coming from his own living experiences, is that we better start to use ACCEPTANCE to deal with it.
Only he might know this but...
On this Instagram/tiktok,tweeter era,
He may very well be trying to tell us to STOP LIVING ON STORIES and accept life as it is,
because understanding that this circus might not have a universal purpose,(and as terryfiyng at its sounds..). its also a purpose on itself.
ACCEPTANCE is the key message.
And we have to deal with it with care because as soon as we Pintch it with some grames of hope...
...and we might very well return to create another story.
But this time, will be your own.
And not someone's elses.
Genius.
Good reaction. I'm sure will enjoy other things from Ren, a very special talent.
Your reaction to this incredible piece of Art with a capital A was right on!
Desde argentina.
I loved your reaction to this amazing work of art :)
Wonderful reaction, analysis and commentary!
Thanks Jaqueline, for one of best reactions of this video from Ren.
Thank you so much Jeff!
I recommend Ren and Chinchilla singing Chalk outlines. I also hope you listen to Sick boi.
🤓🇸🇪
Great reaction! I've watched about 100 reactions to this and it doesn't get old. New subscriber here and looking forward to getting some help with my voice. I've got a million and one song lyrics in my head and need to carry a tune lol
Awesome reaction ❤ thank you
Thank you for supporting Ren!
You got it in one, beautifully summarised. You will be pleased to know that the musical you so desire already exists. In 3 parts, Jenny's Tale, Screech's Tale & Violet's Tale can be downloaded as one video which lasts approx 13 minutes. It is essential that the parts are watched in the order that I have listed them. Ren is a true genius. Welcome to his world.
Thank you, I'm super excited and grateful to have come across such talented artist and be surrounded by like minded people who see, share and appreciate his gift.
lol start it over as many time as you need!!! ive seen this song prolly a 150 times! Masterpiece
Also, Bravo so speaking the voice of "hope" yourself :) God bless. You obviously have much experiential knowledge, much like myself,
I enjoyed your reaction very much and I also like your little speech at the end. You found the right words, just as Ren did in "Hi Ren". I saw so many other reactions on "Hi Ren" that I can't count anymore, but you there the first person who was standing while reacting and I really love that, because your body language is so natural and connecting.
When I saw "Hi Ren" for the very first time two lines caught me. The first one was "because I always come back". I could relate to this so much, because whatever happened in my life at some point depression or self-doubt came back. The other line was, as he stood up, because this was so powerful und intense. And still this song gives me chills every time I hear it, even though I heard about a hundred times. Fun fact: after hearing this so often, my brain was able to see two different guys instead of just Ren, when it's getting back and forth. It always takes a while to realize: this is just Ren.
Thank you for sharing that. I love the line you mentioned as well. 💗 words are powerful, we really have to monitor our inner voice at times.
You know your sh#t and you had such a genuine reaction. Subscribing 😎
This has got to be one of my favorite reaction to this artsy/poetic/song/performance. I really enjoyed your personal input , well said. As I've said before this is so relatable to everyone because we all have dealt with self doubt, insecurities, questioning our self worth and place in this human experience that we all must go through.
Thank you so much!
Such a fantastic reaction. Thank you.
Thank you Steven!
I used to shout bad things at the universe as an angry youth then at 16 I got drunk, slept in a car bad and got deep vein thrombosis. More confusion and misdiagnosis and I woke from an operation and couldn't move my right leg. About a year of rehab I regained 95% but the mental battle something so random did to a bulletproof teen still remains. I have come to realise that side does energise me, does provide perspective, is necessary... I still can't dance lol but I think I'm now a better person because of it. I'm 52 now though, basically alone trying to reconcile, that process took decades and continues of course. Loved your reaction, you're in for a treat doing this now certain deep dive into Ren. "What you want " is real beastie boy flavour. I love them all ✌️❤️
Thank you for sharing this! Much love and healing!
Love the blue hair too. 😉
Thank you ;)
You felt it and I felt you, great reaction ❤
I'm just speechless. Wow. ❤
Jenny and Screech is amazing too, but I just subbed to see your Chalk Outines reaction.
Thank you ans welcome!
I love it when guitar reaction video guys first see this and go straight to breaking down the guitar parts.
Then they make it to the "Rap" part and are like Oh.... LOL!
So, this is probably the 40th reaction to this song I've watched, and so far my favorite! You get it from the first notes. Really get it. (Check out more Ren; even his covers are breathtaking. I Shot the Sherriff is one of my personal favs.) Anyway, storytelling Ren is at an apex with his tales of Jenny and Screech. Check them out next. Thank you so much -- I'm subscribing.
Thank you so much Julie! He's pretty amazing, I can't wait to listen to more ;)
My resume: Let's dance! Thank you Ren! This is healing, hope for Ren too.
Enjoyed your perspective...
Loved your reaction
Loved your reaction to this ARTist
Check him out, because he's got so much more to offer 😉
Your enthusiasm is contagious!
At first I was curious about all the hype around him here on RUclips.
Then, I was mesmerized by the way he started playing the guitar with such intensity.
But once he actually started speaking it was just... Wow... The one of his right is his "angel", the one of the left is his "demon" both talking in his mind, nonstop. More and More frantic, going at each other, fighting to either save him or k!ll him, just left me speechless, to the very end, and I'm still trying to process what I listened.
As someone who deals with mental issues and has a sort of split personality syndrome, I think this is a HUGE message to those who may not understand us, who deal with our inner demons every day.
Again, the way the two "Rens" went back and forth, is exactly how, sometimes, both of my personalities "go at each other" inside my head, louder and louder until I say STOP.
This perfect chaos is just.. crazy amazing.
Excellent reaction
Ren has a band called "The Big Push" and they have videos where they play street shows in Britain. They do amazing, and I mean amazing covers of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs." They do an incredible cover of Bob Marley's "I Shot The Sheriff" and Ren's voice sounds so much like Bob Marley's. They cover The Rolling Stones "Paint It Black" with Ren playing bass and it too is incredible. Also the Police song "Walking On The Moon"
It's amazing how much great music Ren has put out.
Do Sick Boi next then you will be on your way to more Ren, anything and every thing. Do the Jenny & Screech trilogy (full) where Ren put all three stories in one video, you will find that on Ren's videos page. Jenny's tale is first, followed by Screech's tale, the finale but the important part is the last, Violet's tale. In that order. A story teller par excellence! I feel chills every time I hear it/watch it.
Jenny's tale trilogy .... that's the joint.
Street bard needs to be shared...as bards put in words feelings we all feel but not have the capacity........it's a time to come to terms with us
Please react to his song "Power"..
Hiim and Sam, the videographer, are a match made in heaven.
Great reaction to seeing you for the first time. Thank you for your positivity and I think we all felt the same way when we first experienced this piece of art! Ren is truly a next level talent! Please check out the rest of his catalog he’s so amazingly gifted he can play virtually every instrument at a masters level and his lyricism… He has a PhD in ‘WordArt’!!
- I saw your other comment to somebody giving you Rens background …about your friend with lymes disease and I had lymes disease myself and they were about to put me in a mental hospital like they did with Ren, cause no one could figure out what was wrong and thought it was/ in my head and I had to move away from my family until someone finally diagnosed me with it and began to treat me for it! I can relate so much to this not even so much from that because my daughters been battling borderline personality disorder for over a decade (and severe traumas) and we’re still trying to find her the right help - and I battled severe anxiety since my lymes but like you soon this artist run helps us all so much I’ll deal with our own demons
❤
Great reaction.
If I may, perhaps try Ren X Chinchilla How to Be Me Live version.
I love the title already!
Ren X chinchilla, chalk outlines to really revue his vocal heights
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your powerful reaction, words, and insight into this piece of performance art and music. Thanks to Ren for sharing his struggle with his mental and physical illness. This is truly a masterful work of art to be seen and studied by all. Again, thank you for your reaction to Hi Ren.
Ren is my favourite person of all time. I love and respect so many artists and historical figures however….. he is a magical genius and he is also ethical and decent/sound
