Thanks for this type of content as I’m looking to return to JA next year. I like what Jamaica is doing I just hope they keep the prices affordable so that the locals Jamaicans can also afford the lifestyle because they’re just as important. It’s a slippery slope with these developments and what the locals will able to afford. Keep informing us Sis!
I would recommend that if you really have your return date set for next year and want to purchase, put your down-payment in now so you get locked in at current price, longer you wait, more you will have to pay
They sent the prices for local Jamaicans cause we cannot afford these types of places. They fo that on purpose because their not looking for local buyers which is what’s happening all around Jamaica. Someone rich comes in buys acres of land and build these scheme houses ( which most Jamaicans hate because it looks to foreign) and price them for the wealthy. Everything that they do is to remove our culture because the scheme looks like America, e don’t what to look or be like Jamaica
Thank you sis for being partnered w/these developers as another commenter mentioned I truly hope they remain mindful to have JAMAICANS become first time homeowners not have outrageous prices on units and circulate revenue within their communities that they work, attend school, build families and entertainment for us by us. I would actually book an airbnb at one of these homes, I liked the decor it wasn't tacky furniture, nor loud colors very clean modern tastefully decor that is aesthetically pleasing. Big up yuhself and 876 massive!
I love this house, only because every time I see a small development home they have an open concept kitchen and this one is actually closed off also a sliding closet

This is giving me UK new built houses. What I love about Jamaican houses is how unique they all are. These houses have no personality and the space is compact. The house is nice but it’s too small, I think this is mainly designed for nuclear families/ small single families or single people.

Hanover homes are well designed fir their size. Don’t really like cookie cutter, but not a deal breaker. Nice views for ocean lovers, probably gets nice breeze.
The only things that I don't like about the house is that it is near the road where I will be disturbed by the noise from the traffic. Everything else is great and exotic
How is the beach across the A1 over there? Is it public beach or is the beach at risk of being taken over by a resort? I guess that would be my biggest concern if was going to purchase a unit
We returning end of August is there anywhere like this in Manchester we looking for a fairly new 4 bedroom house or a spacious 3 bedroom not necessarily gated
From what I have seen online, mostly townhouses in the Mandeville area, other gated communities you would have to purchase land and build. There might also be a few single family homes for sale... check out real estate websites like Coldwell bankers and kwilliams to get an idea of places and prices... good luck... and remember, if you don't have a JA passport when you return, you need to get a conditional landing permit, saves you on paying huge duty rates to clear your stuff and you will get a year to ship things.... and good luck and welcome home
@@karenr3355 they can come back as returning residents which will give them much better duty rates. They give you an allowance where you can bring your goods in without duty.
