Nuff respect Glen it will be a pleasure to meet you in the future , I've heard a lot about you from your brother Dalton whom I used to tour with Freddie it's like I know you before I meet you. Kindred spirits. Thanks for your knowledge and for sharing 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥👁👁👁🙈🙉🙊
Hi Glen! When I hear this melody I also think of Jah Cure and the song Forever cause I think that song is sampled from this, thanks for teaching how to play through the song 👌🏿🤙🏿💪🏿 Love and light champion. 🎵🎶
Thank you to choose this one! It´s a favourite since the mid 70-ties when I heard that song for the first time and the DUB version is GREAT with Scotty... Thanx and Bless Up! ☮🔴🟡🟢☮ From a chilly Belfast, Northern Ireland. On my channel I present three cool Reggae Bass lines... Yes I, I subscribed and liked! Irie Vibes!
NIce one Glen dis is my first time i have seen your video, and this is one is great cover version of a song.the baseline is outstanding, this to me is what sold the song.So thank again Glen, keep the thing going,Jah Bless.
Thanks to Derrick barnett i learn about you its refreshing to see one of the reggae meistro demonstrating how this thing is done keep up the good work I'll be supporting your channel nuff blessings one love !!!
im so glad to come across " reasoning with Glen pt 1.2 and 3..now i am watching your how to play bass series one by one hopping i will come across ' burning desire' tutorial.. if not can you please, please, please make one for us .i wish i was a fly on the wall when you recorded it ..keep them coming Glen ...im glad you made a full recovery!!
Greetings, it wasn't me who played that record, but you may have heard me playing it live. But I don't have a problem doing a tutorial for it, it's really a cool line. And when I do I'll let you know the name of the bass player.
Greetings and blessings Glen, I'm a big fan of your work! I'd love to see a tutorial on Tarrus' "She's Royal" (I'm assuming it was you on bass since I've seen you several times live with Blak Soil and Tarrus). I love how the song's based around the chords to Delroy Wilson's old hit "Money Love" although your (?) bassline is markedly different from the original, more syncopated and melodic. Anyhow, it'd be wonderful to see one of your great tutorials for that choon!
Greetings Bassiehd, I haven't done that tutorial because I never played that line. That bass line was Robbie Shakespeare. A lot of people think it's be because it has a similar vibe to how I play but that wasn't me.
@@GlenReggaeBasslines Wow! Sorry, I was almost sure it was you. But props to Robbie still. Some years ago I worked with a singer named Lymie Murray and actually played bass on a couple of albums produced here in California for him. He said any time he was in JA recording, you were his bassie of choice. Meanwhile, keep the wikked tutorials coming. Val has been my bass hero from time!
