Assembly by myself was not too hard. I took my time and followed the diagrams. I particularly like the pictures and names of the exercises organized by muscle groups on the front of the ruclips.net/user/postUgkxKJHyBZ9I1py9vVi-XLpEBg0y-qmdhn3q . Considering the number of exercises it has a relatively small footprint. I needed a machine that was not too tall because I only have 79" headroom in my cabin and this was just over 78". It is easy to use, seems to be well made, and I am pleased with my purchase. I am doing upper body muscles on Monday and Thursday. Lower body exercises are being done on Tuesday and Friday. Not using it on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am a reasonably fit 66 year old man and this is a great workout.
Dylan Rosser it's hard to beat a barbell and a power rack, but if you where making a home gym and it was in the budget this thing would be great to have especially for accessory work. I train more for power lifting though so as long as I can do the main 3 and I have a barbell I'm good but this has the lat pull down, and tons of other things.
+Brian Ferry right on the money mate, your right, I find free weights like curls crushers fly's make me look bigger but abut puffier if that makes sense and cable I can train to failure withoyt worries, but your right with the power rack, man I wish I could get one 💪👍👌

Dylan Rosser thanks lol that was about a year and a half ago though, I'm just getting back into it, in the picture I was 220 my deadlift was 520, squat 450, and bench was 320. Not amazing numbers for that weight but better than most people. I was how some people say skinny fat lol, but upper back was definitely my strongest point. I'm 240 right now and not as strong I'm on keto right now to cut weight I lost 7 lbs on it so far and as of now just trying to back to where I was. plus to be fair I'm really short like 5'6" so I can pack on muscle relatively easy, I can also pack on fat easy too so it comes with its benefits and disadvantages.

(I think it's the best all rounder they do). Lee's demo is far better than the official one, as he demo's form better for the lat pull downs and the like.
No, but megatech and powertec are kind of similar, they use the same factories in asia and i think megatech split from powertec. The price of that triplex workout station is 1000 Euros with the bench. I bought that machine last week and i think its good, the bench is very good. The quality of the welds and other things is not so good but thats only cosmetical stuff, you can not expect it for that price, those things are made in asia but with german design. I did the first chest and shoulder workout today and the incline press and shoulder press function is allright, the bench is nice because you can sit very low, you need it for the shoulder press function, normal benches are not that low. The build was easy i would say.

I live in the U.S. and was wondering if the Megatec Lee demonstrated in this video is available in the U.S.? It is just what my girl and I are looking for so we can train at home and get away from the crowded gym we go to.
Those are vital, because with Powertec, it is hard to get both full range of motion and proper angle fro bench presses and shoulder presses, which re far more vital than incline presses. Body Solid unit has same problems.
I found out (my own research)- it is very the same thing but only the companys are different because of the owners. The promotors of powertec made new company and now they make the same thing but maybe change something on this new machine, like maybe hight or screws and color. But you can do the same thing like on powertec machine. I will buy one soon but from megatec because they are the only one in my country to get.

Some people said,the megatec got better bench, but the latest model of Powertec got great bench,more stable than previous models and they improved ticknes of the steel , I had both new and old version .

I have put over 250kg on my powertec machine, which is almost the same, and was stable, solid construction. Lee just demonstrate what you actually can do it on that.
