Remember when EDG threw their 9k gold lead against SKT and they recieved tons of flammings for that? Looks like G2 has outdone EDG by thousands of miles.

At least SKT really outplayed EDG in that game with a perfect teamfight, but this is a whole new level of throwing
Yeah, I know it was actually a good comeback from SKT but there are still people at the time blamming/mocking EDG for losing despite knowing they were playing against the greatest team of all time (Some are still doing that even now). Here G2 wasn't even playing against the best team of their region and they managed to throw even harder. Gotta wonder how those people feel now.

Watched this life. Was so happy for misfits, especially shlatan, as a jungle main, this requires ice cold calmness
I watched the first 15 minutes of this game and saw it as G2 stomping MSF, so I headed to the kitchen to get some food. I was surprised when I got back and saw this shit happening.
G2 is a solid team, but they have ego problems. Instead of securing the W they preferred to play with MSF which ultimately backfired on them. What a shame. If only they had someone consistent on their team.

The early game from G2 was insanely good, they shut down misfits. But that push to end sub 20min was plain stupid and disrespectful. Jankos diving the tier 2 turret was pure greed, especially since it put gold into vetheos pocket
The bounties they gave over to vetheo and neon helped those two hold the line and ramp up. There was just so much wrong with g2 decisions mid to late game.

SKT VS EDG is still way better because it wasn't an obvious throw like this game.
Yeah it was a hard throw and I don't understand why the casters praised msf so much bcs this game was actually really badly played by everyone except Vetheo and g2 only lost because they just were too greedy more than once trying to finish in under 19 minutes and later as well buuut.... I really loved the creativity in the early game and it looked incredibly clean early on, just need to not greed for the fastest win of the split and everything is great

yes, but any decent pro team should win that game if they are in G2's place. Its just complete mental breakdown from G2. Like last year was sad, this year looks to be even worse. Their roster just isn't good enough to be top tier LEC.
They should hire LS. They used to be a fun team that can play anything.

Why EU teams love Pyke?
because targamas and Hyli are both known for playing Pyke, and from the impact of the early game, as well as from the performance of FNC last week against G2, i'd say that their pyke are pretty good... if their teams don't throw a 14k lead xD
as for more detailed reason, i'd say the early roaming and pressure, as well as the snowball offered by pyke's ult.
there are probably only 3 players that can play it tho ( hyli, targa and miky )

Every team made roster changes. Fnc and vit also made 3 moves, msf, rge and mad made 2. Xl also made 2 if you count miky, plus they were scrimming together since worlds. They are really good but this is not an excuse
