You should have used hypo… excellent video Dave, really appreciate the details you share with us all. Well done you for getting such a huge job.. hopefully you get even more with results like that!!!
Should of used hypo 😊 Epic job Dave. All you neec now is a wireless remote start stop wired into your Briggs ignition circuit. Top tip for power brooms is to get a hardness for it but use bungee shock cord to make a counterbalance for it to offset the back end weight
No hypo i mean it's debateable, awesome job mate, it's massive, i am impressed tbh.. those jobs that big are awesome when they come in, I had one like that last year...
That would put a lot of people. off. respect for taking it on Dave but the experience of this will be fantastic from this job. for you and many of us !
You should of used hypo but I wouldn't of either, nice job Dave I run the same machine as yours had it for 5 years now keep thinking about getting a boiler for it
Hi Dave great video, I am currently doing a 650sqm block paved driveway and I’m impressed with the power brush for sanding large areas and the sludge is my nightmare trying not to block any ACO drains and I am averaging 20,000 steps a day doing it too😂
@@squeakycleandave1doesn’t the power broom cover you with sludge, knowing me I would be head to toe in wet moss and sand 😂 like the old tar and feather
All these Hypo comments 🤣, did they even listen to the vlog? Insane workout there Dave 💪🏽, bet your step count was looking amazing for a few days 😅. Wonderful stuff 🙌🏽
Hi mate, excellent job. Really enjoyed that video. Power broom was ingenious. Can I ask when re-sanding with it. Could you not have made a thick line of sand and then snaked forward horizontally at an angle rather than going in straight lines and then carrying it back? I honestly have never used one so this is a genuine question it looked a pain having to shift it back. Got a similar job coming up and am seriously considering getting one after watching this. Cheers 👍
I've been wanting to try one of these for years but never pulled the plug on one. Did you consider the rubber roller or just happy enough with the brush? Thanks
You should have used hypo! lol. I’d love to get a job like this one day. How did you manage the logistics with things like the water? Spread evenly between the properties or a wash out hydrant? How about managing the residents/customers? Were there any learning outcomes you took away? Thanks Dave, great job.
All the properties run the maintenance themselves as a business with one of the owners acting as business manager and all paying a monthly fee. I had arranged that I could use garden taps as my water supply and as they are on metres they would be reimbursed for there costs by there management business In all fairness the residents were fantastic all being really pleased to have the work done.
David should allow 5 to 7 days to allow paving to dry out properly before sand applied no contradiction the way you do it but thats how i do it less sand drop but good job
YOU SHOULD HAVE USED HYPO.... I get why you didn't but could you have used a biocide to kill off any growth? Iñ the people's drives you done as seperate could have had hypo used, just thinking of course if sections done at a time too but then probably would have added a lot more time on, possibly cone and tape off sections leave 1 path open and enough for one car to make it, Great job Dave, well done, see you gladly had some help too
@@almilhouse9059 I could have done as you said but would have taken much longer and I had other jobs booked in that I needed to get to. If the customers weren’t happy with the results I would have considered it but they were super happy with what I had done
Should have used hypo 🤣Great video mate looks of work but turned out amazing. What stops the sand from blowing out or getting washed out in bad weather??
@@squeakycleandave1 from what I heard about sealing, it's a bad job overall to many cons out weigh the pros. Would I be right in saying that in you opinion
I ran it at 200 bar and had my heater set to full which is 150 degrees C but when running at full pressure doesn't get it up to that heat but is still hot enough for there to be steam coming from the FSC
I’m only earning what earning because I’ve invested in training, equipment and experience and I’m giving that away for free. A lot of people have said that I have saved them a fortune and want to pay back a bit
Should have used hypo… Great video mate, how you finding the 30lpm machine. Did you have to keep stoping for the buffer tank to fill? Thinking of upgrading my machine from 21lpm to 30lpm, would you say it’s worth it?? Keep up the videos mate 👍
Power broom is a GAME CHANGER!
Shud have used, wow what a massive fantastic job, credit to you pal

Great job Dave, I use a 30 inch surface cleaner on jobs that size, your machine has the capacity, maybe to to invest in a bigger surface cleaner 🎉
Good tip. Might have to consider that 👍

What lpm you running the fsc at
30 litre/min
