- It's been almost 4 months since I was diagnosed with Stage IV esophageal cancer. I promised I'd give an update sooner than this, but unfortunately wasn't able to due to the side effects of the chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Since my previous update, the cancer has spread and become even more advanced, despite the ongoing treatments. I am still in the fight.
In this video, I explain where I'm at now, and the outlook for the future.

Due to some recent things I went through, my new definition of a good day is a day where I wake up in the morning. It is truly enlightening and can make for a happier life, to live in each moment. I hope your new treatment gives you more time to enjoy each day. 🤗

I just found your channel today and saw your "I have cancer" video first. I'm so sorry to hear that you have stage 4. I've been fighting cancer for over 8 years. That’s very tough news for you to hear, I’m so sorry the treatments you’ve had so far have made you feel so rough. Hope the new treatment does some good, new treatments come on line everyday so hang in there and keep strong. Perspective is everything and it sounds like you got this. The news was devastating when I heard it on Instagram and it was no easier to hear in this video. Gosh. Seems like just a couple of weeks ago that the first video came out. Everything I said in my comment on that video still stands. Stay strong, we're here for you. Also, as overwhelming as all this must be, as a silver lining I have to say that the fact that you're still going forth with your plans as a content creator and artist is incredibly inspiring. I love that you're not going to let this ruin or consume your life. I hope that if something like this ever happens to me, that I also have the strength to keep doing what I love and what I was planning before.

Great to see you back at it! I changed my user name, used to Severcat. I'm glad you're still gonna go with your plans. Build your legacy whether you have 50 days or 50 years left. Nobody knows the future. I've taken care of patients who were on Cyramza, keep lots of blankets on stand by! I had one pt who wanted so many on her legs she could have done lifts for muscle growth...lol...and drink your fluids! Little sips at a time if you have to. Setzer water and saltines might become your best friend for a while....How's Emilee doing with all of this? We're here for both of you!

Anthony, I'm praying for you. My husband had pancreatic cancer. It hit out of no where. Then my father stage 4 liver. This was 1991. If today both would of had chances of survival. But, we didn't know then, and technology wasn't what it is today. In 2005 my BFF was diagnosed with esphogeal cancer. 1st sign, sore throat, after 3 weeks, I insisted he go to the hospital Dr.'s I worked for. He's a Vet. So they got him into VA within a day. Testing show a very small spot. So he went to their ENT who scoped, took biopsy. 4 days later confirmed cancer. March 1st. They set a date for surgery removal MAY 5TH! Because he was uninsured, he had no choice but the VA. By time surgery date.. Cancer size of grateful. Sticking out side of lower neck. He was given 20% chance of survival of 1 year with catastrophic surgery. Zero chance of 3 weeks without surgery.
They removed his RT jaw done, 75% of his tongue, RT side of neck, shoulder, and femur muscle to rebuild a tongue. But they said he'd never have anything in his mouth again.
He had the surgery. Months of on & off chemo & radiation. By July, he was ready to go to heaven. But, myself...being a emergency triage nurse. I told him & the doctors... Not on my watch! I took over care, stayed with him 24/7... It was a hard fight. But 3 yrs later. Still alive, 5 yrs alive, 7 years alive, 10 years alive. 12 years alive. He died in his 13th year. 2018...Not of cancer, but a heart attack. He was 62.. While he live. By his 2nd yr recovering, he was talking, swallowing water, juice, smoothies, by the 5th year... Riding his Harley. Their is NO expiration date stamped on the bottom of your foot. So fight like hell!!! Do seek alternative care, other Dr.s who specialize. If possible Cancer Treatment Center is so up to date with new technology. Keep spirits up, try to see yourself 4 years from now working your business. Cancer can be killed, shrink it to point that surgery is possible. Eat as healthy as possible. I made him smoothies everyday with all kinds of fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, herbs. Our last physician swears it was the change in diet, and reverse attitude of a fighter beyond imagined. Why he beat the 98% against him odds. I will never again accept a medical professional opinion of how much time we have when dealing with catastrophic disease.
Anthony, I believe in you. I know you'll find a new course, and it will work. I refuse to believe anything else. Never give up. You have thousands people supporting you. Kill the cancer! Do start your business! Live!!!! Really live to the fullest. We all should life in this manner regardless of our health situation. I'll be watching for your updates.. God Speed darlin! You've GOT THIS! Most importantly, never be hard on yourself. Just do your best. Your personal best. Not compare with anyone else. You are going to be ok. No matter what! That is all that's needed. It won't hurt to simply have unwavering faith, believe, but it just might help. 🙏💞🙇♀️🕊️💫
This is one of the tougher cancers to deal with. Been following Todd Langley's journey on Unboxing Cancer With Me. His esophagus was removed.

I have been worried about you. It sucks that you went through these treatments and it didn't work. I sincerely hope this other type of treatment will be successful. I will be thinking of you.

My partner of 21 years fought a long battle he died on Halloween, we also were nuts about Halloween. I'm devastated, can't sleep , but the Jamie Lee Curtis story that she married Anthony and his fiance bought me to his videos

What's keeping me going is going to my loves grave and placing flowers and keeping his memories alive, I haven't sent a Christmas card in 4o years , so this year I sent out cards , my love always sent out cards for every occasion, so little things like that I feel I can keep him alive for me, everyone finds their way , I hope

We never know what cards we get in life, im working as a carer for a woman with MS and my daughter is a nurse for leukemiapatients so we get reminded about this every day. Anthony, have you heard of the M Anderson Cancer hospital in Houston Texas? There is two people that I know that swear by this hospital. Please just look into them so you have years to plan the rest of your life. Hugs 🤗
