Since I first started listening to Green Day I’ve always found alot within the lyrics that initially just made me feel like I wasn’t the only one. I found a whole world on the other side of it getting into the punk scene and after about 30yrs nearly everything in my life somehow touches on that connection, even things like jobs bc you find them through friends you met through the scene or you do something you learned form someone there or whatever. But now I’ve come back to this point of feeling lost and alone only it’s much worse than that feeling at 12 when I know I’ll be outta here eventually and this time it’s all backwards-doing right every step and having that somehow twisted yet the extremely wrong and under no circumstances ever ok thing someone else did beginning this domino effect be washed away somehow made the bad guy without ANY explanation despite asking over and over. Anyway, all that has gotten me to this point where again I feel isolated and spend too much time alone. (Despite being screwed over by someone I should have been able to rely on undoubtedly having been promised throughout my entire life that if anything exactly like this ever happened I could always count on that..😢) I do still have a few right ppl who I met through this scene who’re solid af fortunately some people never have a single person like that. Still I’m isolated…. I swear there’s a point related to this video….. So when BillieJoe starts talking about being in your own head writing lyrics 24 hours a day-that’s where I’m at…. Always has been. I grew up around writers and have always written. That was the natural way to go for me but generally I’ve had someone around; seen or talked to someone regularly often had a partner in crime I’d write with -lyrics and music. If I got stuck, they’d help and they actually understood what I was writing-sometimes even when I didn’t quite know yet; it was just coming out. The quote he said here was spot on. I had to go back and do a screen recording so I could hear it again later thinking that’s gonna help. The next part about being surprised you survived--that so many y times over but usually not me ready to jump so much thigh maybe a couple times but just insane unbelievable stories of not believe if they hadn’t happened to me. I’ve been told to write about some and honestly believe I’d have to lie to make people believe it was the truth -as in toning it down bc the real truth is so insane. Standing at the edge though -being vulnerable and giving for so long and trying to forgive and forget and move forward--this time, I didn’t jump. I was pushed and my fingers peeled off the cliff as I held on.
When Billie said "I'm not Justin Beiber mother f$%^&*." I felt that. No you're not Billie and even though he was struggling seeing him smash his guitar was so rock n roll. Glad to see him make it out of this time period but also the trilogy is wonderful.
Honestly, I love the Trilogy. There are some absolute bangers in it, some nice songs. I am very biased when it comes to Green Day, I admit, but I just love all of their songs. Like, starting from At the Library and ending at Graffitia (and of course, the two new songs). They're my favorite band, they're my band. I am confident that I can find something great in every single one of their songs.
Dirty Rotten Bastards is a good song, personally i really like Fuck Time, Stray Heart, Let Yourself Go, Kill The DJ, Stay The Night, 99 Revolution, Nuclear Family and basically the whole trilogy album
UNO DOS TRE is one of my favorite Green Day era’s by far. It’s just down and dirty rock and roll songs. That’s it. Sure, it’s not an epic like AI or 21CBD, but that’s alright. We don’t need that every album.
I'm hoping that some trilogy songs will make the cut for future club shows, at the very least. As time has gone on, it seems that more fans are looking back fondly on the trilogy (maybe bc FOAM did not meet expectations). Some of their, IMO, best songs are on those albums.
Tre' is a freaking masterpiece! SO underrated! I've personally got it just below Dookie, American Idiot and Warning at #4 on my rankings! Uno is really good too! Dos is my least favorite of the three and just above Father Of All down at the bottom of my rankings but I respect it for what it was. Dos is great compared to FOAM, lol!
Still think iheartradio were just as much in the wrong here - why would you tell one of the biggest bands a third of the way through one of their biggest hits 'oh you guys need to wrap it up'? If they had have given a signal before the song or after to wrap up that would have been more understandable, but right in the middle? 🤨
To put it in simple terms: people just didn´t get the trilogy. The majority of teens and tweens who listened to Green Day back in the day (2012) had no clue about dirty 60´s Rock´n Roll. The people who do have a clue and appreciate that kind of music don´t listen to Green Day because Greeen Day are "too young" for their generation as a band. If the Trilogy would have come out in the 60´s, it would have been a banger writing musical history racing to No. 1 on the charts for weeks. You wanna understand the trilogy? Get to a dirty, funky small club, get the DJ to play that stuff and get fuckin wasted. Have the time of your life that night, sober up the next fiew days, listen back to the Trilogy. You´ll love it.
The crowd was so awful and lame for that performance I have no idea why anyone blamed him for acting that way. Watch the entire set, He worked his ass off and got nothing in response from them. I 1000% would have acted the same way if I performed for 30 minutes to such an awful audience then they cut my set short for usher.
Uno and Tre are solid albums, much better than Father of All and in my opinion better than Rev Radio (as an album) to me, only half of that album is great, but the great songs on Rev Radio are fantastic. But Uno is better

For what it's worth, i really love the Trilogy, maybe they're not my favorite Green Day albums, but the quality and dedication is not lost on me and i hope they bring back a few songs if it's not too hard on Billie Joe.
Billie was fucked up. I'm glad he got the help that he desperately needed.
When Billie said "I'm not Justin Beiber mother f$%^&*." I felt that.
No you're not Billie and even though he was struggling seeing him smash his guitar was so rock n roll. Glad to see him make it out of this time period but also the trilogy is wonderful.
And then the song dilemma comes out
Honestly, I love the Trilogy.
What's this from?
Dirty Rotten Bastards is a good song, personally i really like Fuck Time, Stray Heart, Let Yourself Go, Kill The DJ, Stay The Night, 99 Revolution, Nuclear Family and basically the whole trilogy album
The trilogy is my favourite green day album next to revolution radio, warning and father of all
UNO DOS TRE is one of my favorite Green Day era’s by far. It’s just down and dirty rock and roll songs. That’s it. Sure, it’s not an epic like AI or 21CBD, but that’s alright. We don’t need that every album.
when was this made
If The Beatles' White Album would have been a great single album as George Martin said, these 3 albums SERIOUSLY needed to be a single album
Beautiful yea it is what it is. Rock on BJ
There's some great songs on those albums. I listen to demolicious more than the actual trilogy though, i just prefer its raw sound
Where is this from?
Dos and tre have some hidden gems in em, but uno doesnt have a single bad Song imo, simple but powerful album
Where did you get this audio from?
Welcome to My Panic (a free audible audiobook by Billie)
I know how you feel Billie. I'm trapped in my own mind. I cant get any sleep anymore. I'm starting to have angry outbursts too.
Honestly the one minute rant and guitar smash was the most rock n roll thing he has done since american idiot.
Trilogy is the best green day has come with brought back the insomniac vibes and it was payed for in blood ❤
I didn't get insomniac vibes from those albums.
@@mobilesuitjesse to each their own my friend
It’s s plain as day that Billie/Green Day have erased the trilogy off the face of the earth! Not even one song gets played anymore!!
Wrong, they still play songs off these three.
@@sluice only recently they’ve started playing ‘oh love’
when was last time before that???? Hella mega? No!! Rev rad tour? No!!!! I rest my case
@@trickhotspot9452they did play nuclear family and amy during the rev rad tour.
I'm hoping that some trilogy songs will make the cut for future club shows, at the very least. As time has gone on, it seems that more fans are looking back fondly on the trilogy (maybe bc FOAM did not meet expectations). Some of their, IMO, best songs are on those albums.
@@trickhotspot9452They played some trilogy songs during the Rev rad tour, not often but they still played some
It's better to have 10 great songs than 100 good ones in my opinion
Tre' is a freaking masterpiece! SO underrated! I've personally got it just below Dookie, American Idiot and Warning at #4 on my rankings! Uno is really good too! Dos is my least favorite of the three and just above Father Of All down at the bottom of my rankings but I respect it for what it was. Dos is great compared to FOAM, lol!
The trilogy was my favorite Green Day music idc what anyone says
Nah that was jaded part 2
Writting is hard
Green day made 1 good album in 1994.
Booo
Still think iheartradio were just as much in the wrong here - why would you tell one of the biggest bands a third of the way through one of their biggest hits 'oh you guys need to wrap it up'? If they had have given a signal before the song or after to wrap up that would have been more understandable, but right in the middle? 🤨
1000%
@404TVfr Did you try it?
@404TVfr wrong opinion.
The crowd was so awful and lame for that performance I have no idea why anyone blamed him for acting that way. Watch the entire set, He worked his ass off and got nothing in response from them. I 1000% would have acted the same way if I performed for 30 minutes to such an awful audience then they cut my set short for usher.
i really love the trilogy.
Uno and Tre are solid albums, much better than Father of All and in my opinion better than Rev Radio (as an album) to me, only half of that album is great, but the great songs on Rev Radio are fantastic. But Uno is better
Dos is clear.
