I have advice on the mud from the pupper, Vilk. Somewhere between 1.5 and 2.5 years of age, he will begin to calm down. The training done in the first two years? CRUCIAL as it determines what kind of experience the owner and dog will have over the years!!! Until then, your sanity is occasionally tested. To prevent a dog from jumping up on you, put your knee into the chest. There’s no-jump harnesses, but I don’t think it’ll be needed. Give a command once. Wait. Correct if necessary. If you want the command for “come” to be “Come here! C’mon Vilk… c’mon buddy… let’s go.”? You don’t. SO much about training a dog is about the MASTER learning and being disciplined. Consistency is huge. Try to leave emotion out of it! NOTE: you’ll fail again and again with emotions and giving a command once. The better you do, the better result. Never plead for obedience. You’re not asking. Ideally, you’re not even demanding. Informing or directing are good ways to think about it. A flat, even tone is best. It’s not like being a drill sergeant, so much as saying “pass the salt” and you’ve got a brilliant breed that’s eager to learn and work. He wants to be given orders!!! On RUclips, there’s tons of videos on dog training, German Shepherds, puppy behavioral issues, etc. and you might want to download some things before heading out of wireless range. Try to have a Kong or tennis ball or a small rubber tire, in the vehicle. The urge to chew is irresistible to a teething dog. If there’s not something that you don’t mind him chewing, he’ll make due with something. I used retractable leashes with my Rottweilers. You might not be interested, but please inquire about hiking when it’s just the two of you. Ask yourself how he’d react to a bear. He’s not been alive long and so many things are new to him. I’m guessing that the fascination of a bear might leave him mesmerized and not hearing or obeying a command. Well, at some point I began directing this stuff to Eva. lol Ohhhh… idk if you have a security system for the vehicle, but since it’s all your stuff (and at times this includes the two of you)? The day will come when Vilk can jump up into the upper level on his own and that’ll be sweet. 🤌🏻 I’d say that I could go on and on, but it’s already apparent. Please stay safe. Eva, that looks awesome!! Have only just discovered your channel and I’m loving it. You’re so down to earth and real. It’s a joy to watch you doing what I wish I was doing. All the best for you and Vilk for your next chapter in Odyssey 2.0.
Hello Eva, I just found your channel and I am loving it. Being on the wrong side of 50, solo female traveling was not done when I was your age. No internet, cell phones, and absolutely no way to make a living traveling unless you were a truck driver (something I considered). I backpacked, camped, and rented cabins in the woods for years until I bought my home in the Catskills, NY. where I live today. I was so happy when you got Vilk, great name BTY. I am on my 4th GSD. Each has taken me through a segment of my life, and I can’t imagine not living with one. Well trained, they can travel anywhere. Just make sure your recall command is spot on. A dog must come back when called, it can save his life, especially in the forest. I was wondering how you were going to manage to get Vilk in the roof tent when he got big… So, bravo on the Odyssey upgrade! Keep the content coming because I live vicariously through you. Heading into my 60s and not willing to give up a toilet and shower, I’m considering an Airstream and starting my own adventure.
I tried to get my husband to do a drive around the USA back in the 1980s when in my 30s, but he had no interest. Now I'm also on flip side of 50 & with some health issues. I can live vicariously through others adventures. I still recommend she gets a small sat phone that functions where cell phones & internet do not. I'm all for adventure, but travelling alone as young woman makes me cringe sometimes. -- She wants to know about rules for life, which I'd say to be more careful. Things don't always work out & not everyone is nice. This is a good upgrade!
For some reason 'problem' dogs keep turning up at my place as the last step before they end up at the dog pound, I currently have my 7th dog so far. Every dog has turned out to be excellent after I taught them 2 things, the meaning of NO!! and Come Here!!. Unfortunately the young women who these dogs previously lived with thought it would be unfair to give the dogs limitations and boundaries, but I can tell you now it was so much more unfair on the dogs to be abandoned because they thought they were uncontrollable. The dogs were definitely sad for the first 12 months but turned into the most beautiful animals ever. Please, please, please, People, be the Leader of the Pack even if it is only the 2 of you, dogs are pack animals and need a leader. The dog doesn't realise it has done anything wrong but suddenly it is unwanted and doesn't get to see the first love of their lives ever again.
Noel, I beg to differ. You are not on the wrong side of 50. You are exactly in the right place and time. You are crushing it by the sounds of it, so to speak. Keep on, keeping on!
Seeing the happines shine from your eyes when you first opened the new roof was so heartwarming and exactly what I needed today. Stay awesome and I wish you all the best on your upcoming adventures! Much love from Slovenia!
I’m glad to see Vilk is getting so big. You can already tell he’s going to be a great guard dog that no one or no animal is going to want to mess with.
She kinda fesses up to being a good mama. Yet she went back to rental. Scooped Viig off to shop. Thats a great mama! Viig voiced his 👍vocalizing such in way Eva never heard her lik boy say. They’re already so tuned into each’s emotionsVovals
I like what Thor said, was that his name? “You can make a quick getaway”. I worried about you sleeping on top. But, wow, so happy for you. It looks like a lot more than a quick getaway! It gives you breathing room and a real home. Happy travels!
That setup looks absolutely amazing, I can imagine it makes a huge difference, especially keeping in mind how miserable you looked in the storm episode! And it is so cool to see how you are starting to see the moments where Vilk is showing signs of calmness and compusure. Yes, mud and dirt everywhere. And I have a “domestic” setting. You are going to have even more! 😁
Thank you for the reminder - sometimes I forget that everyone feels like they don't know what they're doing at times and I'm so glad you said that - you do still make the same mistakes as a child while you're learning how to not keep making it as an adult - needed to hear that! I literally felt like I was the only one making those mistakes. You always seem to have the perfect reminder of how normal it is when we feel like we are struggling to figure it out. Watching your journey and seeing that we are all just figuring it out each day, really puts things into perspective. Congratulations on your amazing new bedroom and office 🥳🎉🐕😋 Super incredible. Never seen anything like it. Glad it provides more security, stability, happiness and peace.
Puppy is getting bigger! So nice to see. My GS runs 70 to 90 lbs depending on the season. She fattens up for the winter to sleep in the snow. On the roof top I would place tie strings using paracord to keep from losing the keeper pins. Also GS dogs love toys although mine seems to lose them) But as a puppy, it's a like a baby as they as love a snuggle toy to have. Kepps them from chewing on everything else at in my experience. Great video!
@@lionandlamb4754 No doubt, they are amazing companions. I have had several dogs in my life and GS puppies do take a ton of time/attention but it's because they are so smart and in tune with people. Can be frustrating at times but they make amazing adult dogs.
Right on Eva! Loving the upgrade. You and pup seem to be settled into one another as well. Beautiful episode, it's an honor to be apart of your travels. Thank you for your devotion to producing quality content and showing alternative living options. You're beautiful, wise and quirky in all the right ways. You're amazing! Praying that more people find their way to your channel to support your work. God bless, stay safe, and see you next time! NE Washington, waving hello! ✌🏽💜🍵🌟🍜🚙🏕
I know this is a little late, but I'm catching up on your journeys chronologically...I just have to say, you have the best dog ever haha. He's so cute and well behaved - I know training is a huge factor so kudos, but he has a great temperament too - it's so much fun watching him react to his environment and learn and grow - it's the way dogs are supposed to live. Cheers from America!
I'm happy for you! You are much safer now. I was a little bit worried, with the last setup, because maybe sometimes you don't have the possibility to go in out in your car , if something happening. But now...yes...it's great!
When I'm wrong, I admit it and apologize. You're a great mom to Vilk! He obviously loves life on the road - almost as much as he loves you ;) I'm truly sorry I wasn't more supportive and positive when you needed it most. Y'all stay safe out there.
I was really struck by this.."LIFE CHANGE, YOU ADAPT." an insight that we should always remember to be truly happy.Thank you Eva...from the Philippines
Following Eva, Odessy and Vilk is my therapy. Love to watch it in the evening, its so relaxing. I really feel I am camping. Makes me feel Om not missing out on life😅 Highlight of my week.
2.0 looks & functions amazing! Does the added weight of the pop up roof give concern to increased rollover scenarios? Not that you rock crawl, but you are off road often to an extent. It may be worth it to have a shop fabricate some sort of roll over bar, whether within the cab or an exoskeleton type of application.
Looks like it’s comparable to the weight she already had up there. Maybe even less. Cuz she won’t have that extra cargo space she did above here center of gravity. Even if it was “added weight,” don’t forget she lost a lot of it when removing shelf and cargo from up top. I think finding how to economize her lower level to accommodate her cargo etc would be the next step in this build. Adding weight with an exoskeleton would not be efficient in this scenario since as you mentioned she’s not doing extreme climbing. If she economizes cargo and weight distribution she should be fine.
I found the specs...it's 155 lbs (70kg) heavier than the factory roof so pretty negligible after all. Good points on redistributing the weight from the removal of the shelving.
This girls is unbelievable, I cant even dare to do what she is doing! And i am seriously doubting my life goals and my way of living here in Vancouver, the city I so dearly wanted to be in where I moved in after staying in Dubai. I am just speechless. Vilk and Eva the awesome duo! Goodluck with your adventures and be safe always!
So much better for you and Vilk. Yeh for your upgrade :) happy travelling. 💖🌺 Vilk is such a good boy you are doing great with him, but that’s not surprising. Go girl!
It was really interesting to see how the upgrade was done. I think you'll be very happy with the new configuration. No more climbing up and down a ladder to get to your bed.
My dad sort of gave me playbook because he messed up maybe once a decade: oversleeping: always set two different alarms, one electric and one mechanical in case power or batteries fail. Getting locked out: always carry two sets of house and car keys on your person. Then I keep a third set in my home (for the car) and in the car (for my home). Computers: keep at least 4 backups of everything, never ever count on your phone or one computer and keep backups both on online servers and portable harddrives. Those phone backup services are a ripoff with a capital R and if you miss one payment all your data is gone or held hostage. I put my data on one backup service, they went out of business, and we were all left high and dry. Take ownership of everything and trust other people and companies to the least extent possible.
Having watched several of your videos now, I just want to say that you are an amazing person with such a beautiful outlook on life and I thank you for sharing your adventures and thoughts!
Oh I’m so happy for you, I’m so glad you’re going to be safer and be able to be in Odyssey while you sleep so you can escape if there’s a threat. So much more room also!! Keep safe and God bless you always!! ❤️🙏🏻😊
This content really feels genuine, it’s in part due to the filming style I think. The videos really make you feel like you are there yourself doing the adventures.
This upgrade plus the next will make your travels so much more comfortable as well as safer. I very much like it. Am sure your uncles cupboards could have stayed. And Vilk, what a friend you found. Such a lovely dog, well trained. Keep on going and have fun.
I like this upgrade and there’s no fear of taking a header off the old roof tent. Everything is so simple to operate and you wonder how you went so long without it. Its definitely worth every penny with all the room you now have in Odyssey. Why give up the comforts of home on the road? Now you have the best of both worlds. Congratulations and bon voyage! 👍
Eva, I wish I could have met you while you were here. You were literally 25 minutes away from me. Good luck in your travels and have an awesome time in Alaska. If you ever come back through Oregon, you need to take the 101 Hwy along the coast. It's such a beautiful sight to see. Thanks for the videos. Safe travels.
Wow, Vilk is growing up really fast! Btw, the end result looks really fantastic! Congrats! Can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the next episodes!
I love watching your videos and most of all I love your upgrade to your odyssey, so proud of you for everything that you do the adventures that you take the challenges that you get in your way, you are an awesome wonderful person keep doing what you’re doing to make you smile and happy🙏😃😃😃😃🥰
Quite liked (Roofless) Safari Odyssey! Upgrade is awesome though - can see it will be a complete game changer for you! Fantastic mod. Odyssey looks awesome! Just thoughts - will you be able to route your heater pipe in there to warm it up? Also what are you going to do with all the stuff you had in the storage - looking forward to seeing the changes/adaptions (next week?). Looking forward even more to your future adventures :-)!
Im so excited for you Eva! A wonderful milestone and memory for you and a complete gamechanger on this journey. Also, Vilk has settled into his life quite nicely! How excited he was to get up in your truck!! He loves his life and u can tell by the glimmer in his eye he is well loved and very happy. Youre a perfect match. Soulmates.
Very cool, love the upgrade Eva. How does this impact your storage space tho? You might want to let the pup sleep in the lower level tho, when he gets bigger you might not be able to lift him into the upper level. Can't wait to see what else you have planned. It will be interesting to see how well it will hold heat or how hard it will be to keep it heated on a cold night. Nice thing tho is the whole car will be warm.
I LOVE IT!!! Ever since the very first video I've watched, I kept thinking that you should get one of those. That was such a smart & savvy purchasing decision. I'm so happy for you. :)
Oh Eva, motherhood suits you so much and letting us watch you and Vilk "grow" together is your gift to us as your loyal followers. (Hope that doesn't sound cult like.😆) Love Oddessy's bedroom/office upgrade but do wonder where you'll store all of your things now. No doubt you'll work it out. Huge love and respect from NZ! 👍🏻💖🇳🇿
Sounds comfortable! Really amazing! You love so much your new roof which has multiple functions. Congratulations to precious Eva Zu Beck with his lovely dog and the van.
Wow, that’s a much needed upgrade. So much better that you don’t have to climb out of the vehicle in the rain and carry your boy up with the packs. He’s such a great doggo. And like the guy at the garage said, being able to make a quick escape, if necessary, is very important. Congrats on the new amazing roof. But bears can climb up on there in Alaska, I would be VERY cautious in places like that.
Bravo 👏 and congrats, you are totally aware of where you are going and what you and Vilk need in the future 👍💪🤗 I love it and I'm sure it's going to be even better soon. One advice from me,please don't walk barefooted everywhere, you can step on God knows what so just be careful 🙂 Vilk is getting bigger and more attached to you day by day 🐕🐾❣️
The conversion is fantastic! Really much safer camping wise. I do have one question.. do you miss the cupboards/storage space that you lost to the upgrade?
@Solar Warden how so? There's no external access and the predators would have to climb onto the vehicle to get in, by which time you'd be probably awake and moving into the main cab.
@Solar Warden that's the dog's job. First, it provides early warning for you to take action; second, bears usually steer clear of dogs like the plague; third, this is all weirdly hypothetical since grizzlies and black bears usually avoid contact with humans unless you are doing something incredibly stupid like leaving food out at night. I've lived and camped in bear country most of my adult life, and I've never had a run-in with a bear (although a baby bear did wander into the prep room of the kitchen I was working at, but that's a different story), and I've been far more exposed than she will be.
"All the answers." I love you, Eva. In the old days, we would have called you a hippie chick. And one who has it more together than most. I think you are doing just fine and I like following your progression. It comes as no surprise that life is a journey and not a destination. Enjoy the ride and keep on learning. It is funny to watch Vilk as he impedes your progress, sometimes.
Congratulations, the remodeling of the defender is beautiful. And the company of the puppy is really special🐶. Greetings from Bogotá Colombia 🇨🇴 (Edgar Ortiz)
Here is your lesson on being an adult. Lesson 1. You're on your own because no one else really knows what they're doing either. So just fake it. End of lesson.
Wow love the new upgrade, I wondering how you were going to get your puppy up to the roof tent when he gets bigger but I guess you won't be struggling going up that ladder any more.
Yes, renovations are stressful, but this is a good change, and will bring good memories for you and Vilk. Happy days ahead. Long miles in comfort. See about the propane fireplace to add heat that installs in the rear passenger corner. Baby steps. Home building. Enjoy!
You gain a lot of headroom but not without some losses of security. With the steel roof removed, there is no longer a closed integral steel enclosure. If the roof cannot be locked down in the closed position from the inside, then anyone can just pop it open from the outside. I wonder if there's also some loss of torsional stiffness and rollover protection because the rigid steel top has been removed. Perhaps they have thought about these issues and designed some features for it. Certainly looks like an interesting product!
It's also not the perfect choice for sleeping in "Bear Country" where she had planed to sleep fully enclosed by the original structure, and not canvas sides. Not that she couldn't keep her plan to stay in the closed shell, but it doesn't sound like it at this point. That being said, it sure opens up that little Rover.
@@scotcoon1186 yes, it appears so. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to remove the original roof without cutting the metal. They unbolted it. But why not put back those handy storage areas?
See how long a day is. And how long is a movie? Do you think she wants to show other aspects of her journey with her 21-minute-long film? And that would be interesting?

@@MegF142857 A Garmin InReach would be ideal. It requires an annual fee but it does have an SOS button for emergencies.
Seeing the happines shine from your eyes when you first opened the new roof was so heartwarming and exactly what I needed today. Stay awesome and I wish you all the best on your upcoming adventures! Much love from Slovenia!
All these updates are what you needed to secure your safety and well being!! Awesome ❤️
However, a bear motivated by cooking smells or just curiosity, would have no trouble getting through the tent fabric.
I’m glad to see Vilk is getting so big. You can already tell he’s going to be a great guard dog that no one or no animal is going to want to mess with.
Lovely to see Eva so light and free. She IS a responsible adult. Look at Vilk!
She kinda fesses up to being a good mama. Yet she went back to rental. Scooped Viig off to shop. Thats a great mama! Viig voiced his 👍vocalizing such in way Eva never heard her lik boy say. They’re already so tuned into each’s emotionsVovals
@@blakesleyk.7166, It's WILK (pronounce like: vilk), the Polish word for a wolf. :)
I like what Thor said, was that his name? “You can make a quick getaway”.
I worried about you sleeping on top.
But, wow, so happy for you. It looks like a lot more than a quick getaway! It gives you breathing room and a real home. Happy travels!
Those guys done a great job. Fabulous conversion. Happy comfortable traveling Eva and Vilk.👍😊
On the roof top I would place tie strings using paracord to keep from losing the
keeper pins. Also GS dogs love toys although mine seems to lose them) But as a puppy, it's a like a baby as they as love a snuggle toy to have. Kepps them from chewing on everything else at in my experience. Great video!
lol I got my GS toys to chew on as a puppy. She ended up treating her toys like her own puppies and chewed on everything else.
Agree about the keeper pins (retaining clips).
I love my GS. She’s such a good companion.
@@lionandlamb4754 No doubt, they are amazing companions. I have had several dogs in my life and GS puppies do take a ton of time/attention but it's because they are so smart and in tune with people. Can be frustrating at times but they make amazing adult dogs.
Love it!
I’m so happy for you Eva. Can’t wait to see your future journeys. ☺️☺️
I'm 80 and I think it was more fun without a playbook! I really admire your spirit.
Very nice kit. Easy set up, big bed area and can stand up inside = Awesome. Look forward to seeing your forthcoming additions. 🙂
Absolutely amazing upgrade. I am so happy for you. 💗 And thanks for sharing your journey with us.
Lol put your mask on and get more vaccinated
Looks like it’s comparable to the weight she already had up there. Maybe even less. Cuz she won’t have that extra cargo space she did above here center of gravity. Even if it was “added weight,” don’t forget she lost a lot of it when removing shelf and cargo from up top. I think finding how to economize her lower level to accommodate her cargo etc would be the next step in this build. Adding weight with an exoskeleton would not be efficient in this scenario since as you mentioned she’s not doing extreme climbing. If she economizes cargo and weight distribution she should be fine.
It's actually lighter than the original roof, but still keeping integrity.
Wow, the new set up looks incredible Eva! Spacious, cozy, cool and most of all safe!
Looks like an awesome upgrade and seeing Vilk being so happy makes me smile!!! Have fun guys ☺️
I love the upgrade. This feels so open and nice. Congratulations Eva and Vilk!
Very nice conversion and excellent decision!! Congrats looks great!!😁😎👍
So much better for you and Vilk. Yeh for your upgrade :) happy travelling. 💖🌺 Vilk is such a good boy you are doing great with him, but that’s not surprising. Go girl!
Ok, so that was trippy seeing your GPS and knowing exactly where you are. Just down the street! Enjoy your trip! Love your videos. Cheers!
Wow that is an amazing upgrade. Congratulations 🍾🎊🎉🎈
Having watched several of your videos now, I just want to say that you are an amazing person with such a beautiful outlook on life and I thank you for sharing your adventures and thoughts!
Congrats - you will love it - I just had my conversion done and got it back yesterday. Game changer.
Amazing.... and 100% needed... can’t wait to see what you’re gonna do to your lovely Landy 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
What a wonderful feeling it must be just to be able to stand up in your vehicle AND everything is all together. I like it, you needed it -
Oh I’m so happy for you, I’m so glad you’re going to be safer and be able to be in Odyssey while you sleep so you can escape if there’s a threat.
Great to see Vilk get along with another dog, so important. Have Joy!
Es hermoso ver hombres y mujeres trabajando en equipo y ayudandose, asì debe ser la verdadera libertad sin tonteras. Gracias por tus videos.
Mule was my go to shop when I lived in Seattle. They are a great group of people and company that sets you up well. Congrats on the penthouse.
I am so happy that this was done, so much safer for you and your pup
Wow, Vilk is growing up really fast! Btw, the end result looks really fantastic! Congrats!
Can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the next episodes!

😊Thank you for sharing your adventures, this video is truly a game changer too. Your beautiful dog, the new upgrades, your thoughts. Wonderful!
I love watching your videos and most of all I love your upgrade to your odyssey, so proud of you for everything that you do the adventures that you take the challenges that you get in your way, you are an awesome wonderful person keep doing what you’re doing to make you smile and happy🙏😃😃😃😃🥰
Does Eva also shower without a curtain? I mean she is Alone
I just love your little dog he is always so happy and ready to go anywhere with you I can tell you give your dog lots of love that’s so sweet to see .
Good questions, I would like to know this also as those compartments held a lot of essential equipment.
Awesome job Eva Wishing you the very best from Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤️🌹😇
Im so excited for you Eva! A wonderful milestone and memory for you and a complete gamechanger on this journey. Also, Vilk has settled into his life quite nicely! How excited he was to get up in your truck!! He loves his life and u can tell by the glimmer in his eye he is well loved and very happy. Youre a perfect match. Soulmates.
Thank you. It looks really cool of a rooftop tent and roof extension, really nice.
Super upgrade!!! Literally was telling my fiance, yesterday, about how easy is this mod on a Defender...
SUPER wygląda świetnie i na 100 jest bezpieczniej niż w namiocie dachowym jeszcze raz brawo i szerokości
What a cool conversion. I'm so envious of your set-up. Just wonderful. Have fun adventuring!
Wow! That is really nice. This should make your journey so much more comfortable. I’m so happy for you.
I think you just made your life easier and more secure. Congrats, Eva.
Yes. Beautiful Eva & gorgeous Viig. Love your comment NZ❤️
motherhood? its a dog.
"Motherhood" is when a child is born. Nothing to do with a puppy.
@@aroberts3213 So motherhood is a dog? Meaning you don't like motherhood?

Sounds comfortable! Really amazing! You love so much your new roof which has multiple functions. Congratulations to precious Eva Zu Beck with his lovely dog and the van.
Really cool conversion top! Love the new pup! Be safe!
Bravo 👏 and congrats, you are totally aware of where you are going and what you and Vilk need in the future 👍💪🤗
I love it and I'm sure it's going to be even better soon. One advice from me,please don't walk barefooted everywhere, you can step on God knows what so just be careful 🙂
Vilk is getting bigger and more attached to you day by day 🐕🐾❣️
The conversion is fantastic! Really much safer camping wise. I do have one question.. do you miss the cupboards/storage space that you lost to the upgrade?
Exactly, all That room storage huncle with his bare hands built, gone. They were so utilitarian.. BTW. Where you put your stuff now?
@Solar Warden I've lived and camped in grizzly, black, and Eurasian brown bear territories.
@Solar Warden yes, if she plays it bear smart.
You are such a positive energy. When I watch your videos it let's m know there are still some good folk in the world.
Wow! Absolutely gorgeous Odyssey! Very wide and spacious now. More comfortable and relaxing,! Congratulations Miss Eva & Vilk!
What do you do about all of the overhead storage you've removed? How will you be able to store your stuff?
Looks like that's going to be addressed in the next video.
@@robertgiresi9515 If Eva live in her Car where does she change her clothes?

"All the answers." I love you, Eva. In the old days, we would have called you a hippie chick. And one who has it more together than most. I think you are doing just fine and I like following your progression. It comes as no surprise that life is a journey and not a destination. Enjoy the ride and keep on learning. It is funny to watch Vilk as he impedes your progress, sometimes.
When Eva lives in her Car where does she change her clothes?
It’s disgusting that she’s walking barefoot everywhere even on peoples property. At least have the decency to put on flip flops…
@@silaslutjohann1530 Anywhere she likes.
@@Gaudine Walking around barefooted makes for a well grounded person, which she obviously is
What’s “decent” about flip flops? She’s not hurting anyone.
for the whole video i was wondering where does she store all of the other equipment as that storage is now removed?
Same here
Congratulations, the remodeling of the defender is beautiful. And the company of the puppy is really special🐶. Greetings from Bogotá Colombia 🇨🇴 (Edgar Ortiz)
Your new crib is awesome and your puppy is freaking adorable! I am so happy for you! You are living your dream! Happy camping!
I am so glad Vilk is off the leash! Good job!
Yes, renovations are stressful, but this is a good change, and will bring good memories for you and Vilk. Happy days ahead. Long miles in comfort. See about the propane fireplace to add heat that installs in the rear passenger corner. Baby steps. Home building. Enjoy!
So Awesome too see the New Top!! And too see the Happiness of this Awesome Gal!!
I think it's a body on frame chassis, and the new top looks like it's probably aluminum, probably no worse off in a rollover than the factory roof.
It'd be nice with at least one crossbar for torsional strength
The defender does not use the roof for structural integrity. This modification has no structural effect to torsion on the frame.
Would have hoped with all of your travels you would have learned some fantastic life lessons from those you've met along the way!
See how long a day is. And how long is a movie? Do you think she wants to show other aspects of her journey with her 21-minute-long film? And that would be interesting?
