Going to look into buying a 2020 Vstrom 650XT Adventure this Saturday. Lot's of snow in Vermont, so I won't get to ride until April or May. Really enjoy your Motovlogs.
I've been lurking for a couple of months but finally got around to subscribing. Really like your laid back delivery and common sense approach to motorcycling. I live on Vancouver Island and like you are feeling the covid restrictions. Planning on a big BC loop through the Canadian Rockies this summer if the covid allows. Got back into riding a year ago with a 2018 Honda CRF250L Then I just had to pick up a 2020 V-Strom 650XT(black with gold rims) in November to round out the fleet. Enjoy your take on mods and gear...good practical info. Keep 'em coming.

I've been on a VStrom 1000 since I bought a 2012 DL1000 new in 2013. I just bought a brand new 2019 DL1000 this last December 2020. Leftover and a great deal. I still have the older Strom also. Makes me wish I had an older DL650 instead of an older DL1000, to compliment my 2019 DL1000. I'm 6'4" 230 lb and normally have my wife on the back. The DL1000 makes sense for me, but that WeeStrom 650 is such a capable bike, I love it too. Nice video, I enjoyed it very much. I loved the scenery in your area. Yes I love the DL1000. I haven’t ridden the 1050 but from what I’ve heard the 1000 is the one to get. Lot of 1000 videos on my channel too. Thanks for the support!

Well I have some videos re the subject but if you're 6' or over I recommend the bigger vstrom. I just love these engines and have nostalgia for the 650 from racing the SV. I haven't ridden the 1050 yet but thinking the 1000 is preferable, better torque.
