Coaxing a 10” brook trout out of a tight pocket with a challenging dry fly cast during broad daylight is often more rewarding than hooking an 18” brown just randomly tossing a big streamer or bouncing a nymph through a deep run. Looks like a beautiful float!
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Just listening to what you say even in conversations you can pick up tid pits. I too hate being around all the traffic. Keep up the great content.
Enjoyed watching the scenic float. River reflections of summer greenery and blue skies. A great trip doesn't require a 25 inches. 😊

Thats 100% true. I think the boardman is beautiful

It's definitely more challenging, which makes it fun. When it comes down to it, big browns will (at times) mash anything that moves.

If you fish downstream with a boat, how to go back to your vehicle spot?
We usually have 2 vehicles. Locking up a bike at the take-out works good too
