Jairo, fear not (Mark chapter 5). Hope is not dead, it is only asleep. They that dwelt in Darkness hath seen a great Light. In Christ was the Life, and the Life was the Light of men. There is Hope (light) in this Dark World because of Christ. You know it. The World knows it. The World is in denial. But the Darkness cannot overpower it. John 3:16.

It would be redundant by now for me to say how beautiful Aksel sings, but I'm going to do it anyway! One advantage that Scandinavian boys have over German boys singing in English is that the "TH" sound exists in one form or another in their native tongues, but doesn't in German!

When a 12 year old boy is a better soprano than you....
Your sweet voice singing the very words of God has led me to ask you, "Do you know what you sing?" Young Aksel, I hope you will most solemnly consider the Gospel...it brings peace between man and God, NOT man and man. The Gospel first shows us that we are dead indeed. We are born as sinners and therefore we have no escape from sin, our entire being (no matter what we do or say) is riddled with sin. Only when the Spirit of God comes to a person and they are born of Him can they see their true hopeless, poor self and then they will call upon the Lord for timely help. What a blessing this is! When God shows us our utter need for a Savior this is the beginning of true life. We must know that unless one is born again of the Spirit of God, they cannot see the kingdom of God and that birth begins with great sorrow and fear, knowing we deserve hell. VERY few people know the true Gospel or have even heard it..."churches" today are void of it. Most think by simply naming the name of Jesus and being a "good person" is their way to heaven....but they are so wrong and lost. I implore you to read Psalm 51, especially verse 17. God loves a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart. Those who truly cry to Him for HIs tender mercies are those He loves and hears. KNOW, that Satan is a flatterer, and that is what you are receiving because of your gifted voice. God is not pleased with such things, he hears the prayers of the penitent NOT THE PROUD. Read Luke 18: 9-14 comparing two men who went to the temple to pray...one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. I write to you in love....you are NOT too young to know the meaning of what you sing from Romans 10:15 which is quoting the prophets Isaiah and Nahum from the Old Testament. Marti Holland

The organ player should get a metronom for christmas - his playing is a pure disaster. The singer is absolutely superb superb, incredible.

tryhard... in a good way
Master Rykkvin is not bad with the right material. His technique is great, But his voice is quite thin compared to Benjamin Isachsen, another Norwegian boy soprano, who has long since passed into the deep voiced fold.
