Next we going to kick out all these post 94 voters... I'm glad everyday how Africa is getting exposed for how whites are led to live under racial socialism
The worst is i scored the highest in my SACAP exams at 97 percent. And the home affairs rejected my critical skills visa renewal based on new critical skills list that is coz of published NQF level being the reason. I appealed asking them to give me time so that i can study and get to that nqf level 9 it takes approx a year or two but even that was rejected. Despite of highly skilled professional that are already leaving at their own will they are also loosing people like me that are being forced to leave. 😢
NQF means nothing, they did the same to white qualified citizens in 94'... They "restructured" the entire primary secondary and tertiary education systems to implement BEE! But then again you a foreigner, so why don't you go? This is a citizen of South Africas right, not yours...
Yep, the 1st sign that a country is failing is when the young graduates and other highly qualified people leave their country to pursue a career in a healthier environment. Other indicators are personal wealth flowing out of the country, disinvestment together with foreign investment slowing down. Our government lacks much intellect so only lives for the day so they aren't really concerned with the knock on consequences of highly qualified people emegrating. Note ... This group when leaving the country directly reduces the revenue that state coffers so desperately needs to provide social welfare for those with no skills, unemployed and elderly . Possibly, many if they did not leave would start businesses providing much employment for the people. Sadly, this fact is inconsequential to the state as they are disadvantaged by their lack of vision and intellect.

The attitude in South Africa is "our people" must get free education, water, electricity, transport, housing, education, school lunches, cash grants and services... but they don't need to contribute anything. Sars cannot argue with an international treaty with another country! Oh, and of course, I don't want to live in a country that has its head up Russia and China's "you know what". The biggest cause of brain drain in SA is the ANC, Cosatu and the SA Goverment, driving sensible, educated and experienced South Africans out of the country (of all races). Most not even South Africans but African migrants coming to SA and use it as their ticket to Europe.
Clever...
Thats an opening for our brothers and sisters sitting with degress at home.
Depending on the colour of their skin....
Why support a government that sucks you dry... for their buddies who are as corrupt as they themselves?? Leave ,while you can.....

@Svig Who is going to employ them if they all close up and leave? Zuma? Malema? Ramaphosa?
I think the country is producing a lot of graduates annually and this brain-drain will forever be filled. Yes, it takes time to create specialists who are exceptional but we shouldn't fret, we will eventually offset the drainage.
No, we won't, it will get worse
When?
You forget there is a constant cycle that involves retirement in other countries and SA. Skills will always need to be topped up so its not going to ever reach saturation point.
Lets leave people please
In europe we need young well educated. Id prefer ppl who come here and adapt to our society well. If you want multiculture the US is your best bet to find what you are looking for. There are pockets of anything over there. Not here.
It was Zuma causing the brain drain. Is it still Zuma ?😂😂
Lol Zuma is responsible for Ramaphosa!
Hulle sal dit nie wys maar dis waar yes
These are dual citizenship holders and this opens job opportunities for black graduates, the quality of life abroad is poor and you will always be treated as an immigrant, and living in a tiny axpensive house
Let south africans explore the world, but allow us to explore their country. Given a chance even Dudula members would love to migrate to Canada, Australia and Europe.
I think Zimbabweans educated must give SOUTH AFRICANS a space.

No thanks, we do not need burdens like that abroad

We do need a reset.
It starts with each of us.
The best doctors already leaving.

The whole world is in a big mess, the worse will fall on all the inhabitants of the world. There is no better place on earth, you leave the country, its fine but know that you will encounter problems were you heading. The West and American news only shows the beautiful side of their world but don't show the bad things that happen there. Our news in the continent are transparent at all times.

Mistake, those countries will be 3rd world
With all these so called professionals and civilised society and yet South Africa still not productive.😂..I guess by them leaving might just turn out to be better productivity for South Africa with homegrown professionals...😅 aleast the youth gotta a chance of trying for top positions 😂
You expectedc10% of people working to make the country better whilst others sit at home or avoid paying taxes? 😂
These professionals are previously advantaged. The gap will be filled in due course
Thats not true, based on home affairs reports. Most are young black professionals.
as well as middle class Boere who's families were disadvantaged during the war and dont have euro passports.
There are many black South Africans in the UK. Do you think race turns down opportunity, money and better education and safety?
Let them go one by one, they aren't many of them anyway, big opportunity for the black majority youth

But I think if they are immigrating, then there should be open vacancies and that means those who will occupy will pay tax, so it shouldn't be much of an issue🙆
The issue is, these people have skills that are no longer taught at universities.
66% youth unemployment proves otherwise. After someone leaves its more likely the position is terminated than reappointed to someone else.
You can have a connection in government or a pass rate of 30%. That does not make you skilled.
Let them go... others will replace them.
What makes you so sure?
With a 30% passrate. Haha.

@@goodmansibisi861 I'm cynical bru. So far I'm seeing people leave and companies not fill in all those positions - definitely not with positions up to 10 years of experience, but maybe that's just the case for engineering. I have a BSc Chemical Engineering and 5 years experience. They seem to hire internally rather than take on new people and just reduce in size overall. Latest economic and employment data reinforces this. Maybe we just in a recession and things will improve, but this is the current state of the country and it's getting worse. I have friends who left the country because they were retrenched and couldn't find work, and others who are still working here under more pressure because their companies won't hire new people to take over the additional work. But again, maybe it's just for Engineering...

It is not the case of professional leaving for other countries but all these people are leaving to go back to their countries where they belong and nothing else

that's actually irrelevant - but it becomes obvious the country is damaged when people OF COLOUR also emigrate !

We have more than enough, but professionals are not being replaced by them. The positions are just being terminated.
