Hey millguy another card that works super well with mill that you probably wouldn't expect is lilah, undefeated slingshot. I have been dropping people like bad habits because of the free recast on cards like breaking/entering, glimpse the unthinkable. As examples

Plus any other multi colored Instant/sorcery cards you can think of. Split cards are amazing with her since you can cast the expensive side for free

I’m happy, but sad at the same time; I had ALWAYS wanted to play mill. Started with Burn, wanted to play mill but the more experienced players at my LGS recommended I get more experience and wait until I can afford multiple decks because it wasn’t a deck I should « main » since the meta wasn’t for it for so long. This deck was cheaper than the merfolk deck I ended making and playing once or twice…. I’ll never be able to afford mill at this rate 😭

At 18:45, wouldn’t the play be to play the crab, play field, mill twelve then crack field on sacred foundry with the hope that they no longer have a basic mountain in deck so they can’t double bolt on upkeep?

I personally wouldn't play it in this build. While it is a game of resources, and HB does a great job at that game, it also turns off field of ruin while in play. I could see it in Azorius crab control as a 1-of, since that deck is looking more for that playstyle, but in the Dimir build, I don't think it's worth it in any matchup.
