- Time for some more Queensrÿche! This time we're digging into the Japanese leg of the Empire tour, and we're starting off with a show that has both great video and audio quality.
A special surprise for this show is that Pamela Moore joins the band on stage for 'Suite Sister Mary'!
We also get solid renditions of all songs, as the band have had a short break between the European leg, the Rock in Rio 2 show, and this Japanese leg. The Empire songs sound really strong, especially stuff like 'Resistance', 'Best I Can', 'Jet City Woman', and 'Silent Lucidity'.
This is being re-uploaded to make better use of filters to remove video noise, improve the de-interlacing, and minimize the audio distortion (the audio was slightly distorted when recording took place).
Overall it's a really great show, with a surprise appearance from Pamela Moore. Enjoy!

Excellent video quality - looks like it was filmed a just a few months ago! So nice to see footage from the Building Empires tour. I really wish there was footage from the Cleveland, Ohio show from (May '91) because I would love to see that one again. That QR show was the best concert/live performance I've ever seen.
Come back brother, we need more 'Ryche! Me and my ears could never thank you enough for the work u did with this channel. Thanks to you I discovered the band a years ago, and since that moment I listen to them almost every single day (especially that golden voice Tate has).

🚩🚩🚩,,I seen these guys a few times and could honestly say that they sounded better in person than recording..his voice was killer and still is today 2022 I watched a video of Geoff with his band and @ 60+ he's still got a great voice 💯

What? He punted on the high note at the beginning and didn’t even try??? That’s the main highlight of the song!! ...disappointing!
...he'd been singing for almost 2hrs straight by this time. The fact that he sounds this good is good enough.
Yeah, I was like aw man. But singing this song after a 2 show is too much, lol. Geoff still great!
He quickly sings the same note (E5) on two other parts of the song ("so take HOOOLD of the flame"). At the end of a concert? Pretty good not gonna lie.
@@marcelo.bassalo Sure, but 5 years earlier he hit every damn note cleanly even though this was the last song (and "Queen of the Reich" was the encore). He lost his ability to sustain those E5's around 1990 (not sure exactly when.. somewhere between Mindcrime and Empire). Still a killer vocalist, by all means, but those high notes were a gigantic part of early Queensryche.
@Rogério Corrêa de Souza I know, an awful lot of vocalists smoke.
