@@ItsXetren it's because one's more heartbreaking than the other. We only knew Spider-Man for three movies at that point while we knew Fitz for five seasons, which is longer than his entire screen time from Civil War to Infinity War, and that makes it more heartbreaking than "I don't feel so good"
I have watched this for so many times already. Also with other reactors... and I still cried... seeing you crying has just proven once more that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the best superhero series ever made. Thank you for this journey. Till we see again at Season 6.
Rookie Caporas Same. I’ve watched this a few times now, too. I was more in shock the first time. No tears. Every time since, I cry like a baby. I love Iain. Yep, just watched again here, and crying. I don’t know what it is about this scene, but it seems to only become more emotionally powerful over time.
Great reaction! 1. The first shot of the season was a picture Robin drew that matches that last scene of the season. 2. When old Robin was talking to May in the future, she said she has seen a timeline where they save the world, she just hasn't lived it yet. So it seems she can see other timelines, but they kept failing except for that one. 3. “I think my legs are broken” and Daisy and Coulso’s final goodbye gets me way more emotionally than anything in Infinity War. Iain de Caestecker's performance has always been fantastic but God he did great in this scene. 4. Simmons face, from joy, to expecting a dead team member, to realizing what actually happened is a journey that Elizabeth Henstridge's face portrays perfectly, every level of grief in a few seconds. 5. Yoyo's performance was great. And everyone. 6. Daisy wasn't dead after she fell coz she used her power, like in 4x08 but of course it wasn't that nice. In 5x 20 she tried to quake Talbot but it didn't work. Now she just send him into space. Smart move - civilians were still around.. 7. The showrunners were not sure if Agents of Shield would be renewed for a sixth season and so they planned this episode to work as a series finale, in case ABC had canceled the series. I guess that's why there is not a post-credit scene or cliffhanger.
Monika Sienkiewicz Nice observations. I consider myself a smart viewer, but this show always seems to be a few steps ahead of me. I’ll have to look for these.
You forgot that theres Fitz whos still fronzen in space (fitz from the begging of this season) So fitz who got married just died but a younger version of him still exists in space. But we won't remember his wedding and every other event since that didn't happened to him yet. They created a new timeline. Kinda like in Back To The Future I guess.
small correction, it was the old guy (Voss) who showed Daisy that footage. It's in the episode, The last day. Deke showed some other footage earlier in the season.
As others have already said, there were essentially two Fitz's. Breaking the loop created a new timeline so one of them was going to have to go. I've seen a few people say that it's a cop out but I take many issues with that. One is that you simply do not kill Fitz so thank god there's a version of him in space. Two is that regardless, there was still a Fitz that died, something of a broken man, feeling separated from his friends and tormented by the framework with his life still unfinished. That still happened, and my god did it ever hurt.
Watching a reaction to this episode always been special, but Logan crying.. thats new for me. I remember i cried through the whole 40 min. Ever since when my eyes dry i think of Fitz dying. The direction of this episode and the genius acting of Ian. Lets hope we meet them in Endgame (I know it isnt likely.). Also this was way more sad then Infinity war, everyone was like crying in IW, and i told them to watch this.
Some tidbits. After Coulson says he's not going with Daisy, she immediately looks up at his left hand holding the rail, that's a nod he's supporting his entire body with that mechanical hand, otherwise, he'd fall down during landing. Coulson saying "if not, find the strength in your arms to beat his ass senseless", refers to both Daisy's power and him hiding the centipede serum in her gauntlet. Every single main character has at least two hero scenes - Daisy has the "big heart" speech at the beginning and the main fight with Graviton; Coulson has his talk with Daisy on the jet and the end scene; May has the fight scene and the end scene; Mack has the "SHIELD is here" voice-over and the open-door scene (which reminds me a lot of the famous Cap copter scene in Civil War); Yoyo has the least but her "no one listens" speech and reviving Coulson scene are good too; Fitz realizing immediately that Mack and Polly didn't make it in the future and his death scene, especially his concern for Robin even after being crushed just tells you he's got both brains and heart; and Simmon's reaction scene and her "your team will always work the problem, no matter what the odds" speech do exactly the same. Ian's acting is always great, but Elizabeth steals the show with her voice-less reaction scene, from "I've got good news" to "did something bad happened" to "who is it" to "it's Fitz", you can see her mind without hearing a single word. This episode just shows how incredible the writers and the actors of this show are, and how under-appreciated this show is. Last, I prefer to call the space Fitz Fitzicle, after Capsicle.
i just wish more of the TV shows being made these days were this original and written/directed/acted well enough to have this kind of an emotional impact on their audiences. And Iain De Caestecker (Fitz) is a great actor. He's been a favorite of mine since I first saw him in the supernatural miniseries _The Fades._ I think they all do a great job, though.
This was your first time breaking in five seasons man then it was really overdue! 😂 If you have soul you cry here. Just how it is! Ian and Henry really slayed this scene. Then Jemma's reaction and later the Daisy Coulson goodbye is one gutpunch after another. But yeah, different Fitz, as "our" Fitz is still very much alive and frozen in space. You cant really do a new season without him, but we could say the same about Coulson :/ Spectacular finale with solving the loop and sending off our characters, it'd have been a great series finale. Now pumped for S6!
Mack is the only one that seems to hold it together when everyone loses their shit, but everyone hates him for it 🧐 EDIT: I’m not just talking about you Logan lol, just mean a large portion in general
I watch a lot of TV, and this was my favorite finale of 2018!! The Daisy/Coulson 'I love you' kills me. It's also just really cool seeing finally what cracked the Earth, a quake powered Talbot/Graviton. So many emotions!! Bring on S6!
Fun fact: The first scene in 5x01 (ie, the first scene of the season) shows one of Robin's drawings, and it depicts Coulson and May on the beach, with the quinjet in the background (ie, the last scene of the season). The same scene also foreshadows stuff like Talbot's body in space, among other things.
(SPOILER ALERT FOR INFINITY WAR) Dude! It WAS the acting of Iain De Caestecker (Fitz) that does it: He is AMAZING in that scene! I will always remember that within a matter of weeks, I cried at seeing Peter Parker/Spider-man death scene AND THEN AGAIN AT Fitz’s death and while Peter’s is so strong because of the importance of spider-man and how desperately he fights it, I think Fitz’s was better played because Iain had so much more time and dialogue to work with: The way his hands, voice and breathing shakes constantly and how he is focused on the safety of other while he doesn’t even realize that he is dying…. Damn! I get affected just writing about it! Lol! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to watch either of those scenes without tearing up…! It was a great ride through 5 full seasons: Can’t wait for May to come around and AoS season 6 so we may watch it with you and sooooo many other reactors (Seriously: I’m gonna be watching more than 20 or 30 great reactors after each episode!). Until then: Cheers!
Every time I need an emotional lift, I watch the reaction compilation of the Philinda kiss; every time I want to feel soft and smooshy, I watch the reaction compilation of the Fitzsimmons wedding; every time I want to see reactors shock in awe, I watch the reaction compilation of double-Fitz twist in The Devil Complex; and every time I want a good cry and see grown men and women sob or wail in disbelieve, I watch the compilation of the Fitz-boulder scene of this episode.
1. Love the reaction to Fitz death. Thanks for sharing actual emotions! 2. Yes, Fitz died. But remember, Fitz froze himself back in episode 5 instead of just jumping to the future. So he's still frozen now on his way to 2091. Since there's no shattered planet for him to wake up to in 2091, all they need to do is track him down and tell him the problem is solved. 3. I LOVE the line "find the strength in your arms to knock him senseless" after hiding the solution in her bracers. 4. Thanks for doing the whole season. Can't wait to join you for season 6, with or without the trailer.
What was the most devastating death in the MCU that week? "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good" or "Mac, I think my leg's broken."? Yeah, he died, but he went through the loop the long way around (rather than through the monolith), which means his alternate past self is still frozen in space and waiting for a future that's no longer canon because the loop has been broken. Hypothetically, if they can find him and thaw him out, they'll have a spare Fitz, who hasn't experienced most of this season (which means he never got married, never took Daisy's inhibitor out, and never died). This is something The Flash keeps (inconsistently) failing to take into account. When you go back in time to a time when you existed, there should be two of you. Fitz is dead. Fitz is alive.
Your reactions are always great, but this one was particularly special. I also cried while watching this episode, and then seeing you cry made me cry all over again. You really are a fantastic reactor. Well done :)
I bawled like a baby. I threw a pillow at my television and walked out. This was the equivalent of a certain GoT episode in making me mad at a story. I love the actor.
This is a real Shrodinger's cat situation with Fitz, as he is both alive and dead at the same time. Fitz was cut in half and died when the roof came down. But his earlier version is still out in space in a cryochamber waiting out the 74 years to reach the future.
That scene outrages me. It also definitely feels surreal when you watch it. I can't believe they made me watch that WITH OWN TWO EYES... dangit Iain De Caestecker... and then it was swept under the rug with "he's out in space" and WHO CARES IF HE DIED. I mean, I am glad there's a backup in cryo... but he essentially just missed a whole season.
that scene was absolutely savage. Damn AOS fakeouts! That eerie single-tone ambiance in the background firstly along with Mack trying to comfort fitz but he seems just as in shock as Fitz was. One of the most real feeling death scenes i ever saw
Thank you for all those great reactions, Logan. It was a great journey to re-watch AoS with you. I can't wait for it to start again with season 6, and this time we fans we'll all be doing it together.
Do you remember in season 3 when Coulson was going to kill Ward? He left Mack in charge because he is the only one who doesnt take things personally. He knows what their job is and he does it without question while everyone else thinks emotionally. You could see in this season Daisy was too close to Coulson to make the right decisions. So like she said,Mack is their moral center.
"because he is the only one who doesnt take things personally" Not really. Coulson chose Mack because he was "the only person without ties to Ward in whom he trusted". Which means that even back then Coulson wanted someone else but because of ties to Ward he couldn't chose that person so Mack was his first pick without ties to Ward.
'That Scene' made a lot of us cry. And then the writers blindsided us by reminding us, that the Fitz who died was in fact a Fitz from several decades down the timeline, a timeline that now doesn't happen..... And the Fitz from that point in the timeline is frozen in suspended animation aboard a spaceship...... And yes, this is the show that keeps breaking us, time and time again!
@jockadoobee In my mind Mack is a great human, full of empathy and with really good moral compass but that doesn't mean that he should lead spy organization. I feel like the most important quality for a Shield director is being a great strategist and tactician - that's one of the qualities which Coulson and Fury were sharing. Over 5 seasons I never saw Mack as great strategist or tactician. He could be a good head of school or something like this but not in spy/military type of organization. And as much as I love Mace I must admit that he also never had this quality, he was a great PR guy, politician, he could be even a good agent but not director material either.
Damn, this hit me hard man! I just wanted to reach through the screen and give you a hug! Awesome reaction 👏🏾. Also, you're probably the first reactor I've seen that didn't approve of Mack being in charge. Although I don't agree, it's SUPER refreshing seeing a different view on it👍🏾! I'm gonna miss these reactions...but I'm looking forward to season 6!
I agree that Mack shouldn't be in charge. He usually makes the wrong desisions and he is always SCARED! Should be entertaining TV. I really want to see how Mack as director turns out.
@@msmarch33192 a lot of them do though🤔 . His decisions don't stand out to me as more worse than the others. But as I said, everyone has a different take on every character.
Fitz is asleep in the cryo chamber in the present timeline with enoch and hunter, the timeline where they were about to get arrested after the whole lmd and aida situation. He went into the future to rescue them. After that the team didnt go back in the present timeline but they went in the timeline where the earth is about to be in danger so all of them are STILL in the future. fitz died in this timeline so now the team have to go back in the present timeline where fitz is asleep. the present fitz didnt experience anything that happened in the future, wedding to jemma included.
The whole thing with fitz is that the one they sent forward to save them is still alive so they have to find him because the one that came back with them died
I honestly think that Daisy is a great leader. Yes, she does act up on emotions sometimes but isn't Couson doing the same for five seasons now? Obviously she's gonna want to save Coulson just like he would choose Daisy over and over again as he did last seasons. She thinks strategically while not forgetting the human and emotion part. If everyone would just follow her damn orders, Fitzsimmons and YoYo would get to the machine and wouldn't fix it and it would be all fine.
@jockadoobee I'd argue that Ruby wouldn't have been quite as intimidating as Talbot was because she didn't have the same level of control and willpower that Talbot did. Of course it's gonna be hard to know for sure what would have happened if she had got all of the Gravitonium. And for all we know Werner may have eventually gotten around to getting her out of there at a certain point. And the Superior may have been able to stop Ruby if he played it smart enough and didn't leave his human head out in the open (that whole thing is weird writing in and of itself). I'd also add that the only reason that Ruby even got away was because Deke got himself hurt while being on that mission for no explained reason. It was a major writing contrivance to justify Ruby being out and about. I also wouldn't say Daisy didn't listen to Jemma so much as she had her plan and Jemma had hers. Daisy just didn't trust Fitz or was willing to let him out. But she was in charge so while they disagreed she wasn't wrong for not going with Jemma's idea. She even was willing to offer a compromise by letting Jemma gather up some intel from him.
I'm sorry you were broken, Logan, but I think that just shows what great writing and acting together is supposed to look like. And don't worry because we were all right there with ya. :) Agents of SHIELD is the best, I loved your reaction, and I can't wait to be able to watch your season 6 reactions.
The Fitz that died was the one that went into suspended animation, woke up in the future, went back in time, and got married. However, the Agents of Shield can still recover Fitz who is currently in suspended animation.
Asdsdsff i missed the premiere (i didn't have wifi yesterday)! Ahhh i was here from episode 1 and now it's over! At least you get to taste a little hiatus with us lol :D Oh, boy, you did not see this coming. None of us did, honestly. They killed Fitz LIKE THAT and they had this montage of packing his stuff and "in memorial" and IT WAS ABOUT COULSON BECAUSE FITZ IS IN FACT STILL ALIVE, HE'S JUST IN SPACE WITH ENOCH. The Fitz who died is the one "from the future". So basically, when they escaped Kasius and Sinara and went back to the present, there were 2 Fitzes: One with the team, and the one one who was still in space in the cryo chamber with Enoch by his side (the one from episode 5x05) :D So Basically, what I hope for season 6 is to see Fitzsimmons wedding again because this Fitz is not even engaged yet :D And I hope Enoch will be back too! YES Ian de Caestecker deserves an Emmy, I keep telling that. Also, it was good to see you cry after so many of us sobbed during this scene :D See, none of us remembered it until the very end when we saw the postcard again. WOW. After what, 3 seasons of Fitz being #1, he finally fall down one spot I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. Though it makes sense :D
Nobody here can look me in the face and tell me that “He gave gave us his wisdom, his love, and his life (a couple of times)” wasn’t a complete head nod to “She saved the world. A lot.”
Dana says- Fantastic reaction. Fitz's death broke ALL of us. Others have explained how he's dead, but another timeline Fitz is alive. My guess is season 6 will show that Coulson has really died (his character arc ended too perfectly) and hopefully we have Fitz back (but confused at what he missed). I have some qualms about Mack being the Director of SHIELD. Sometimes his morality keeps him from doing the tough things that need to be done. I think he's a better choice right now than Daisy. She's not quite ready- lets personal attachment dictate her leadership choices. May might've been my choice, now that Coulson is gone (but she's spending his final days with him). I'm glad we didn't get the snap on AoS. When filmed, EPs thought this was probably Aos's series finale. Can you imagine never seeing our beloved team come back from that?
I wouldn't say that Mack's moral compass is an obstacle. I feel like the most important quality for a Shield director is being a great strategist and tactician - that's one of the qualities which Coulson and Fury were sharing. Over 5 seasons I never saw Mack as great strategist or tactician. And as much as I love Mace I must admit that he also never had this quality, he was a great PR guy, politician, he could be even a good agent but not director material either.
I don't think he's coming back, there's a line in an earlier episode where he admits he can't survive in space, also I think his last scene is suggesting he's flying towards the sun. In Blind Wave's reaction, one of them suggested he should share the scene with Ebony Maw, that'd be nice.
Don’t worry Logan. I didn’t get the Fitz part either the first time because Fitz’s death made me so upset that I shut down and couldn’t process what they were saying about Space Fitz.
Awesome reaction, Logan. Don't worry, we were all broken after this episode. I remember reading somewhere that Fitz's death scene perfectly shows the way a person in shock acts: so repeating oneself, not being able to think straight and the shaking. Just shows how amazing Iain is as an actor. Can't wait for next season! I'll gladly join you in the discussions.
the whole way through the death scene i was saying to myself “no, the writers would never make him die without jemma. they wouldn’t do that to us”. i mean i wasn’t right but i wasn’t wrong. i was crying for about 10 mins and then had the same what the heck reaction as you😂
Good news, everyone! If you’ve seen Futurama: Bender’s Big Score, you know that Fitz had to die as he was a time travel duplicate and was doomed. It’s just science.
I also cried like a baby when this Fitz died. And yes, I then had to write out the timeline on paper to figure out what had happened! Now WATCH THAT TRAILER!
This was an amazing episode and an amazing reaction. The Fitz scene claims another victim. We were all a mess during it, so you definitely weren't the only one messed up by it. Iain DeCaestecker is phenomenal in that scene (all his scenes, really). Thank you Logan for all the entertaining reactions. So happy you enjoy the show and are now a part of this small, but active fanbase. Looking forward to your season 6 reactions. 🍋🍋
Future Fitz came back with the team from 90 years or so in the future. Since it hasn't been that long yet Fitz from the past timeline is still frozen in the pod from the episode with Hunter. The whole time paradox thing.
When I watched this live, and fitz died, I cried my eyes out. I had to pause it because I was so upset I couldn't watch it. When I finally composed myself about 20 minutes later, five minutes back into the episode they reminded me that there is a version of fitz in cryo sleep waiting to save the team in the future. Remember the only way for fitz to get to the team in the future was to go to sleep for decades? Well that version is still alive. The fitz that saved the team in the future, married Simmons and "tortured" daisy to give her powers back, that fitz is dead. But the fitz that got left behind in the diner, is still alive, asleep, in space somewhere. With enoch. So a version of him is dead but he's not completely dead.
@Hira I was so mad that I had forgotten too! They really got me. I do agree he had to die. Also I think it'll be interesting having the crew interact with a fitz that hasn't had all the same experiences. Like Daisy harbors very harsh feelings towards him for restoring her powers, rightfully so, but this fitz didn't do that. And this fitz hasn't married jemma and doesn't know about deke. And anything that happen post freezing. I think it'll be very interesting to watch. But in the moment I was devastated.
Season 6 they go to deep space and find the other Fitz, also it is better that Mack became the where he’s trying to save as many people as he can but Daisy makes the decision with that leadership to save 1 life, lastly I said to remember Fitz line about 1 life over millions
Thanks for letting us in on the journey, a chance for many of us to remember how amazing this show is on first watch :). Looking forwards to season 6 :D
We all cried Logan, and AOS and Marvel twitter was trolling us at that moment about Fitz they know that we love him. Your reactions are great till we meet again season 6.
I don't know why, but I find your disdain for Mack so hilarious. I think it's because the show so clearly views all the things you dislike about him favorably. Whatever it is, it's funny. Really enjoy your reactions by the way.
I’m sure everyone answered this by now but yes Fitz is alive. Time paradoxes can be confusing, but Fitz was the only person who existed in the past with two versions of himself present. The Fitz that came back was technically an anomaly. Therefore it made the most since for him to die, since it would be very dramatic, but also not the end of his story. The loop got broken so there is no need for him to stay in cryo till the future date we saw. So that Fitz can be revived and back on the team. But he won’t have any memories or personality growth he achieved once he went into cryo, which will make for interesting dynamics next season. Daisy hates him for what he did to her except that version didn’t do it, as an example.
Remember - they went back from the future with the monolith to the present, back to a point in the time line where Fitz had already gone into cryogenic sleep in space. So the Fitz still in space awaiting rescue is an earlier version of Fitz who will never reach that apocalyptic future, propose to and marry Simmons, torture Daisy, etc. Make sense?
Yeah, no, Fitz died. Its just that because they stopped talbot from breaking the earth, they can now go and get the Fitz who is in cryosleep with Enoch, because he no longer has to go to the future.
I was just writing this before the chat ended. The only person who could sense the different timelines is Robin. In the Robin and May Flashback scene, she talks about how she hadn't seen a successful ending yet. During Robin's last words, she tells May that she has an important job to do, but all we know at that point is she tells the team about Flint which seemed a bit weak. Maybe Robin was the one to tell May to break the Odium!
agreed , I don't think I have cried to any show or movie, maybe Ragnar's death in Vikings, i cant remember but it is rare and Fitz death did get me. he is one of my favourites from this show along with ward, I haven't watched past this season as they pretty much ended it here and looks like it wont be as good after this season so didn't wanna ruin it if it isn't great. thing that put me off is how they found away to have Coulson in the show even though he died
In case anyone is still confused about the time travel thing, i made a diagram a while back: i.redd.it/dgjn89isfwc21.png Hopefully helpful (note: contains cast info for 6th season)
Logan thank you for your great reactions to AOS, I love this show. We were all very emotional during this episode and for me it took awhile to get over it. Ian is such a great actor and I don’t want a Shield without Coulson 😓. Looking forward to your S6 reactions.
He should win a reward or something for his acting, I mean I swear every single time I see this I just cry Very good reacting vid, friend. See you next season :)
(Long comment beware) Oh god the finale actually broke you. Like, legit broke you. Wow. I guess if I ever needed more proof of just how brilliant this show is, there you have it. But honestly, same. Even with my misgivings with Fitz past "Devil's Complex", I still teared up. Because it's Fitz, no matter what, it's still Fitz and he's been here from the beginning. And even though there's still a Fitz up in space, it's not the Fitz we've seen since episode 5 of this season, so effectively, original timeline Fitz did in fact die. Secondly, DAISY ACTUALLY BREACHED THE #1 SPOT!!!! Even though in that poll way back in the beginning of season 5 I _did_ vote for the option of the number 1 spot changing sometime during the season with Daisy in mind, I had my doubts. But she's been awesome these past couple episodes, so I guess it makes sense. I'm still glad that the bus kids kept the top 3 though! But I wonder, since the Fitz we'll get back is the Fitz we had at the end of episode 5, would that affect his placing? Since he hasn't done what the Fitz that died this episode did? Thirdly, THIS EPISODE WAS SO GOOD! If last episode was all the wonderful set-up, then this episode was the biggest, best payoff ever!!! Everything from this past season and even seasons before that came together beautifully! Really quite a masterpiece. Though I do agree that I'd rather have Daisy. She might not be completely ready yet, but she has definitely displayed excellent leader qualities in the past. It's just that she isn't fully over season 3 yet. (Which makes sense and I'm glad it's still affecting her because something like that doesn't go away that easily, especially when you spiral further down than climb up) Lastly, I'd honestly never leave the channel because of a difference in opinions regarding the show (The only reason I'd do that in general would be if he person in question suddenly turned xenophobic, but that's ridiculous). Your reactions are very entertaining and even when we might disagree, you always explain your position properly (even if it's not in the current or next video, you still eventually explain your position) and I can't fault that at all. Really looking forward to you watching it live so that we all discuss it on an even playing field, I'm sure the discussions would be so much better!
When Fitz died I was completely distraught. I kept watching the show but I couldn't even concentrate on what was happening, I was bawling and so very angry at the writers. I missed the bit about him being frozen, and I hated that the characters seemed to act like it wasn't a big deal that he died. Honestly, in that moment I couldn't have cared less about Coulson dying. So I had to give myself a half hour to compose myself and rewatch the ending. I heard about frozen Fitz, but I was still angry at the writers because when the show aired they didn't know that it had been renewed. So they were going to leave us with this heartbreaking death scene of my most beloved fictional character of all time! Ugh. Honestly, I cried on and off for a few days whenever I thought about Fitz/AOS. I'm okay now that it's been renewed, but I still cry every time I see that scene. I cried way more at Fitz's death than I did at Spiderman's, and Spidey has been my favorite since I was a child. Loved your reactions throughout this journey. Looking forward to watching season 6 with you!
the fitz who died is the one who came back from the future with them, fitz of this time is still alive. what you gonna react now that agents of shield is finish?
You know, if you want to encourage your patreons to stay on until the next season, you could react to some additional Agents of Shield content...there is the dubsmash war (though I guess it would make sense to have at least an idea about Agent carter for that one...you know, season 1 has only eight episode and is a concluded story), there are the screen tests, there are some funny additional video...I can make you a list with links if you are interested….
Hey Fits really DID DIE. The one who died is the one who already travelled to the future (Future Fitz),but because they have broken the loop, they just need to get the FITZ sleeping in space and waiting to be waken up by the alien bald guy.
This show...just gets the emotional cords completely when it wants to. When I first watched, I was teary-eyed with Fitz passing....then...that music with Jemma...just completely overtakes you. Just a show that started out unsure of its own footing, then craftily earns its way into your list of all time favorite shows.
Mister Mackenzie, I don't feel so good. I think my heart is broken. (Fitz is dead *and* alive.) If you need bonus content there's bloopers of course, and a couple of audition reels and Agents of S.P.O.O.F. which is hilarious fan edits.
Would love to either get a video or a livestream regarding your overall thoughts on the whole show, like what would you rank it, how does it compare to other shows you have watched etc.
I will NOT be reacting to the season 6 trailer. I want to go in blind.
Alright my man, you do that. Respect to you. I'm trying to go into Endgame blind (minus the very first trailer), so I can understand that.
Spoiler alert. The cast has a big panel this weekend at Wondercon, possibly another trailer will be released!
@@travisspazz1624 I heard they were going to have a screening of the Season 6 Premiere.
@@gr8esthandleever Yeah! If you look at the schedule, it's longer than your normal con panel.
Be careful to avoid mentions of s6/AoS until it airs! there's an early screening of the first episode of it at a con so there may be spoilers online.
"I think my legs are broken" was way more painful than "I don't feel so good". This aired on my birthday and I never cried so hard in my life.
I don't understand why people like you are making a competition over it. They're both two scenes done amazingly with two great actors.
@@ItsXetren it's because one's more heartbreaking than the other. We only knew Spider-Man for three movies at that point while we knew Fitz for five seasons, which is longer than his entire screen time from Civil War to Infinity War, and that makes it more heartbreaking than "I don't feel so good"
That Fitz scene hit me harder than hundreds of Spiderman's who "don't want to go" T_T
Fitz in this this timeline is alive. The one who went to space in episode 5 of this season
“Mack… I think my legs are broken” I WILL NEVER NOT CRY WHEN THAT LINE IS SPOKEN
You forgot that theres Fitz whos still fronzen in space (fitz from the begging of this season)
So fitz who got married just died
but a younger version of him still exists in space. But we won't remember his wedding and every other event since that didn't happened to him yet. They created a new timeline. Kinda like in Back To The Future I guess.
Piro Man hopefully marriage still happens
Another detail is that Fitz died the same way the Patriot died in the Framework. That just goes to show how good the writing in this show is.
Daisy yelling outside the quinjet was the last footage before she destroyed the world deke showed that early in this season.
small correction, it was the old guy (Voss) who showed Daisy that footage.
Who the hell is sarah?
@@josselynmartinez2652 Polly. Robin's mom.
i just wish more of the TV shows being made these days were this original and written/directed/acted well enough to have this kind of an emotional impact on their audiences.
When Coulson said "Now he's frozen in deep space somewhere," That means that they are talking about the Fitz in the cryofreeze chamber.
Travis Spazz and fitz dying, Ian is an amazing actor
@@dylanleff373 Henry, Ming, and Iain played it perfectly!
What hit me the most that even May was crying
Fun fact: The first scene in 5x01 (ie, the first scene of the season) shows one of Robin's drawings, and it depicts Coulson and May on the beach, with the quinjet in the background (ie, the last scene of the season).
The same scene also foreshadows stuff like Talbot's body in space, among other things.
All reactors forgot about Space Fitz (during Fitz dying scene), the one sleeping waiting for the year 2091 to arrive. So we'll se Enoch again also.
"Mack, I think my legs are broken" > "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good"
Coulson said : " ... Find the strenght in your arms ... " Serum was in daisy 's arm.
"I've given you all the tools you need..." literally!
(SPOILER ALERT FOR INFINITY WAR)
Dude!
Coulson: "I've been surrounded by heroes ... not bigger than all of you."
I'm crying
Dammit Logan! Lol I got all excited before I noticed the “premiere”
"because he is the only one who doesnt take things personally"
Not really.
5:51 Mack was a great director in S3, so he should be a great one in S6 :).
After that the team didnt go back in the present timeline but they went in the timeline where the earth is about to be in danger so all of them are STILL in the future. fitz died in this timeline so now the team have to go back in the present timeline where fitz is asleep. the present fitz didnt experience anything that happened in the future, wedding to jemma included.
that hero speech always gets me....
The whole thing with fitz is that the one they sent forward to save them is still alive so they have to find him because the one that came back with them died
this show makes me cry more than any other form of media like i cant
That scene Messed me up to! Great season
At least you get to taste a little hiatus with us lol :D
Oh, boy, you did not see this coming.
Also, it was good to see you cry after so many of us sobbed during this scene :D
See, none of us remembered it until the very end when we saw the postcard again.
A lot.”
Ooooh I am going to miss these reactions.... Can't wait for next season
Glad to be in the AoS journey with you.. You are def in my list of top 10 AoS reactions..
Graviton got the Yondu treatment... but knowing who he is, he can survive up there... Gotta check the comics.
I don't think he's coming back, there's a line in an earlier episode where he admits he can't survive in space, also I think his last scene is suggesting he's flying towards the sun. In Blind Wave's reaction, one of them suggested he should share the scene with Ebony Maw, that'd be nice.
That damn scene makes me cry every time I see it. Ian is a hell of an actor. He should win an Emmy.
"Fuck".... Composes himself.... "Fuck".... Composes himself... "Fuck" 😂
Don’t worry Logan. I didn’t get the Fitz part either the first time because Fitz’s death made me so upset that I shut down and couldn’t process what they were saying about Space Fitz.
Loved the reaction! Can't wait to see your reactions to season 6! I get to watch episode 6x1 at WonderCon this weekend which I'm super excited about!
this was one of the best reactions I’ve watched of AOS, I’m currently rewatching u react to them even back from season 1👍🏾
Dude it's ok we all bawled when Fitz died . I needed a drink after this was over .😆
Agents Of FEELS
Hey Logan I've been waiting for you to catch up so I could ask you which do you think is better Agents of Shield or The 100?
Ouch, ask me that during a live stream. I have to think about that.
@@SimpleReactions Lol I completely understand I would have to break each show down to the smallest detail to even be able to choose between the two.
Since this was lined up with the events of Infinity War, at the end I was thinking "I s2g if that jet just suddenly dives down and crashes..."
Those tears were real! Fitz kills me everytime. Great reactions Logan! Loved rewatching with you from the start. Now your one of us!
Daisy is so badass 🤜🏽💕
Logan thank you for your great reactions to AOS, I love this show. We were all very emotional during this episode and for me it took awhile to get over it. Ian is such a great actor and I don’t want a Shield without Coulson 😓. Looking forward to your S6 reactions.
Fitz is frozen in Space btw Logan.
Indeed
This Fitz is dead, but there's another one with enoch in space
Acompanhei sua reação em todos episódios de AoS, chorei junto de novo... Muito bom suas reações \o/
He should win a reward or something for his acting, I mean I swear every single time I see this I just cry
Very good reacting vid, friend. See you next season :)
(Long comment beware)
Oh god the finale actually broke you.
(Which makes sense and I'm glad it's still affecting her because something like that doesn't go away that easily, especially when you spiral further down than climb up)
Lastly, I'd honestly never leave the channel because of a difference in opinions regarding the show (The only reason I'd do that in general would be if he person in question suddenly turned xenophobic, but that's ridiculous). Your reactions are very entertaining and even when we might disagree, you always explain your position properly (even if it's not in the current or next video, you still eventually explain your position) and I can't fault that at all. Really looking forward to you watching it live so that we all discuss it on an even playing field, I'm sure the discussions would be so much better!
everytime i watch this episode im big sad for like a week after
When Fitz died I was completely distraught.
Great reaction!!!
Thank you for all of your reactions! You got me through the year hiatus without too many withdrawals! Cant wait for season six!
"mr. stark i don't feel so good" allow me to introduce you to "mack i think my legs are broken"
That will already be going on at the $1 Tier
So I take it you don't need any links?
Hey Fits really DID DIE.
The one who died is the one who already travelled to the future (Future Fitz),but because they have broken the loop, they just need to get the FITZ sleeping in space and waiting to be waken up by the alien bald guy.
This show...just gets the emotional cords completely when it wants to. When I first watched, I was teary-eyed with Fitz passing....then...that music with Jemma...just completely overtakes you. Just a show that started out unsure of its own footing, then craftily earns its way into your list of all time favorite shows.
Logan.exe has crashed and needs to reboot lol
Mister Mackenzie, I don't feel so good.
I think my heart is broken.
(Fitz is dead *and* alive.)
If you need bonus content there's bloopers of course, and a couple of audition reels and Agents of S.P.O.O.F. which is hilarious fan edits.
Watching this sad episode while knowing this is also the last AoS reaction for a while is all just so... sad.
Fitz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would love to either get a video or a livestream regarding your overall thoughts on the whole show, like what would you rank it, how does it compare to other shows you have watched etc.
