It is great to see independent three screen cinema is still around going into competition with the multiplexes. It is nice to see the way the projection room works for screen 3.

Thanks for the video, very informative. It is interesting to follow the history of the Commodore and the Picturedrome (previously Medina Hall, Medina Cinema, Studio 1, Cannon), how they evolved from mainly theatres through to cinemas and bingo, then adding extra screens. I recently went into the True Vine Church which is now in the upstairs part of the old Picturedrome, the downstairs being a pub. I must admit I am struggling to work out where the screens were, noting it was a very large cinema with stalls, with the stalls then closing making way for bingo, then it became two screens, one with larger capacity than the other. It also originally had a restaurant. I don't suppose you have any video or stills of the Picturedrome? I went there when it was open, but my memory is not quite good enough to remember the two screen layout. Thanks.

Thank you for your kind words. I really enjoyed making this. The Vive Church is that in Newport the main Ex Cinema? I went there a few times and sad when it closed. I`m sorry I only have out-takes and unedited footage of Ryde Commodore. You might have to Google your search or try on Facebook and Isle of Wight Heritage Group. Hope this helps Mick.

It was an amazing experience. Filed on old MiniDV cameras so quality not great but was good to film the workings of it all. Thank you.
