Y'know i thought that too (and it kinda was) but then i saw iHeart 2014 and that was shit too. iHeart festival just has a super shit crowd.

I met Billie a few months before this. He was looking healthy, and overall, he was just super nice, extremely gracious, and totally unassuming. Just a really nice guy to be around. I'm glad to hear he's doing better after this incident.

Coming from a family with an alcoholic father, seeing someone else who's an alcoholic always breaks my heart. Billie has been my hero for the past 8 years or so, and will continue to be, and I was super glad to see he announced recently that he's doing much better. I'm sure he wishes he didn't flip out like that publicly on TV, even for the person he is, you can't not regret that in some way shape or form,

I remember watching this and thinking he quite obviously has a drinking problem. I'm kinda glad iheart radio happened because it was such a wake up call for him
I find it so hard to watch this, and I'm just a fan. Which makes me feel so sorry for his friends and family. What must it have been like for them to see him reduced to this? I can't even imagine it. I hope I never have to deal with addiction, or see one of my loved ones go through it, it's horrific.

Billie isn't always like that. When he is sober he is just like the old billie. I saw him in april at Dunkin Donuts center and it was like he was in 2009 again. He was the same guy and it shocked me. I felt like I saw my long lost friend. You can just tell when he is drunk/high or sober.

Alcohol addiction was a huge problem in my family. If I was there during this interview and saw him like that I would of cried.
I know. compare this billie joe to how he was in interviews 2009-2010. He's like a completely different man :( shows just what alcohol and prescription drugs can do to you if you're not careful. it's SO sad, he didn't deserve what happened to him. nobody deserves to go through something like that.

As a person with an recovering alcoholic sister, sometimes it's okay to not take everything that happened to seriously, especially when a fun story came out of a drunken state, I don't sit around and tell her it's not funny. He's recovered and this was a brief time when he was drunk in an interview... that's it.

Billie Joe's behavior is actually very unusual--show me one other major televised appearance where he's drunk off his ass and hitting on the female host. In addition, Mike and Tre appear pretty sober. Obviously, there are times when they all hit the stage more than a little lit, but when that happens they're all relatively happy drunks. This instance appears to be limited to just Billie Joe, and he appears to be anything but happy.
