    Jeez.. you actually talk!? I believed you only showed up on stage, played the cello like a little beast and then poofed away into fairy dust until the next appearance!

    Thanks for posting this! Great to see what sounds you can capture with the equipment you're using - and just how powerful these rigs are that home studios are using. I don't know how often you have a need to collaborate, but I'm also based in LA if you ever need an another instrumentalist/programmer!

    This video is wonderful and a nice reminder that you don’t need a world class studio like Abbey Road to record music. It’s all about a few great tools and a helluva lot of talent.

  • @WaheedGulawaazgroupusa
    @WaheedGulawaazgroupusa 8 лет назад +1

    Thanks for sharing this video. You are certainly an amazing musician/artist. The quality of music you are producing from your home studio is far better then many of the studios we see around. Fancy gadget vs basic tools - does make a difference, but most important is to know how to make use of them. I am sure many of us will find something to learn from this video tour.

Y claro con tantísimo talento los Límites sólo los estableces tú misma en función de tus capacidades.... Nunca me imaginé que me gustaría tanto oir un Cello...Pero mira aquí estoy....jojo...!!!

    Thank you so much for this video Tina! More than what you use, I got to know a bit more about you, as a person. Your organized workspace, your priority for hygiene, your simplicity and how you make the most of it so beautifully. And you're so soft spoken and gentle compared to your aggressive wild personality in most of your music videos. I really loved that. You're really an inspiration to people like me who wants to venture into this stream of making music. Thank you so so so much!!

Would love to see you panning, working on EQ, mixing and mastering. I wonder what kind of decisions you make. Will have to buy your material. Very cool video, thanks for sharing.

    Smart thing with that speaker/room simulation device. Does it drive your headphones by itself or do you need extra headphone amplifier? I have a VST effect that does something similar, but an external device seems really handy.
    I have an old pair of Sennheiser HD600 and need quite much amp go drive them, but perhaps HD650 are easier to drive?
    Oh, and I liked the music you played in this video. Will checkout the rest of your catalogue :)

    That piece at 10:24 you showed real quick it sounds so much alike one of the soundtracks of The Last of Us - All Gone (No Escape)!!!!
    That piece is such an emotional piece (when it plays in the story *no spoiler)!!!
    I freaking love the cello in that OST :D
    Even as little as you actually showed us, it might not even be that song, but whatever. xD

So --- based on what I just said, it may not seem like it; but I feel like words sort of escape me. Truly. About all I can add is just --- WOW ! Or maybe a really BIG WOW! (I told you words escape me.)

    You know your stuff! I have a lot of the same gear (audio that is). Pick up a rode NT2a and do some MS recording to expand your room sound in post. I know you're not in Abbey Road studio or Sony Scoring stage but the color of the room can add some dimension to your recordings. Also I mix on cans so if you mix for theater you need to boost the 1+khz range by around 2db which won't sound right on the headphones. Peoples bodies and the curtains and such absorb the higher end so you have to compensate.

    Tina, You are are a real professional. Had no idea of what took place in the back ground. I would buy your items, but being a man I would not wear them . Thank you for letting us see your world. I really appreciate how uncluttered and neat your work space is. Also, as you are, being clean is a good idea. My wife is a hair stylist and does permanent make up, so I tend to notice those things. Your hair looks amazing and your make up, I assume you do your self fits your personality and style perfectly. I love music and watching musicians really get in to their art as you do. I really enjoy watching and seeing, you and others perform. Thanks again.
