  • I've collected my new pressure washer for the ambulance and while at PWS we dry-fitted it to make sure I had all the parts I needed to bring home.
    If there is anything you need for your pressure washer try PWS

    The build is in the back of an ambulance
    But the way this is coming together looks criminally good
    Nice to have Darren at PWS in the video too explaining things very simply - bravo both

    Dear oh dear I'm glad I wasn't eating my tea when all that lunging started and the camera shadow on Darren's trousers at the start I am on the floor - I thought he'd wet himself 😂😂

    Great to see the details of the components that go into a build. Don't use a plastic jerry can as they can cause static electricity to ignite the petrol!

      There are many thermoplastic fuel tanks in use within suitcase generators, small engines, and even aviation. Hence, why adding metallic tape or self-adhesive copper strips act as an efficient and effective ESD solution. I've used many plastic fuel tanks for the last 30 years and never once had any issues. A simple application of common sense will prevent any issues

    Question why did he go with the gearbox instead of belt drive on his pressure washer

    Ptfe is only useful if the threads have a defect, that’s all what it’s for, so when this chap says it’s not needed has he checked the threads??

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  9 месяцев назад

      It’s got nothing to do with the threads. The one part has a male cone inside and the other has a female cone inside so when they are tightened together they form a water proof seal

    Hi dave.thinking of getting this van set up as patios has now moved into stone restore roughly how much was the set up any info would be great and from experiance was it worth the investment

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  4 месяца назад

      I think the investment was definitely worth the money.
      Best thing to do about price is give Darren at PWS a call and tell him that you want a setup like mine and he will sort you out a price. I haven’t worked out what it cost me yet as I added a lot of different bits and put it all together myself
