He is so gracious about answering the same questions in every interview over the last 30 years. What a gem!
🤺☦🇷🇺Of course, he is, cuz he's making a lot of money from that TM scam with his pagan satanic freaks of Maharishi's corporation who suck billions of dollars of naive zombies like you. He thanks you gladly for giving him that hype so he can spend your dollars on his dumb pretentious films🤦♂️😅🤢
I swear, its like watching the same interview again and fucking again.
Maybe partially on the interviewers and partially on Lynch himself that most interviews contain many of the same details. Not everyone is a hall of mirrors.
Listening to David Lynch interviews bring me such a degree of comfort ❤️
I like that David Lynch says what he means to say and then stops - he doesn’t ramble
A skill that we all should master.
He takes his time, which is something that is rare today. Currently, people are put under pressure, or put themselves under pressure,to spew as much information as they can, in as short a time as they can. The result is a deadening of the whole process of communicating.
What I love about Lynch, is that he doesn't carry the mantel of elitist art snobbery. I've seen several interviews with him where the host assumes some erudite posture when asking questions about his work. He never fails to bring it back down to earth. And he doesn't pontificate about his work in condescending ways. A Film makers, film maker.
🤺☦🇷🇺No, what you really mean is that, he is a weird nerdy freak and a sick pervert who is the classic example of a nerdy elitist art-school snobbery and the term pretentious was made especially for him lol. Also he's making a lot of money from that TM scam with his pagan satanic priests of Maharishi's corporation who suck billions of dollars of naive z0mbies like you. He thanks you gladly for giving him that hype so he can spend your dollars on his dumb pretentious films🤦♂️😅🤢
"I love listening to Lynch. He brightens up my days"
absolutely
Lynch and Devin Townsend, two if not the only two of the people who brighten up my day
Its no wonder David and Sharon are Judges at the Cairns feasible Both. Class Acts.
🤺☦🇷🇺Maybe cuz u r a z0mbie fanboy lol. I am Lynch, I am this weird nerdy old freak and pervert who makes weird movies with midgets and stuff too look smart and cool, ooh I am an artist😅🤣 .
I love this man- and to me, he seems to be the only person in the world who talks any sense

Wowwww. I never knew this was professionally shot. Im in like the 2nd row
Two INCREDIBLE hair styles!
Love it his favourite animal was his Jack Russel called Sparky..the love of his life. Every day this man makes me so happy. Love Jacks.
He will direct his knowledge and his counsel as he mediitates upon his mysteries . Thank you mister Lynch for awakening the Artist in me , I've been away for a long time 💕
David Lynch really has a genius way to make simple things become very complex. Interesting man.
I forgot the type of injury to the brain, but he reminds me of it (probably not true and totally not in a bad way). Causes you to leave your sentences minimal and to the point.
An intelligent, intuitive man. He's in touch with his feminine side.
He speaks with remarkable clarity. And completely guileless.
After watching his films this is almost exactly what I expected him to be like... totally strange... he actually seems present himself with a sense of normality but you still feel like there's a dark underbelly to him. I suppose that's the type of persona demanded for such strange but impressionable work... this guy is an unconventional genius.
John Doe Very well put!
he's a TRUE artist in the purest sense. Pure integrity.
A photography exhibition of his was disappointing, which was basically kinky fashion images - super high heels etc.
@@kayem3824 are you really surprised after seeing twin peaks or blue velvet? that kinkiness has always been a part of his movie imagery. i checked his photography out after reading this comment and a lot of it is very beautiful (and yes, kinky), especially his black and white work. he's a true artist.
🤺☦🇷🇺No, what you really mean is that, he feels like a weird nerdy freak and a sick pervert inside. Woman: "I was wondering if you identify with any animals" Lynch: "Identify with?" Woman: "Yeah, like, I identify with rabbits." Lynch "You--you like rabbits?"
That's a completely normal question....if she was 10 years old.
@@M139NG She was probably referring to Lynch's web series. Guess what the title of that web series was???
Today you look like a little chiwowow.

This man remains a full mystery...😐 still an awesome director so surreal
Always have final cut. I hope one day this is true for directors in Hollywood
Lovely interview. I enjoyed it very much.
So many interviewers try to tell Lynch what he is doing or what it means and he usually says "No, it's actually this way." It seems like people do not learn or can't figure it out.
Eric Chamberlain I noticed this as well. Glad u mentioned it :)
It's a bad way to interview creators don't you think?
David Lynch is Greatness!
The older David Lynch gets the handsomer he gets.
beauty is in the eyes if the beholder.😍
TM, baby ;)
What a good life does to a mfer
That's because he's a man of good character, simple as that.
Great, insightful questions.
The person interviewing D.L. reminds me of the Therapist in Twin Peaks 😂
The interviewer is like a Lynch character, with his hair and nervous and awkwardness
Yes!
David is inadvertently makin him feel awkward... some pretty stupid questions some of them #painful
The comment is like a Lynch character, with the same under every Lynch interview and its little hope
Oh no he said brainstorming
The Lynch Disturbance Field. Lynch turns his surroundings into something strange and unsettling.
Beautifull
"when .. he told me his father was a fine art painter... I .. almost passed out" lolol
This is about the safest interview with Lynch, and I've seen many.
what do u mean safest
We need this genius to be making more movies !!
i'm from philadelphia and i love david lynch.
A national treasure.
Why DO interviewers insist on asking the same questions over and over?
They KNOW it has been a dead end many times before.....Just ask the guy about cake, or whatever!
The interviewer said "i'll just walk on stage like this, what the hell"
27:20 40:03 41:15 you're welcome
39:01 and onward is the reason why i would never ask david lynch a question
He said that dozens of times. Philadelphia was a bleak place to him especially in contrast to his idealistic childhood so living there inspired a bleak movie.
32:05 He really IS Gordon Cole !!!!
zdevos What!? Coop? I cant hear you! But its good to see you
I had never thought David Lynch would age. I know it's weird but I never expected that to happen to him.
Weird, I guess it's because of his character and the fact that he is David Lynch.
" DAVID LYNCH"...CREATED A LEGACY Of FILM MAKING ...UNFOLDED HIS CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE Through The Practice Of TM---(Transcendental Meditation) , Applying The Same Into The "DAVID LYNCH FOUNDATION"...A LIFE EXPRESSING The "UNIQUE" GENIUS "WITHIN".......
Look like the host went full Dougie and stuck a fork in a plug socket before going onstage.
that story he tells at 17:00 is fucking incredible, he seriously needs to write books
GREAT!
David is very patient.
Epic.......
love
Look at this crummy lighting.
At “Academy of the Fine Arts” no less……
that poor girl with the animal question bless her heart
Oh I don't know if I agree, it's interesting to know how he thinks about about animals. Hasn't he lived in some out of the way places such as Montana and Washington State, where one has more interaction with animals than one does in more urban settings...
Sparky is a perfect name for a Jack Russel.
Glad he makes movies bc he most certainly was destined to be a serial killer the way he describes his art
♥️😎❤️
The lighting in ur museum sucks
you know anything about hollogram movie makers that work for a microwavegun or laser weapon. that shoots hollograms over the los angeles ca free way and uses thousands of people that do gang murders and blow away half thee town stealing thousands of dollars and using alledged actors to set people up in airplane crashes and movie studio shooting then always return the building to next set of people? and make these movies on the side of the california freeway to run another airport or take over a police station? The Interviewer seems distracted and disconcerted
These school people don’t understand creative geniuses like him. They NPCs

TM is all well and good (as it has been for the past 50 years) but what about the effects of the brain being inundated and poisoned by radio frequency radiation from microwave emitting cell towers, cell phones, base stations, etc? Especially for those living an unsafe distance to these poisonous machines. This relatively recent problem has clearly prove to be a problem! These well educated, well meaning TM people have failed to address the toxic overload of tens of millions of people being exposed to high powers radio frequency radiation (RF) on a 24/7 daily basis, year in year out! Where's the studies?? I know Maharishi would want to know the results. I'm happy he didn't live long enough to know the results of his beautiful meditators being poisoned by 24/7 cellular radiation exposure and poisonous chem trails! Has the cell tower lobbyists who are running the FCC bought off the TM braintrust to shut up and look the other way?
aaaand you typed this with a cell phone, nice move
he looks so old now :\ i feel bad for him.
why? Your going to grow old and look like shit eventually m
Lorne Malvo ... grow old! And we will all feel sorry for you. Trust me! Bangkok-Johnny www.pattayatoday.net
don't feel bad for him. he is in pure bliss.
He looks great here and even now in 2020!! The guy is ageing greatly. One of the most interesting minds ever. A true original
