That phone holder on the dashboard turned the opening part of the video in an authentic Jimny experience where all other vehicles on the highway can be seen overtaking the Jimny.

Cool channel… congratulations on your Jimny, i see you still have the paper reg. They are absolutely amazing vehicles. I did Van Zyls pass in my FJ and my friend did it in a stock standard Jimny. Not even upgraded tyres…
Something to bare in mind. The maximum load weight rating on a Jimny’s roof is 30 kilograms. That’s a road rating. Then take into account the dynamic load rating ( ie: driving on gravel roads ). And your load capacity on the roof is halved.
So just because your roof rack can carry a bazillion kilograms. Don’t go over loading it.

Will the gutter mount be available in multiple sizes / for other vehicles?
I want to use the Alu Cab Load bars on my Land Cruiser to have the leveled roof tray and a leveled solar panel, really a nice low profile option! But currently I would need to source gutter mounts to your competition to use your load bar.

Hi there, we have not tried that yet, but it should fit - as long as you have cargo rails to attach our Load Bars to. Here is the fitment manual of the Roof Rack Tray for reference: www.alu-cab.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Roof-Rack-Tray-Fitment-Instructions.pdf
The problem with the Jimny is that it has only one spare tyre which means that you will be stranded in the Tankwa Karoo once you have your second flat tyre on the stock-standard "Dunlopers" the Jimny comes with. I will state outright that a Jimny has no business going to the Tankwa without BFG tyres or at a minimum General Grabbers.
The fuel consumption of those Jimnys are Horrible!! For the price you pay for a Jimny rather get a 2.4 d4d SRX Hilux.😉
